thats nuts 7. I wonder if these were just new but opened fan eds.
People have reported getting case and discs, mostly.
yea i got one last week was just case and discs,
Still, not bad for $23 AC. I ordered one, hopefully it's better than the one at my local EB (just the making of disc for full price).
Might want to check in-store availability on those expensive SNES games, with the 50% off sale going on.
Does the 50% off work on gameboy games?
thats nuts 7. I wonder if these were just new but opened fan eds.
If I'm not mistaken, there was no "Fan Art Edition" of Lunar Eternal Blue Complete. Only Lunar Silver Star Story Complete had such a rerelease.

i know i went over to a gametrader around indy to pick up journey west and it was only 20 bucks and i though wow that is cheap. picked up the game no game went up and they go That game is so rare the CASE ALONE IS WORTH 20 i laughed and walked out

What's the difference? And what is the "fan art" edition?

how can you tell?

Lunar Silver Star Story Complete had a rerelease Working Designs called the "Fan Art Edition." It was the same game, but without all the bonus stuff. The discs had fan art on them instead of original artwork.
why wouldn't SAVER shipping code work on PRe-played SNES game?
i had the same problem this morning with Castlevania IV

also I noticed it says does not include instructions or packaging for SNES game, is that always the case or is there like a 1% i'll get a more quasi-complete game? anybody received booklet or box for snes games bought used at ebgames.com
i had the same problem this morning with Castlevania IV
they said there is a glitch in the system that wont allow some games to be stack with saver (i asked yesterday when i called to be put on backorder for a game)

I would call again today to be put on backorder for earthbound but dont want to push my luck ( they did it for me on a game on friday and monday)

i've been away from the morning update scene for awhile has secret of man been a fairly common occurrence here, b/c I was very surprised to see it
Interesting. It's odd this is not mentioned on their site, as they have information on disc art variations for other games. For the curious, here are the disc variations for Lunar SSSC:

http://workingdesigns.com/museum/playstation/ourgames/lunar-sssc/cd_labels/contents.htm
I would certainly like to find out which version I have, but unfortunately, my copies (SSSC and Eternal Blue) are sealed... I guess I won't know for a while. I'm half tempted to open them right now and look, if theres a set thats really rare.

To SNES Questions:

SAVER isn't working with SNES games right now, unless you have a PO game from another system in your cart at the same time (plenty of 99 cent games out there, FYI).

SNES games are always listed as not having instructions or packaging. However, there is a chance (probably
I'm a devil customer. Put in my order: Ultima Exodus for NES. $1.58 shipped. :D Couldn't find anything else today.
Don't blame you and no judgment attached (done the same myself) but this is the kind of order that will kill (if anything can) the free shipping from EB.

If I were management there . . . I'd make it a $10 min for free shipping . . . but I hope they don't do this.

Picked up Lunar 2 for 25.00 A/C, but got on ebay and found out that almost ALL games on there are complete and aren't going for much more. Maybe I should cancel and just try my luck at Ebay. At least I'll get the case and manual. I'm guessing around $30-35.
Does the fan art edition come with all the extras (hard book, soundtrack, map)? Because this auction clearly pictures the fan art discs with all the extra stuff.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8205020718&category=62053&ssPageName=WDVW&rd=1

EDIT:Also, which is worth more? I apparantly used to have the original discs.
No, it included standard instructions, and the case. That was it.

You can tell the difference in that the back of the case of the fan-art rerelease version has screen shots and information. The original release had that stuff on the back of the cardboard box, and the back of the case just had an illustration.

Always remember to read the item descriptions if buying on eBay. The game is called "Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete", so complete in the auction title doesn't necessarily mean complete.
The updates are getting less and less everyday
So what?

You can either stop checking them or continue to do so in hopes of getting a gold mine. Complaining won't accomplish anything; it's not like EB is watching this thread to determine what drops in price when.

I would like to complain about people who complain about complaints. It's about time something is done about it.

It runs hot and cold . . . suddenly a day will pop up with all kinds of things and those who aren't discouraged will score.
