Thank you. The thread's already up to almost 250 posts...and less than a tenth of those are actual deals.

The rest is mostly complaints. And it's only been up for two days. There's definitely something wrong with that...

I would get it because I dumped it off back in the day (in 1997, I advertised SNES games in the newspaper and tons of people came by and bought them at the price I paid or more)

But I got it a few months ago at a Salvation Army store for 27 cents . . . no kidding. I found it without a price tag . . . thought they'd say $3 or more. Jaded clerk charged me 27 cents!

$7.50 is still a decent deal.

I love this game, but I have to say (shame facedly) this is the only game I owe that is much more fun using a Game Genie. There's a code that allows for unlimited weapon/item pickups that makes it much more fun, allowing you to play through all 60 levels or however many there are. Otherwise, it's a bit too hard.

Also, the password aren't too useful (without the Game Genie, at least), because you really need to stockpile weapons and keys from level to level. Starting on a later level with just the watergun is impossible.

I dont think its the merge thats affecting the updates, that wouldnt even affect it until it actually happened

This all depends on what people trade into ebgames or ebgames.com, if people arent trading in, then there isnt any merchandise to go around, its the end of summer and people arent thinking about video games, they are thinking about getting their kids ready for the next school year and finishing off the summer by doing outdoor stuff.

You know there's a problem when half the time everyone starts bitching how horrible the update was within 30 seconds of the it being done. Hell, I don't think I've ordered anything within 5 minutes of it being done. There's a lot to go through aside from the high-dollar-on-eBay stuff.

Just to let people know .. Grandia will probably be showing up on one of the updates shortly. I just returned my copy. Just be warned however that its gonna be disc only and dinged up slightly if its the same one.

Also, when I was in the store returning Grandia, I saw a copy of Sol Divide in the psx section. Is this a good game? Should I have bought it? I know its on the front page of this thread so it must be fairly decent.

No, they aren't too rare. I bought one at the Game Crazy $5.00 sale because they had a sticker on it for 20.00, so I thought I would get a great deal. You can get them off ebay for 5-10 without original box. Original box goes between 10-20.


Bust-A-Move 99 seems to be a better game though, as the arcade edition is just an arcade port. More options available with 99, so go with that.

That recently happened to me with two games (ones NES, the other SNES). I think it generally occurs when their wherehouse and their web site get out of sync. They may have mislabeled an item or scanned one into the database twice by accident or something like that.
