Update happens around 7-7:30 EST. If you are checking at 8, you're usually only getting the leftovers. There's often more than what gets listed here, but since many titles only get one copy, they are either bought by the person who finds them or get gone almost instantly.

you saved me 7.50 Didnt really need the game but when i saw it i was like OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO like around 10 of the other games i got sitting here : )
 
@#@$@#$ I had the perfect combo . . . $5 Hobbit with Out of this World (people were talking about this a few weeks ago . . . $2) It got pulled from my cart in check-out . . . this far after Update!!!

Actually, I didn't like OoTW that much . . . mostly mad because I'm wasting time now looking for something to add.

On the positive, I finally have use of the Hobbit penny guide . . . I actually traded a few of these in the past year . . . down to my last one.
 
I really should have gotten up earlier. I can't remember the last time Carnage Heart or Pocket Fighter were in stock. :whistle2:#
 
i usually just stalk the thread.. i usually get all the games i'm happy with from pawn shops and mom and pops around me. not too many games i just "have to have" right at the moment..
 
Same here. I check this thread whenever it gets updated, but my purchases on more of the "cheap" or new and 25% off variety. :) EB and Best Buy split my money. :)

carnage heart dont look like that good of a game is it. I had a chance to grab it but passed
 
Two interesting things . . . I decided on my Hobbit order to add Onimusha 2 ($7.99 PO) and then use a $10 Rewards code . . . so:

I called in just now to add other codes (usually do it the other way, EB codes then call in $10 code).

Anyway, first I asked to add SAVER and he said total was down to $3.23. So, I asked if he could add my Edge discount and he said "No (pause) that order has already left" or something, wouldn't do pplay15 either (didn't want to mention CAG on phone).

Seemed like a personal decision on his part, that's OK, I'm happy just to carve off $2.

Then I just got a pleasant surprise as my last week order, $5 new Getaway arrived in the and the PO GBA Ghouls and Ghosts ($6 ac) I added for shipping, came minty and complete!!!

Its a nice game, not graphically, but for what it is. You're programming a mech, basically. You don't control it, it just executes your program. I picked up a copy years ago.

Indeed. It's a great little game, but it is NOT for everyone. It's just plain hardcore...really, really complex.

I grabbed a mint and complete copy, with both manuals and both discs, at a local EB for $3 a while ago.

I have always wanted to play it, but couldn't bring myself to pay the $20+ (usually more) it was going for on eBay.

Plus at $2.40 shipped, I can't go wrong even if I end up hating the game. Now if it comes complete, I'll be overjoyed.

i just got one of my 2 ps2 robotech limited edtion today. Box was really messed up BUT I think this was brand new they sold as used (floor models)

Came with game and disc
All art cards and hologram card is there
Tshirt is in the plastic circle thingie sealed
sound track
and Dog tags

I hope the 2nd one i order tuesday comes just like this for my friend ..... Very cheap item

I can toss the Game soundtrack and Tee shirt as gifts since the T shirt is brand new

just think a game for myself and a free gift for someone for just 4 bucks shipped

it said box is empty (as a floor model game) but it has a 59.99 price tag on box

Oh, I played it too, a lot, and I actually liked it. Sure, it's far from SNK's best work, but I though it was a great game, for what it was.

Nice find on Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX. It isn't listed among the rest of the new PS1 games, for some reason, so I would never have noticed it, otherwise.

Anyway, going off-track, but among the customer reviews for Hoffman's is one of the more head-shakingly stupid things I've ever seen posted in them:
"I only have the demo and it seems great. Me and my friend are addicted. All i want to do is get the full version. Does anyone know where to find it????? please help

yeah ive been waiting for a while now....i have about $200 worth of games in my cart just waiting to be bought...but i refuse to buy them until they drop rumble roses back down to $9.99...if only eb knew :cry:
