bump...

They weren't able to finish and since they don't work on the weekends it looks like they'll be back on Monday:roll:

I'm tempted to pre-order the game for PS3 so that I'll get the PC version too. When I get it we'll definitely be able to play co-op twztid ;) No problem there are several Targets near me and I usually go to one of them at least once a week.

Bump...

Thanks for the bumps everyone, I was busy putting everything back where it belongs. It seemed to take forever for the workmen to finish:roll:

bump.

i'm not trading goldeneye till we get a chance to play, lol. i still need to finish sp (which is amazing imho). if i only had a wii, this would be my fps of choice. Eurocom did a really good job (& i'm really glad it's not a rehash of the n64 version).

so are you still gonna play tomorrow? what time you think? you still have to put in my code in the game. you still have it?

Awesome, maybe we can play a few times before you trade it then.:whee:I'll post my response to your questions in your thread.

bump

im glad it worked out like that cuz i wasn't feeling well & slept all through Friday. did you enter the friend code? if so maybe we can play tomorrow sometime. i already have plans today & tonight, but beyong monday & tuesday, i can probably play on your schedule since i'm unemployed :(. lmk.

do you have games for windows live? or Raptr? if you send a message through GFWL, it should work like an XBL message where raptr picks it up & sends it to my laptop like an instant message. i use yahoo for my mail. i think they have instant messaging, too. same as my name here. i check CAG more then my email, lol. lastly, you can message me on psn. i check psn, XBL, CAG & email daily. that's about all the options i can think of.

im Central time zone, btw. thats 2 hours ahead of you, i believe. you'll be home about 5 - 5:30pm tomorrow? that's 7 - 7:30pm my time. i gotta get to bead EARLY tomorrow night, so the second you get home would be all i can do if that's the case. probably between 8am & 6pm pacific would be best for me. if you can play earlier, leave me a psn message. i always check that 1st, cuz i watch video podcasts i d/l on it while i eat breakfast. either way, we'll figure something out. worst case, i won't be selling the game for at least a week or 2, so we will play eventually, lol.

Yup you are 2 hours ahead of me, I meant after 5 P.M. on weekdays. I'm usually home on the weekends unless my friends want to hang out or if I'm on vacation. I needed to rush out to buy dinner or I would have been in trouble today... I totally forgot it was Valentine's Day:roll:

I usually use my PS3 for watching movies, too bad it doesn't have a visible message notification system like the Wii . So far I like the multiplayer for Goldeneye I'm using the gold controller but I'm tempted to try using the Wiimote as a light gun to see if I like that better. I'll leave a message in your trade list in a bit.
Hey OldSchool, lets hang out some time.
Sure thing, are you going to be in California anytime soon:whistle2:s?
Bump...

Goldeneye multiplayer is pretty fun, it reminds me a little of the original but of course with better graphics:lol: That one guy kept getting me with a grenade launcher but overall not bad for my very first Wii FPS game online. I need to play more to unlock some more powerful weapons and to input that code that came with the game to see what it's for. The Wii messaging system definitely could use some improvement, never had to exit a game to get a message before:roll:
it just erased my whole f'ing post. today is NOT my day. if i were ever gonna mortally wound someone, tod...nevermind.

okay...yeah the mp was really cool. i liked the 2nd match best where we were the russians in the blown out bldg. this was my 1st online wii experience, as well. it SUCKS that there is NO WAY to communicate during a game on wii. i hope being on the same team was cool. some people like playing against each other.

i wanted to vary things up, play some of each type, but i couldn't exit between matches without leaving the party. that should be fixed. we shouldn't have to disband, switch match types, then rejoin. i was wanting to let you lead, but it gave me so much grief trying to connect to you, i just took what we got, lol. also, i was playing with the wiimote & nunchuck & still puttin to 'em. i tried the gold controller & didn't like it on single player (& i want it to be pristine so i can sell it). i wanted the full experience, since i can play w/ a controller on the other systems (& that is the reason i bought the wii). bad choice, though. i was so tempted to use the controller after the 1st few minutes, then i got used to it.

really great game. yeah, you & i had the lvl 1 weapons & stuck it to the higher ranked guys. you should have a few unlocks if you check later. we should have won those last 2 games. we were mopping them up it seemed. oh well. anytime you want to play, let me know. weekends would be great. i had fun.

yeah the ps3 messages are hard to spot unless you look for them. that, and with lots of friends signing in & out i tend to ignore the messages, so i'll miss the notification. i accepted GFWL request, so it SHOULD be just like getting an XBL message, which raptr sends right to my ancient laptop if i'm not on my 360. if not on CAG, mssg me there or on psn if you ever want to play again (especially UC2, lol). i get in certain gaming moods, so i might not feel like it, but that's rare. thanks again. i've got a mic on ps3, but not sure it works outside games like on the 360 (cuz it's much easier to say all this stuff than type it out, cuz i'm a pecker.....wait, that didn't sound right. you get my meaning - & it's a single meaning, lol). later, bud.
Bump...

