you call the store you want to pick it up at,, they need to call the store where the game is.. If the store that has the game just opened in the last 6 months they cant send stuff out.

also ask the price before ordering. I was sort of shocked the VP was 49.99 even though its 37.99 on web
ahh, i didn't know about the 6 month rule. and yeah i noticed the prices are higher in-store. i think suikoden ii is 50 on the site and 60 in-store.
I believe they can check the store comp and check the stock in other GSs.
i usually get both numbers and do all the work for them, that way one of the managers cant say they dont have the game. Sometimes they say the call but they dont. Now if you say I called the store and they are holding it for me BUT need to talk to a manager to get it shipped they seem to call faster

Yes, yes it is.
This was by far the weakest update........talk about ending the week on a high note
Yeah, I only bought one game this week.
The Post Office is going to think I moved!!
thanks, i picked up zombies ate my neighbors. always wanted to try that game.
Holy cow . . . Zombies is $5 bc! . . . I got one for $2 at Goodwill recently . . . but its all relative :) Its a very good game . . . actually pretty tough but good fun and they do a nice job of picking up the vibe of B-movies . . . completely different game but similar to the way War of the Monsters does.

Have you ever passed on a game and had it bother you? Of course you have . . .

Saw this on Mon. morning . . .

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/255930.asp

I believe its a used

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/255929.asp

but they weren't linked together . . . $30 bc or $22.50 ac . . .

I balked because $22 is too high . . . but because I can't rent DS games with my freebies at BB, I've been kicking myself for passing on it all week.

Got it this morning . . . considering I just got $50 credit by trading 4 games that cost me $15 (on Nascar 06) . . . this Kirby is like $7 out of pocket and my kids will love it.
Out of place, for sure, but is the Guncon 2 BC with Time Crisis 1?
Screw it, I'll get it anyhow. I just got an ole GC2 lying around and bnothing to play with it.

i have actually no idea what the game is about. i'm pretty much picking it up because of its reputation and low price (3.99 ac). worth the risk to me for 4 bucks. :)
ZAMN is damn good fun, especially the 2 player co-op. It had a sequal named Ghoul Patrol, but I've never been able to find it. I'm guessing it's uber-rare.
i just did a search for ghoul patrol on ebay and it showed up for 7 bucks. you might wanna try there.
Frick! I wanted Kirby Superstar. How much was it, out of curiousity?
last time i saw it it was 5.99 bc i believe..

Funny I bought it for $10 sealed at KBtoys in 1994 . . . then sold if for more ($15) in 1997ish.

Here is a screen shot:

http://www.vgmuseum.com/images/snes01/01/zombiesate.html

It's a shooter with puzzle elements with an isometric view. No save function but you get passwords . . .

Here's FAQ:

http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/snes/file/zombies_ate_my_neighbors_a.txt

I can't play these old-school games the way I used to, but with the net you can get good passwords to let you play all the levels. I mean this is a real old-school game. Now we get 10 hours of a movie-like game but then you got trial and error and hours upon hours of exploration.

The game deserves its rep but it is a hard game.
last time i saw it it was 5.99 bc i believe..
Well now I feel even worse. I suppose I need to haul my ass out of bed a little earlier.

If Kirby Superstar was $5.99 it is one of the best deals on the whole site. The game is absolutly awesome and is my favorite SNES game. There are like 4 differnt adventure games packed on this one cartridge + there are other Mini games. If you ever see this game you should buy it immediatly. The game is still a blast by today's standards.

sounds like a cool game. i look forward to trying it out.

Man, I check every single morning for Magi Nation (which I got once, but the post office lost) and Kirby Super Star, but my computer is wonky and I couldn't check from home today!! I definitely could have caught them. How very sad.

I'm gonna go start my day depressed now.
OMG WHAT A GREAT UPDATe

I FOUND LIKE

APE ESCAPE 2

AND LIKE

SOME RANDOM PSONE GAME

WOW

I'm going back to bed.
[SCORCH] You know what? I'm fucking tired of people being upset about the fucking update every fucking morning. They're not going to fucking have a fucking copy of fucking Rez, Suikoden 2, Tales of Destiny, Gitaroo Man, and Lunar every fucking morning so just fucking appreciate the fact that we have a whopping ONE fucking good website who provides us with tons of fucking cheap shit. Goddamit! [/SCORCH]

edit: By the way, that was in jest, but only slightly :D We really need to stop the whining and start appreciating the gems that can be found in these morning updates. I have personally doubled my collection at a fraction of the MSRP thanks to EB's website (and I worked there for 2 years.. the in-store deals then were rarely as good as the online deals are now).
it's 5.99 if the price hasn't changed of course.. that's how much i bought it for on the site a couple months back.
I got Kirby Superstar for that price a few months ago too . . .

I have to agree with psiufoxx2

The whiners who are only looking for high-profit PSX games or REZ should either stop coming or at least shut up :)

There are lots of cool games popping up and this is also the way to get the newer releases (like I did Kirby Canvas) at a discount.

The narrow focus on a few titles is bound to just cause frustration because it is also the most competitive.
sounds like a cool game. i look forward to trying it out.
I suggest trying it out with a friend, 2 player co-op is delightful fun.

C'est la vie - I got Lufia: The Legend Returns a month ago and it was DOA. I've looked for it every day since then.

So naturally, it showed up today, the one day that I'm late in getting to my PC at work. I managed to get halfway through the order process before it was pulled.

I did get Magi-Nation a few weeks ago. Haven't tried it yet, but if I don't like it, I'd be happy to pass it on to you.
