This is a very rare game. My gamestop has this as well (behind the counter along with their lunar games). I have seen it sell on ebay for over 70.00 and there is an auction that is currently at 46.00 with 19 hours left. This isn't the best time to sell on ebay (Im keeping all my games till holiday season) so I figure it would sell for a lot more. I think it would be a worthwhile purchase for you.

Edited: Hey Jaket, I searched completed listings on ebay for you and this one sold for 82.00 yesterday. Another one sold for 81.00 and another for 76.00. I'd pick this up if I were you.

Nope, I got both of mine on the same day and they were disk only. Tactics Ogre even had a blockbuster sticker on it covering the center part and won't play. I am send both of them back tomorrow in the am when I get to work. These were my first two games I was displeased with, so I can try again I guess.

yea i think im going to keep some of my rarer Ps1 rpg game till around xmas time. One brigeidine game i sold Only grabbed 25 bucks i sold one few months back and disc only back then fetched 45

I don't get it. I tried selling a Castlevania: SotN with original case on ebay. I saw it sell for 60.00 a month ago and my reserve didn't even break. It would have sold for 27.00!!! That is only 4.00 more than I paid for it. I am definately holding out. My success at Christmas time last year made me 1500.00 richer (selling PS2s and Nintendo Dss [Sp?] as well as some other games). Only problem is, my bank account is taking a hit and I have all these games just sitting here. Oh well. Patience!

I don't really care though. I am excited about playing and beating Mega Man X3 again as well as Mario RPG. I may even keep them. I have a pretty large SNES collection and they are both great games.
 
I know this is a stupid question that's probably been asked a million times already, but I really don't feel like looking through 143 pages to find the answer. Anyway, what does b/c stand for? Does it have anything to do with the cart?

b/c = before coupon - in this thread's case, the CAG15 (15% off) and Edge Card (10% off) coupons.

Phantom Brave is a terrible place to start. Its a very complex strat/rpg. Best place to start (because its easy to pick up and questionable one of the greatest games ever made) is Final Fantasy Tactics.

My favorite game ever.
 
If any of you have 4 or more games that you are getting this morning, the BUY3GET1 coupon might come in handy for the expensive games. FYI

i still remember getting super mario rpg at a pawn shop 5 days after it came out for 7.99. Some dude must needed money badly and pawned it off. I heard the dude came back a few days later and found out they sold it on him. i had it up to a few years ago when i dump it. Its a great game, very easy but very fun. I still remember staying up that first night until like 3am playing it.

FFT is one of the best games ever, but not the easiest tactics game out there either. I'd probably say Vandal Hearts, just because it's fairly easy and straightforward. That's what I started my girlfriend out on when she wanted to play tactics games and it worked well.

If I ever sell an expensive game, I usuallly do buy it now, b/c I think a lot of ppl get scared off by a reserve. Sure, you could end up with more taking the risk on an auction, but I like to know what it most likely will sell for.
 
If you have 4 PS2 games or high priced PS1 games, this is a great deal. 25% off each game basically, and you get an additional 10%. 35% discount.
 
bad thing about selling stuff this xmas, most people will be looking for xbox 360 and i think gamecube and ps2 may take a hit. Everyone will be 360 crazy

Yeah, I second that. I'll usually pass right over auctions with reserves on them. No point in trying to figure out how much I have to bid before it actually counts when I can just find another auction.
 
I don't think the buy3get1 code is beneficial during the morning update......... games usually go really quick, so you kind of have to buy in small orders ( 1 item in an order) ........otherwise someone will snatch it form you

I may try to preorder a few. Maybe they will sell for a bunch. I am debating though. They may not....suggestions?
 
a worker told me at best buy last week to be on the look out for xbox and xbox games to take a major hit the day after thankgiving. They dont have the room for xbox and xbox 360 stuff so they are going to start clearing them out. they said by summer 2006 xbox games could be as low as 4.99 and most will be gone

how they were talking its going to be like when they cleared the dreamcast out a few years back. Top titles were 4.99 and the rest were like 1.99... i got to the party too late and all the good dreamcast games were long gone

I ordered the Dreamcast 15 games for $50. Used the $1.99 shipping and got them the next day. I guess because Chester County, PA is the next count over from Berks County where I live. Anyway, 8 were complete and 7 were just EBGames jewel cases...Not bad at all, I was very happy! I went online and printed covers and they look great. Now if I can find a printable manual...
