Nah, Punqsux. They're unified in thier hatred for me now :)

By the way.. listen to Scorch about the game. It's quite fun... and for the amount they're selling it for, you'd be silly not to buy it.

Scorch I ordered over 15 snes games from them and they never come in a box. They always come in a sealed baggy thing with cardboard on top that says preplayed game. The ones they use to hand old school games to save space.

So don't waste time ordering hoping to get a boxed copy.

Just a heads up

Thanks for the heads up. That's a shame, though. I know my local GameCrazy literally throws away boxes.. i'm going to start trying to pick up old NES, SNES and Genesis game boxes and cases from them. It's not a corporate policy, it's more of a "storage space" issue.
scorch i took your advice and picked up a copy. better be good.
Or what? You'll.. throw it in free as a 'thanks' for those 4 for 1 trades? :D

lol.. jsut kidding. It's one of my favorite games of all time. You'll love it. Man, that's a good game. It's a shame the only time I can play it is via rom since my brother has my cart and the SNES. The jerk.

But seriously, it's still in stock.

BUY! BUY BUY BUY! It's such a freaking great game, and I can't believe it's only $5.99, that's insane. I think I bought it for $20 or $25 back in the day. It's a blockbuster preowned, but it works, and that's all that matters to me (for SNES games, anyways). I love this game more than Chrono Trigger, especially the music on it. Oh, such a good game. I think I want to go listen to the soundtrack now.

Thanks dafoomie. That's a good deal on Dragon Warrior I&II, so I picked it up.

And thanks supermariomelee for posting games as well. Classic BOGO may be gone, but with CAG15 and an Edge card, the prices drop down to or below the eBay prices, so they're still decent deals.
...BUY ILLUSION OF GAIA! NOW!!!!!!!!
I'd like to take this opportunity to recommend Soul Blazer, the first game in the pseudo-trilogy of Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma (never released in the U.S.). It's a great action-RPG by Enix. It's not in stock at EBgames right now, but if you ever find a copy, pick it up.

Yeah gamecrazy are starting to get worse by day. I remember not too long ago I visited a local gamecrazy (have them all over) and saw a mint copy of Bangai-O for DC on the shelf. I also noticed a mint copy of Metal Slug X as well. So I figure I'll go back on the B1G1 day to save a little money. Those games are pretty tough to find, or at least Bangai-O is. Either way you will pay an arm and a leg if you find them.

Anyway I go back after two days only to find out that they decided to throw away all boxes and manuals and put all their games in little sleeves. Needless to say I didn't buy them. I just ended up grabbing two copies of Mario RPG for my and my friend.

So what I'm trying to say is .. gamecrazy is getting worse and worse. Back a few months ago they were the best store I ever been two. Especially since that special order thing. I could order any game and specify the condition I want and I get them in no time. Now when I try to do the same thing they send me a scrathed up to hell copy 2 months late.

I trust you scorch, your good peoples... with all these people talking about this i'm actually really excited to play it. Sounds awesome.

For anyone interested, I have Tales of Destiny 2, used, but in great shape. Still has the instruction manual, as well. Grabbed this at EB ages ago when they still wanted 45$ for it PP. Frist 28$ (w/USPS Priority Shipping) dropped via paypal to [email protected] takes it. I hate running through those damn auctions. Also, that XboX Exhibition disk- the ones with the full Cap-v-SNK on there resell very well on eBay, for those who have the patience.

I was finnnnnnnnally able to pick up DW I&II for a reasonable price. Thanks dafoomie!

Illusion of Gaia- $5.99(it's a pretty good zelda-style game)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/118474.asp
BUY THIS GAME OR I'LL SUE YOU ALL OR SOMETHING!!!!!!!!

This is one of my absolute all time favorite games.. EVER. Do EB games come with boxes!? I'm tempted to order another copy just to see if it comes with a box. This, along with FF2, FF3, Chrono Tigger, and Earthbound.. those five games make the SNES the best system ever.

