My Lunar 2 was cancelled as well... Someone probably listed used copies as new by mistake. At least they didn't ship us used copies instead.

My 2nd Mars Matrix was complete, returned the first one. Haven't seen Valkyrie Profile again so mine is still disc only. They actually updated the site sometime Saturday night but I missed most of it.

had orge battle 64 in cart ready to check out and POOF out of my cart it goes again. and for the 11th time they had Orgebattle for the snes but it wouldnt add to cart..... I would jump on the lunar game but i got it for 8 bucks complete locally
 
Valkyrie Profile was in stock but went OOS even before the update was complete.

That's fantastic...it's a good thing they just cancelled my VP order telling me they "would not get any back in stock" and then they promptly repost it on the site the next day. fucking wonderful.
 
Just like many of you, my orders for AtL and Lunar2 (both new) were just cancelled this morning. What bugs me is that I called them on Friday and asked what was going on with both of those orders and was told by the phone rep that they were still expecting to fill those orders. I don't know what changed from Friday afternoon to Monday morning.

Anyway, my wife has been yelling at me for spending so much money on games as it is. Another $100+ would have gotten me in bigger trouble :lol:

Best thing you can do is call, the rep will probably put you on the "preorder" list for the game for when they get some in stock. I don't know if you can use coupons on the phone or not though, that might be a problem.

i just called and they said they can not put you on a preorder list for a used game (Orge battle came in again for around the 20th time in the last 2 weeks and wouldnt add to cart)

I think that varies depending on which CSR you get, its been done before. But if they've made a policy of not doing that anymore, thats good news for us, since the deals will actually appear on the site and not be tied up in waiting lists for all eternity.
 
is Kartia a one disc game or 2 .... i just got the game today and it came in a double case no book no box and the cd is messed up pretty bad. I needed to know if the game is a 1 disc game or 2 before i take it back. Also if its 1 disc why the double box
 
Kartia is 1 disc. There are a number of PS games (mostly RPGs) that are just 1 disc in a double-disc box - Wild Arms, Suikoden, Legend of Legaia, etc. Not sure why.

Usually the reason for that is a thick manual. Notice that those games are all RPGs, which tend to have lengthy manuals that won't fit in a standard jewel case.

Other notable double disc boxed games that only contain one disc are Grant Turismo and Syphon Filter 3 off the top of my head. Suikoden is indeed one disc.


Also are you sure that Wild Arms is in a double disc case? I have seen it at three stores and it has always been a single disc jewel case. And yes the manual is massive but it fits.

Wild Arms 1 originally shipped in a double disc jewel case but I have seen it lately (in EB stores) in the condition you described.
 
I don't know where else to post this, so I'll post here.

I've been ordering a lot of SNES games recently from eb and most of them come in pretty good physical condition. However, I receive about 1/4 of them in HORRIBLE shape. Does anyone know if I can contact eb and send these back for better copies? It usually takes a long time for eb to get back to me, so I figure I can save time asking here. :wink:
 
Could there have been one batch issued with the double disc box and another with the single jewel case?

I have only seen it in the single case 4 or 5 times.

Recently I saw Wild Arms 1 in a double case at Gamestop. Can't take pictures, cause when I was back for B2G1F it was gone.
 
I bought Wild Arms when it 1st came out & it came in a double case. I would guess that they did reprints of it later that came in a single jewel case.

yeah, but VS had the third Square collector's disc. my WA comes in a 2-disc case, but i think WA2 is in a single disc case. maybe not.
 
This is rather annoying. Every single Wild Arms that I have seen comes in a single case. Yet now I find tha it is was released in a double disk box. Could it be that the one I got is from a double disk box but only with the manual. From the looks of mine, it looks like it came in its original packaging.

Nobody knows if indeed they did a re-release of the game in a regular jewel case? maybe some news article from a while back?
 
I don't think you'll find any news articles about it, because it wasn't very newsworthy. Just know that First Printing = Double Case, Later Printings: Single.

WA2 is also a double case, I have it.
 
they had a few other things that sold out very fast, mega man 1 and 3, Shadowrun (snes), and Ultima: false Prophet (snes)
