Sigh, I've been at the beach since Sunday and just got back.

Looks like I missed some excitement with the codes and an amazing update this morning.

Also finally got Out of this World SNES $1.99 bc . . . had to wait a few weeks but people were buzzing about this game here and got me reinterested in it . . . had it back in the day but dumped (can't remember why I sold it but I got $10 for the cart at the time)

man, that's a helluva coincidence then - amazing penguin is also a jigsaw-like puzzle game, and i think it's made by atlus. crazy.

Everything in stock will go down to zero, then go back up. So say I'm looking at all SNES games, there'll be 218 in stock, then it'll go do to 200, etc. Then once everything hits zero, the number will start to go up again with what's in stock.
 
I came in to see what I missed before heading to work since I was running a little late today. Guess I'm still in time. Too bad I'll have to leave in about ten minutes anyway.

If only one could control time . . . or at least get these things to happen on your timetable. So often I sign on to see that an hour earlier I could have gotten in on something cool. Almost makes me want to be on CAG ALL THE TIME.

Wow, I can't believe nothing happened yet. Usually I'm just on cleanup crew if I don't log in from home and only check once I arrive at work.

If you email EBgames about the price drop, sometimes,they will refund the differnce. I doesn't hurt to try.

A NOTE FOR ALL WHO BOUIGHT GAMES ON 6/28:

That was the day EB was struggling with the "SAVER" issue. This morning I looked at my order that I bought that day using Saver and other codes and when I checked out it said I got free shipping, but upon looking at my order history they charged me $5.00 for shipping. I called them up and they removed it. I suggest everyone looks to make sure you were not overcharged.

Every time a game has dropped in price, I've called them up and gotten credited the difference. I think it's a 30 day limit, not sure.

yeah you have about amount of time to return it to the store so you could just return it an order it online for cheaper i suppose or they'll probably jsut give you the difference.
 
I've only been watching EB since the start of this calendar year, but I don't remember ever seeing an entirely update-free morning. Anyone care to weigh in? Have they ever spontaneously updated at noon instead?

I remember them updating late sometime last year. I remember the psone section getting a huge update with titles like Tactics Ogre: LuCT. 9 copies of that bad boy went OOS in 10 minutes.

Latest we've seen this year would be about 9am Eastern (an hour ago)

Particularly odd because the update had been drifting later and later but was very early yesterday.

I must be bad luck or something. The first time I check the updates and it doesnt happen. Oh well ... I should really try to curb my spending on games anyway.
