To be honest, I don't really get it either. I understand the desire to keep a flood of Maw/ r-type codes off the market, but a small number giveaway, like Joe Danger 2, should be different, especially considering it just came out today.

you shouldn't have had to install the software in order to get everything to work.

if if took you more than an hour to get everything setup, then you did something work, or were to impatient and wanted everything to sync instantaneously.
in the grand scheme of things, raptr rewards are suppose to an incentive for gamers to use their service and play games from publishers who support raptr

they are doing it cause they recognize that some people got like several copys of the game and there trying to keep the profiteering down cause someone obviosly got tons of the code and they took the chance away from others that could have gotten a copy there trying to send a message to everyone here that wont be tolerated.even if it was a small number someone obliviously has like 20 copy's or more of the game.-but really its there site and there rules so we can except them or we can leave i suppose.Honestly every game raptor give away should get banned so people will only take one code not 50.playxbla is different you have to win there contest to get codes so it not somone is being greedy and taking 50 they get 1.

Wrong.
This giveaway required you to be an "Experienced" player in a few select games they chose.
It's extremely unlikely anyone had multiple Gamertags linked to a Facebook account with a bunch of hours logged into one of those specific games.
Even then, the website was borked and not working well at all during the 1 hour giveaway.
But thanks for spreading your lies and fake facts.

im sure someone on this site has devised a way to get more codes than they were suppose to i never underestimate that sort of stuff it happenes all the time and if you beleive your take on it to be true go ahead and beleive it and those who choose to follow you will follow you but theres always a way to do stuff like that and get more than your suppose to ill stand bye what i beleive and you can stand bye what you beleive other than that im finished with the joe danger 2 code problem. going to play some xboxlive and be done with this craziness the mods have spoken there rule is law and thats that ;p

Wow, there might be a valid point in there, but I lost it like you lost all the periods that were supposed to be in there. :razz:

All kidding aside, this contest wasn't that abusable, like so many others were. I'm sure 90% of all codes on this board were free, yet they can be traded. If someone has 1 of any code for trade, it should be fair game. There was no abuse there. If someone were selling 5 of the Joe Danger codes or many of the same "online passes" for the same game, then yeah, shut that down. Maw and R-Type can be traded again, so in a week, Joe Danger 2 will be fine to trade again. People forget stuff pretty fast.

i got hardcore in joe danger se within an hours time. not only is it time played but it also achievements. the achievements from joe danger se are pretty easy. i breezed through the trials got those cheevos as well as several others in the process.

so in theory if you had a few hours and few GTs, you could get multiple codes. you'd have to link them to newly created fb profiles, but that is a 2 minute ordeal

You would have to find someone that still has an unredeemed code for Smash TV and trade them something for it. I've not seen anyone offer codes for Smash TV specifically, but there have been a few for Joust and Robotron (other Midway delisted games).

Technically, yes you could redeem it, but I don't know that any such codes still exist.

Anyhow, I got a Joust code the other day but every time I tried to redeem it via the website (xbox.com) I would get an error and redeeming from the dashboard gave different error. (It would pull up the game information but clicking to download would cause an error to occur. Status Code: 80153021)

Anyhow, MS tech support was as much help as possible. They told me the code was valid and should be working so they escalated it to the next level. The next level emailed me and told me the files were gone.

That said, I've owned Robotron 2084 for a long time now and it let me add the game to my queue via the website and redownload it once again... So it might just be Joust.
