i know its been talked about and talked about.. but ok.. for the replay value (since you have to earn points to unlock everything) then ok.. but the controls suck and unresponsive.. and i've played it on three different tvs and i cant get the picture right its like its putting out a bigger picture then it should so i can't fully see the special bars at the bottom or information and the extreme left and right of the screen.. it could be my xbox but if it is, it only does this crap on this one game..

yeah.. its fun to mix Capcom characters with Marvel Characters. and there will never be a bigger (in terms of playable characters and combinations) then MVC 2..

i just wouldn't pay 40 for it.. 30 maybe.. (i got mine for 15).. but yeah.
I've owned and played both the Xbox and PS2 version and i agree with you that the controls suck for the Xbox version. It's kind of hard to play any fighting game with the xbox controller, especially with the d-pad kind of low. MvC 2 was definitly made for the PS2 controller.
the game is alright.. but it doesn't justify a risk to get a crap scratched up incomplete version.. if it was Energitz maybe.. heh.
Isn't einhander the rarer of the two games? Ehrgeiz is available at gamestop.com for only $23 where Einhander is out of stock at $33.

How do in-store returns of games purchased online work?

I ordered Gameboy Donkey Kong from eb.com and the label is 1/3 ripped so I'd like to return it. Do I just take it and the receipt to my local EBGames and say "Here!"?
Can anyone tell me how often the PO PS2 Component Cables come back in stock?
Well, I've never seen them B&M. However, you can occasionally catch them Open Boxed at BB, or Green Tagged at TRU. They were ~$15 last year at TRU.

I know this doesn't really answer your question but you might also want to check GameRush. I picked up a pair of Sony and Monster brand component cables for about $8 each. I'm not sure if this is cheaper than EB though.

On even more of a side note, your link to your tradelist kept redirecting me to the main page. Just FYI

Tell them it dosen't work after playing it for around 30 minutes... no way they'll have a chance to sit there and actually play it for 30 minutes to verify it.

You don't need to lie, as long as you have your receipt/pack-in slip and its within 30 days theres no problem in making a return. They'll most likely ask you if there was a problem and you just let them know you don't like the condition its in.
Ergheiz? That game was available at my BB for $3. Is it rare or something?
I am guessing you mean BlockBuster, not BestBuy? It is easily worth $3.

I've only seen them in stock twice (and the first time there was only one of them, which I purchased =p).

How are the controls 'unresponsive'? They're actually better than most of the fighting games i've played.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/229248.asp

Someone buy it already! Its honestly the best fighting game I have ever played.

They're just talking about the Xbox controller. Honestly, neither the PS2 or Xbox controller is any good for 2d fighters.

Whoops. I like using the Nuby Tech SF controllers for 2D fighting games.

Best controller for 2d fighters (and my favorite in general) is the Saturn controller. I have another thread going asking if there are any deals out there for the PS2 version.
the game is alright.. but it doesn't justify a risk to get a crap scratched up incomplete version.. if it was Energitz maybe.. heh.
Actually IMPO Einhander is much more than just alright. I love the game. It's one of the best done Shmups I've ever had the joy to play. I take it over Ehrgeiz anyday.

must had an old cookie my ps went from 674 to 752 thought they updated

thanks

werid now its back to 674

why do i think the update will be around 734 est today : )
Suikoden 4 is in stock at $26.99 b/c. One left
its been that price for awhile. I almost got one 2 weeks back

the cart somehow lost all my codes and is taking literal minutes to reaccept them! grr! I've never experienced this much lag on the site before.

awwww, after 10 minutes of sitting and waiting to check out, I finally lost magi-nation. oh well, guess I've got another 2 weeks of looking for that game (and thus being late to work) to look forward to!! man, these late updates might just break my eb addiction.
I was typing my EB Edge card number/credit card number as fast as I could...haha.
The site started to load slow just as I was confirming my address. It was internet tug of war!

It was going fast, and then slowed to a crawl just recently.

Is Breath Of Fire: Dragon Quarter worth the $8 gamble? I'm not sure if I want to get it..

Lufia II was in stock for a second, but I didn't get a chance to add it to my cart.

Burgertime (NES) was also in stock, but was stolen from my cart between the time when I filled out credit card information and pressed proceed to checkout.

They had some NES games they don't usually:
Adventure Island - $5.99

Had Adventure Island II, but it's gone now.

Adventures of Lolo - $5.99

Had Adventures of Lolo II, but it's also gone now.

King's Quest V - $3.99

Sky Kid - $1.99
