Secret of Evermore is around a lot, you should see it back within a few days.
And gone within minutes of the update . . . it is getting harder to buy stuff on ebgames.com . . . knowledge of good deals is getting out very fast.

eb needs to change the way items go out of stock. They shouldnt removed them they should just put like sold out so you can still see if there are any of the games in the local stores

no. gamestop has this and its a terrible burden trying to find an in stock item.

How are the conditions of some of the SNES games you guys have ordered in the past from EB? Torn labels? Marks? anything like that? What can I expect?

I've ordered a lot of SNES games and I would say 80% of them have come in really good condition, maybe an occassional dirt smudge. The remaining ones had a mix of torn labels, burn marks (maybe cigarette?), and other stray problems. What I normally do is order 2 of a game then take one copy back to the local store.

Yeah it's a terrible burden seeing backorder and then having to scroll down half an inch to the next item. It's been suggested hundreds of times for ebgames.com to keep games up so you can track them in B&M stores but I don't see that happening soon. It might just be too hard for their web page designers.

try browsing gamestops ps1 games at least 50% are oos and just taking up space.
man that was an awesome update today, i missed out on everything....
Ditto. I got to work late, and by the time I checked, everything good was already gone. There were at least four games in there that I would have picked up. Oh well, the early bird and all that...

I still like the option of being able to see if any local B&M Gamestops have it in. I look by title though, it sounds like you browse which I understand makes it a lot worse for you. Sorry for sounding like a jerk, but I still stand by my point of liking it listed.

This is great, the morning update finally got stickied. yay. now it will be easier instead of having to look sometimes a page or so back to find it.
Can saver be used when buying Steel Battalion?
Yep. I used CAG16, SAVER, and my EB card. I thought I read that there was a better coupon combo but I couldn't figure it out and finally just bought the thing. $111 on a video game seems ridiculous.

If I had the cash to throw down, I'd buy it, instead I'll just borrow my room-mates.
I want this so much! Must...resist...buying!
Don't blame you. Maybe it will go through another price drop... one can always hope.
That's what I am counting on! :D

Yeah, I thought it should be. Thanks dafoomie for always updating this.

Some people are spending more than that on a sealed copy of RE2. I don't think there is a better coupon combo than the one you used.

Missed most of it, but Power Stone 2 was in stock.

Also, I thought I'd mention, these things are a great deal. Its an 8 pack of GB/GBA plastic cases, can hold 1 GB/GBC game or 2 GBA games, its made for either and will hold either securely. Only $3.41. I already have one and I'm probably going to order 3 more packs. Works out to 42 cents for each case.

Ah shit, I didn't realize that. Could have saved a buck.

Well, since you can't use free shipping with bigsale, you'd have to order a few of them for it to be worth it. And it certainly would be, I think I'll order 3 or 4 right now.

Does anyone know where the list of BIGSALE items is?

i got 10 of these cases back in oct. Seems you can order allyou want now (was limit 10 back then)

Seems like they had nothing new today

The limit is 100, they must have tons and tons of these.

I think I'll order 4, since I already have one pack, it'll make an even 40 cases. I bet they'd sell more of these if they'd advertise that they're designed to also hold two GBA games perfectly.

These cases are great. I maxed out the limit (10) when I ordered some around Xmas. I didn't realize they lifted the limit, so I'm glad you posted them. Might just have to get a few more.

I finally received my package that was supposed to contain the PO Final Fantasy XI with HD today in the mail. Imagine my shock because the game was in a regular sized bubble envelope, which sure as hell did not contain the HD as promised.

Well imagine my shock even more as when I opened the package, I found the Final Fantasy XI expansion pack instead of the actual regular version of FFXI. Not only did I not get my deal, but by mailing me the wrong game, I have no way to return it locally.

Thank the lord that my local CC had some new FFXI packages still available, so the point is really moot. I promptly called EB and was told that I would be placed on backorder for the game and HD. Oh boy! I'll curb my enthusiasm for now :p

This might be a dumb question, but do we have a Gamestop.com one of these threads...? I love this thread, but it would be nice to have another one going for the times that Gamestop has random rare games in-stock...if there isn't one already.

Thanks OP for keeping on this! One of these days I will catch your update soon enough to get something good! ^_^

Gamestop doesn't restock at regular intervals, so its more difficult to do it for that. People usually just make their own threads about deals there. If its really good, I'll post it here.

Not much good today.

There was some good stuff today but it disappeared in less than a minute (Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Earthbound, Gunstar Heroes). I could of swore I had Gunstar Heroes in my cart and then it was gone. Oh well theres always tommarow.

So what time exactly does the inventory update occur?

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it.