BUY ILLUSION OF GAIA! NOW!!!!!!!!

I am coming back in two or three hours. I fully expect it to be sold out.

BUY IT. NOW. NOW!
Well, it's now sold out. When I posted it this morning, there were only 3 available.

Wonder when they're gonna get some used MGS 3 games in? I'm waiting to get one of those, even though I'm positive its well worth $50, I'd like to get it for $33 or whatever.
sweet i'm glad i picked up IoG a while ago during clscbogo

and i've been waiting forever to pick up skygunner, great find
I love Skygunner. A good game indeed. Congrats!

Generally a lurker, old school video game collector (although I am too poor lately to buy much, and too busy to play much).

Too late for DW I & II. Look like they are gone. :(

I recommend Illusion of Gaia too...good game ala Zelda format (puzzles, moderate action, quasi action-rpg).

Nope, EB Games cart games seldom come with boxes or instructions, especially the cardboard SNES style boxes. I'm sure it'll be just cart only.

I can sympathize with all of the Gamecrazy haters. I'm starting to hate them too. One store near me that used to be good has now started to throw away all of the manuals that come with their games excluding this gen's stuff. It's really sad. I don't understand why they would do this. If it's for space, than they should clearance stuff out more often and I don't think it is for space since they keep the cases. I don't think they understand what they are doing the Gamecrazy corporate people. Don't they understand that what they are doing is sacriligious to the games!!!???!!

Give it some time, except for San Andreas, they take a couple weeks to get used copies in. San Andreas was there used in under a week though. Never a reason to pay $50 for a new release when they're almost always available used for $33 within a couple weeks.

Speaking of Metal Gear Solid...

I want to get this. Is it a good game (as in worth 8 dollars with coupons)?

actually no.. it's kinda like metal gear 2 on NES, truly terrible. However, for the sake of being a collector, I'd get it.

I concur. Most of my local Gamecrazy's are doing this too. F them.

I can't resist it then. Also, it got a very high score at gamerankings.com so maybe it's not THAT bad.

I really wanted to buy Illusion of Gaia, but a long time ago, my Super Nintendo stopped powering on. What could be wrong with it? The power adapter? Or something inside shortcircuited or something? :(

I have passed up on a lot of classic SNES games because of this. I guess I may pick one up at eBay, but they are so expensive...

Edit: Also, my Silouette Mirage came in the mail a couple of days ago (incomplete of course). The game is really weird but pretty fun. It's like a mixture of Contra + Sonic the Hedgehog + Ikaruga (?). Good stuff.
what coupons for eb?
CAG15 - 15% off used games and DVDs
CAG16 - 16% off $50 of used games and DVDs
SAVER - free EB Saver shipping on used games and DVDs

CAG15 and SAVER can be used together

There are more on the CAG front page (on the right side, about 1/3 of the way down).
there are none for any of the games you listed
The games that are listed in this thread each day tend to be rare games that sell out fast. You have to be quick in grabbing these games in the mornings when EB puts them on the website; a lot of times there's only one copy of a particular game. EB tends to update the stock on its website between 7am and 10am EST, so check back each morning to see what's in stock. If you see a rare game posted in here or on the EB website, grab it fast, before they sell out.

Illusion of Gaia was a good game a real sleeper hit IMO. I bought it when it came out at Electronic Boutique (EBgames) & it came with a T-Shirt. I went though the whole game & missed 1 Red Jewel so I never got to play the secret level & AFAIK I don't think you could go back for any red jewels you missed :(
umm did i just think i saw the update and not, or did they put up nothing good today?
I thought I did too, cause there were a few $1 SNES games a minute ago and now they're back to $5.

I don't think they updated yet. I've been checking and it's the same stuff. They still have some good stuff left from yesterday but without the bogo they are not hot deals.

No they definately updated, I watched quantities for snes games go down to 6, then back up. Perhaps there will be another update?

I am up anyway playing online poker. Usually up at this time anyway so what they hey .. doesnt hurt to refresh a page a few times :)