I just started playing BF: BC2 on Steam recently, I'm just curious if there as many hackers on the console version as there are on the PC version? So far out of 7 games a little bit over half seemed to be cheating, either that or emptying a clip into someone's head from behind isn't enough to kill them:roll:
i play BFBC2 on almost a daily basis (lots on Vietnam) & there are some cheaters on 360, but we report them when they do blatant stuff (like glitching 4 choppers on a 1 or 2 chopper map in Vietnam), so it's cutting down on it i think. it's also almost never a 12 on 12 game, so that may be why. i LOVE that game, but probably about 10-20% could be cheating; like the people you mentioned, 1 shot killing you when it takes you a whole clip to kill that same person with the same weapon & perks. alot factors into that, but i'm aware of those factors & take them into account (like body armor, magnum ammo, recent fights that could lower health, etc). sucks there is no cross platform cuz i have a great friend i play with, and he and i, you and 5of9 could start a tight little squad.

apart from the cheating, what do you think of it? it's my favorite online fps, second to halo reach. oh yeah, bump.

Thanks for the bumps everyone ;)

I like the game so far, the only drawback has been the cheating/ poor gamesmanship. If the game was one shot kills I would be happy with that since it would be more realistic, I don't think a shotgun could ever destroy a tank in real life:headache: The thing that really annoyed me though was the spawn point camping. The first map I was playing involved parachuting in and I kept getting sniped before I could even land. Only afterwards did I figure out that I could select a different spawn point :bomb:

Free help when I'm gaming is supposed to be an abominable experience, I'll try and brush up on that:roll:

wow, thanks man. i don't think RDR was ever on sale there, though. i was wanting the Red Steel 2 w/ Wii motion plus bundle that was clearanced for like 12-14$, lol. thanks for the try, either way (it's the thought that counts). take care.

dude, i've never seen a guage destroy a tank on the consoles. you NEED to join a squad in that game. you spawn on your teammates, & that eliminates the spawn camping.

As far as multiplayer games go I've never seen a shotgun destroy any vehicle other than in MW2 and BF:BC2. I think it has to do with the modern generation of games being dumbed down, those perks make online gaming worthless unless you buy it when it releases and are able to play nonstop. I prefer the older gamestyle where everyone starts out with the same weapons and health and it doesn't take a million shots to kill someone.

i responded to your message in my thread, check it out
I'll post my reply in your thread then;).

Thanks for the bumps everyone. I'm going to be removing all the PC hardware and Halo stuff from my tradelist so if there's any interest make offers before next weekend (2/26/2011).

We had 3 days of 60 degree weather, then what was supposed to be a 2 inch snow turned into a 10 inch, dropped in 6 hrs, right at rush hr, No road crew(bastards got Pres. day off), nightmare.

Kill Phill bump.

Bump...

Two days to go before the PC and Halo stuff is gone. I was able to find all the Mcfarlane Halo Reach Noble Team figures and The Halo Reach Legendary edition game at a GameStop that wasn't to far away from where I live ;)

bump

i never read much of the new TOS on psn. i wish it would tell what is new, cuz i did speed read through the originals. do you remember what exactly made you think they are trying to do away with gameshares? i was just going to look into how to get that going cuz i have lots of stuff for games i don't even own & it'd be great to swap shares w/ someone who has stuff i would like to try (or even make some $ of of sharing). i just thought it was something people did with close friends. i certainly don't want to give my password up, but i have an EU acct that i could share with, then use that acct to give out the password & whatnot.

also, why are you taking down the halo stuff? i can't afford any of it, but i was just curious (especially since you've had it up for a long while).

got it, thanks DBM.

hey oldschool, i read the new TOS and you're right. i don't know if its really ambiguous, or i'm just looking for a loophole since i was just gonna start doing this, lol. for friends, it'd be ok, but if you are like constantly making new accounts just for gameshares, and those accounts have users that sell of their shares after a while, than all that movement within the network is bound to get noticed (especially since they are actively looking for that activity now). it is not worth getting banned & losing all my trophies, psn+ games, etc, etc.

i could still share with a friend i trusted, but nothing worth making a profit (although i've spent like 100$ on sales of dlc so i might have decent amount of it, but others have like 200 games & sell shares for 175$ x 4 to make a decent profit after paying for the games in full). you really have to go into the gamesharing knowing that that's what you want to do, and make seperate acconts, so not to give out your main account info to complete strangers. oh well. thanks for the TOS heads up. i can never find just whats new in the TOS'. they need that section so people like me don't just skip it alltogether.

Back to Phil. they said his age this year on the news report and i think he was over 20 yrs old so i could indeed be the same Phil.
I still wanna choke him tho.

Thanks for the bumps everyone, I PM'ed you back utopian. Wow, that must be one tired and cranky groundhog if groundhog years are anything like dog years. I know I would be if everyone woke me up in my old age just to see if I would predict the weather. If you really want to see Phil die just watch groundhog day:lol:.

I would agree with you Megiddo if I had had any computer problems after recently building my current PC:booty:. I installed Service Pack 1 for Win7 64bit when it came out and I haven't had any problems so far, I was prompted to update my wireless network and graphics drivers at the same time. I haven't tried to play any of my older games recently but I read the update details and it was supposed to fix some compatibility issues.

And you wonder why I hate you.

man i write rants & essays on your page all the time. no need to worry about that.

yeah what you showed me certainly was not ambiguous, but that's not the part that i read. oh well. definitely not gonna try it now, because it's not worth losing psn access.

oh yeah, bump.
