That game never got released here.. I don't believe. $25 is way overpriced though.

According to IGN, here's the release stats for the GBC version:

Release Dates:
US: Unreleased
Japan: Unreleased
Europe: December 30, 1999

The N64 version is great however.. a lot cheaper too. (If you can find it)
I was about to say that it was released in Europe only.

Probably not the most common game in the world, someone might want it.
Snagged River City Ransom EX and Robopon for $18.04.

This is my third purchase in a week - I've gotta stop checking every morning!
It gets dangerous, you find yourself buying games that you will never play . . . but they're cheap . . .
I didn't see Lunar, AtL or Persona. I think it's because I'm using the PP links, rather than the general listing.

Good thing I was not looking to shop today. Internet went out for a while (thank you, inept sys admin!).
i go into Ps 1 softwere then click on rpgs then keep hitting refresh in the mornings since i mostly just grab ps1 rpgs
Is Suikoden usually in stock?
It's not rare to see it in stock. The $40 price tag coupled with the possibility of not getting it complete tends to keep it unsold. You can get a guaranteed complete copy off eBay or Half.com for what EB is asking.
Not to make Nightshade sell out faster, but it trades for $18 at FYE :D
bad thing almost everthing at FYE is overpriced

probally even cheaper on ebay. I had 2 that didnt sell in the last week. 1 was complete and 1 was box and game only and neither reached what ebgames wants for it. they didnt even reach 25

That's what people say, but I guess I never found that to be a problem... I got a new PS2 from them for about $40 by trading stuff in, a PSP for about $70, and I also made hundreds in cash once they started offering cash.

It's back in stock!!!

Sentient (PS1) $1.99 b/c

As I described it before, this is a throwback to text games of old like Zork, but set in a full 3D world. The pacing is deliberate, but the branching storylines, consequential decisions, and all around great gameplay are well worth the $1.50.

Also:

Galerians $3.99 b/c

This game took telekenetic abilities into the mainstream, defining a sub genre within action games (predecessor to such titles as Deus Ex, Psi Ops, Second Sight, Galerians: Ash).

And finally:

Blaze Dragons $3.99 b/c

Think old school LucasArts Indiana Jones adventure games style, but with Monty Python humor infused!! You play as a burnt out dinosaur in this comical cartoony adventure.

This game WAS released in the US, I was working for Funcoland at the time and I purchased it myself. Not that great, but that's neither here nor there.

Damn you! I almost got out of this morning without buying a game.

Question.

If you put Galerians into the search box, only Galerians: Ash comes up. Why doesn't it find the other Galerians, which is in stock?
I got nothing this morning.

Thanks 56k internet connection!
thats one reason i think im going to keep Comcast high speed. I mean is jumping this month from 29.99 to 42.95 but i figure if i can grab one game in a months time and be able to dump it off for around 10 more then i paid for it then it will pay for the services. i been doing that now for about the last 2 months (grabbing 1 game just to resell) last month was harvest moon for N64. rest of the games i end up keeping for myself. Stupid ebgames making me have a stack of unplayed games : )
Does anyone have an opinion of:

Prisoner of War (PC)?
I played the Xbox version a while back. It's a sort of odd cross between RE and Metal Gear. You have to interact with different prisoners and guards, acquire particular items (sometimes for bribes, sometimes for your own direct use), hatch an escape plan, then get out of POW camp. The dialogue can get a bit repetitive, but overall it was ok.

$3 is a pretty good price for it.

At this point I'd pay $50 a month for high speed, if only just for a few months (it's not cool trying to download 1 gig files over 56k). Alas, it's still not available in my area for reasons only God knows.

$1.99 or less

Quite a bit of stuff was overlooked. And for once I'm actually a little early today. Woo. Getting some actual stuff today. Anyway, here's what I've found that hasn't been posted or has but I'm bouncing it back upto the last page.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/173372.asp - Really just a fun game that doesn't come in too often and is very overlooked IMO.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/177478.asp - This one's back in.
anyone know why ebgames has pushed the updates back from 7am to around 730am
I bet they did it for all us West Coast CAGers. I feel so special now. Thank you EBGames.com:applause::D
Damn you people, yiou got me to break my solomn vow not to buy any more VGs till next month. Oh well $10 for 5 excellent (okay 3 excellent and 2 mediocre but extremly cheap) Genny games.

BTW I'd like to point out:

An excellent platformer, one f the best if not for the lack of a save or password feature.
Snagged the last one. Been waiting for this one for a while now, and i'm glad I got home from school early enough to pick it up.

Now if I can just get a copy of Gunstar Heroes i'll be happy.

Edit: Oh hell, looking back a few pages I see that Gunstar WAS in fact up today. Maybe next time I guess.

Agghh! I saw that this morning and I was very tempted but for some stupid reason I held off. You talked me into and I add it into my cart and put in all the codes and then when I proceeded to checkout it was gone!

I knew I shouldn't of waited.

Never wait. It is a race, in the case of EBgames morning updates.

Remember, it's only money. ;)

Yeah, I should of jumped on it. It's just that I saved? so much money because of spending $200 on games in the last two weeks.

It's pretty bad when I try to justify my spending by saying that I am actually saving money. And it's all CAG's fault.

Stop describing cool adventure games! At least neither were in stock when I saw this. Especially since my ps2 has been having issues with ps1 games.

I picked up a Pokemon Pinball last week...is it supposed to rumble or something with the battery in it? Mine didn't. I got 2 just in case something was wrong so could I still return 2 opened ones if they didnt work?

That is the irony of being a CAG. To save money, one must first spend it.

Check the battery in it first. I know I had to change mine not too long ago.

ahhhhhhhhhhhh! . . . I used my link to the used one only. I was off by the time it got posted here.

Man, that burns me.

Its really frusterating when a game keeps coming in stock and its out of stock by the time i've gotten up, i've been looking for magic pengel for such a cheap price but its always gone because I get up so late... Is it worth it to get up early for a game... hmmm....

Nope.. just wait :)

So here's a question. I'm going to naively assume that you're all getting these games to play them or collect them, and not to sell or trade them.

What precentage of games come in a condition that you're happy with, and what percentage do you dispose of (take back to EB B&M etc)?

I usually just watch the morning update, and not order anything. I'm curious to see if it's worth it, or if you just get a bunch of scratched up disk only games.

The discs of stuff that i've gotten have almost always came in really good shape. I usualy only order things that say it will be complete, on the times that i've gotten stuff that say "may include.." its been about a 50/50 chance. The only bad thing i've ever gotten from eb out of the dozens items ordered is pokemon pinball which is sticky and dosnt have a battery case, since I only payed like 1$ for it though I don't really care. The one thing you can expect however is an ass load of stickers on everything.

Of all my PP orders from EB, I have had one game arrive shattered, and two games arrive non-working. That's maybe a 1-2% failure rate. Now, I am not anal about having a crisp near mint never-been-played complete copy of most of the titles I order so I don't take any games back that aren't working.

I would say about 1 out of every 4 games (other than Xbox-PS2-GCN) I get from EB are complete. Lately I've gotten a fair number of half complete games, like a game with disc and box, but no manual, or a game with disc and manual in a generic case. Usually I expect to get disc only and that's what I end up with. No big deal if the game works. Although right now I'm debating taking Carnage Heart back...it arrived yesterday with only the game disc. There is supposed to be a tutorial disc as well.
