No, but there was a special edition PS2 that flopped in Japan that was called the PSX.
 
People call it PSX because that was the original abbreviation that everyone used for the original Playstation. It wasn't until PS2 and PSOne came out that we have a new abbreviation for the Playstation. Some people who were around for the old abbreviation are too used to calling it PSX and don't want to type it the new way. I'm one of the people who likes calling it by its original abbreviation. ;)

I'm amazed this topic is over 33 pages long and this "new thread" was created on 8/10 and yet about 10% of it is on topic.
 
im going to have to take my cousin kids to school now so i be lucky to be here this week today and weds. When the time changes i wont be here at all (since i have to leave at 630 and the update happens around 7

then again when the time does change the merger will be right around the corner.

i be lucky to be here now Monday weds and friday (since igot to run them Tues and thurs)
 
I just checked my orders and I have an order that's been backordered for a month now ( Broken Sword for the PSOne)............it sucks

man., I've saved so much money in the past 2 weeks............ I think I have enough to buy the Xbox 360 $400 version cause the updates have sucked so bad

Heh, I stumbled into having it in my cart before I even knew the update had happened. (Been away a week...thought maybe it had been in stock and no one had noticed.) Didn't bite though b/c I can't decide whether I really want it or not...it's hard to identify when you have "CAG fever" and are just buying b/c others are interested in it.
 
 
I've noticed that there a less and less people here for the morning update........... probably cause the updates have been so bad lately

Damn, woke up late, missed the update. I really wanted kirby :sad:

The days of scoring rare old games are gone, it had to happen sometime. However scoring rarier games for th current systems isn't out of the question.

The one thing worse than complaining, is people who complain about the complaining...

With that said, yes it is more difficult to see the updates on this thread, but I would blame it on the update itself. I have picked up several rare games in the past 2 weeks such as Chrono Trigger, FFIII, RAD, and MvC2, but I don't post them because they usually only have one in stock and I take them. Weeks ago, tons of things were being updated in the mornings so people had time to post all of the games. You barely see any updates anymore so you won't see too many posts about them, which then makes everyone elses posts seem more prominent.

I personally, like hearing people say, "weak update" because that tells me that I don't have to waste my time surfing Eb's website. If I had a choice to post Chrono Trigger for everyone to see, or buy the game, I'd buy the game. That's just me though.
