Official Trophy Thread - 4/21: Enhanced Trophy Lists Coming in Firmware 3.30

What is so appealing about them? I dont get it...No one is gonna be comparing/looking at PSP trophies. I mean, does anyone besides freeky actually use the compare trophies feature anymore? It was cool for a couple months. Now that the novelty has worn off it isnt that great
 
okay, real stupid questions (i can't search, since games sites are blocked).

Tomb Raider Underworld.... Swan Dive trophies... First off, how the hell you do a swan dive? Secondly, besides the first dive, where do you dive for the second and third one? The 2nd one is from the ship, but where exactly? The very front tip of the ship (like Titanic thingy?) or somewhere else? The last dive trophy, the cliff, where exactly you suppose to jump off?

Yeah me too. I'm always comparing my trophies with people who I see playing the particularly game I'm into at the moment. Just last night I was checking to see if I have more in Infamous than Frisky and Rei. :lol:

Eh, it's too freaking easy... i youtube'd Swan Dive Trophy at home. To Swan Dive, jump off and press the button that dives (X or O, i don't remember). For the exact spots, the video is better.
 
Rockband 2 SE is on sale and them trophies too! It's about time to go crazy (rockstar crazy).

Question, are the trophies easy to get? I have ZERO skills (never played music games before) and i can't sing either :lol:

I wouldn't consider them easy at all. Many require getting 100% on Expert. I've played the game a lot (not as much as RB1) and I only have 24% of the trophies unlocked.

There are a few that are extremely hard to get (Finish the entire set list on expert and finish the entire set list without pausing/failing come to mind). The rest of them just take lots of time more than anything (play at every venue, earn 100,000 dollars, get 1 million fans, etc.).
 
thanks guys. As long as there are few easy ones, it's all good. I love perfections, but i have way too many incomplete trophies so i give up on the 100% idea long time ago (it's just damn anal to get the platinum).

WHY?!?! Why does the platinum has to be something like "to unlock this, get all the rest of the trophies." I hate that formula...

I have Platinum:) Yeah,some are hard but ALOT of them are time consuming.
 
If anyone is willing, I am looking to just temporary GameShare. I want to expand my trophy collection, but I don't want to buy games. I simply want to get on your account to download the games and get the trophies. Afterwards, I will deactivate my system. I simply just want to get trophies. PM if you are willing. I might be getting some PS1 games so you can get something out of this. I might also be getting future game codes from GameStop so look out.

I have like 5-6 trophy lists to post, hopefully all them lists will be up before the weekend passes... y'all. ;)
 
Agreed on SR2, just plain lazy on their part. Another reason for me to stay with the GTA4 franchise... since it's pretty much the same damn thing.

Oh, and if IIRC what they said a few weeks ago it was 'no retroactive trophy support'. PR spinning their way to victory.

No, Ben Judd said that they weren't able accomplish their goal to get the trophies out before the sequel:

It was initially our goal to retro-program in trophies for BCR while we were working on them in the 3D version. Unfortunately, the clock ran out and we had to put all our resources on completing the 3D game. I know this comes as a disappointment to a lot of people and trust me, it’s incredibly disappointing to me as well, but rather than giving you a PR-coated response, I’d rather give it to you straight. It was a tough call but with limited resources and time, we had to cut this from the main production schedule in order to make the 3D game the best it could be. Again, personal apologies for not being able to come through with this one.

Besides Hannah Montana, any other easy platinum trophy games? How's Pixar's Up? Easy platinum?

The only annoying trophy in Hannah Montana was the throwing mini-game at the carnival, it took me 40 minutes...

okay, i confess it was not a proud moment completing 100% in Hannah Montana. Even though it took me like 4 hours to get it, still, i was ridiculed by my own family members... I'm still embarrassed from comments like "OMG, you're dressing up dolls?" "You're shopping for the girl?" "What the hell? You're riding a pony?" Okay, i kinda defended the last comment with "It's not a pony, it's Blue Jeans, i mean a horse..." As you can see, even my defense embarrassed me.

However, i had never chuckled so hard when playing HM (laughing too loud only draws more unwanted attention). There were so many funny little things in that game, so wrong... Anyway, the way i see it, the easy trophies counter balance the super-anally-next-to-impossible trophies. We need those easy ones from time to time. Hey, it's easy, but still, you gotta to play to get them, so what's your point?

As a matter of fact, if you can stand the HM game and finished it 100%, it's actually a very brave manly thing... How you put it? I dare you :lol:!
