Have you had any issues with steam lately? Trying to connect to TF2 all day and I couldn't play for more than 2 secs on any match without being kicked out for "not being able to connect to VAC's Steam Servers"
checked out some gameplay vids of singularity a new fps, im not sure if its on the pc but it looks pretty sweet, you should check it out
Thanks for the bumps, I've been to busy playing to get on CAG so I appreciate it. I do want Singularity but I haven't heard if it's coming to the PC.
SNES all sold out?
I only have one SNES game left and I took it off because no one had shown interest in it. The game was T2: The Arcade Game by the way

Yup, I've been having a few multiplayer connection issues and I couldn't play one of the games I just bought because they ran out of keys
haha, I am interested in killing floor, and a few others. Except, I have a backlog of pc games as it is, I am nowhere near playing half the pc games I own as it s let alone finishing the ones I started on: Penumbra, DA:O, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Those Steam games will probably on my trade list for a while so take your time. I'm in the same boat, I try to maintain a 30% game completion ratio so I have to finish at least a few games a month I have S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl but so far I've only tried multiplayer was the first game any good?
Dang, my laptop is a tad messed up now. First issue, can only connect to the internet with 64 bit ie. 32 bit programs that connect to the internet like steam couldn't connect even though I had internet. Flushed out my winsocks and tc ip and now I can't connect to the internet period.
Beat and traded gow.already lol. Never got to use the code.for.dlc sorry. Did get ff 13 and bioshock two for it along with some other stuff of mine.
Awesome, I'm glad to know that you were still able to get a good deal for GOW III. I hope it keeps it's value for a while since eventually I'll want to trade my copy too. I liked BioShock 2 so much that I actually bought it for both the PC and PS3, is FF13 any good?
Bump!
Computer Advice?

If you're running windows 7 can't you do a restore point and then restore from before you had the problem? What do you mean flushed winsock and tcpip? You didn't delete the winsock.dll or tcpip.dll did you? Check to see if these entries are still in your registry:
Whenever a PC acts up I tend to think that some settings or files were corrupted. Let me know if you still have those entries and then we'll go from there.
Hey now none of that Miami Heat fanboyism in Lakersville. Just kidding other than the recent championship games which I watched with a friend the last time I watched basketball I had a Jordan jersey on
I received your pm oldschol. I will respond back with what I am going to do. But to be honest, I think I will just do a clean install of 32bit win7. I don't like 64bit period, do you think that will solve my issue?
Oldschool, how is torchlight/kiling floor. Tell me!
Advice
64 bit is pointless right now, it has offered me more problems more than anything. I will do a clean install of 32bit windows 7. Also, I refuse to listen to your advice! Your desktop is a hybrid of the worst windows operating systems combined!
I really liked torchlight it became addicting after a while and killing floor reminds me of the old Wolfenstein/Doom games so they're perfect for me for multiplayer If you think the Win98/Vista hybrid desktop sounds bad you don't even want to know how I customized my Linux desktop. I grew up with Xtree and DOS so I prefer simple interfaces without huge icons for everything, and I hate things popping up or trying to auto complete stuff for me:lol:

You are correct, I don't even want to know how you customized your linux desktop. Big icons are bad, I don't like! I will let you know tommorow how everything goes. Which linux desktops have you tried?
last update for this week I have to go out of town and won't be back until next Monday.
Megiddo, I've used YellowDog linux, Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Tiny Linux, and I tried Red Hat for about a week but I didn't like it

Enjoy your trip.
haha, you picked the most hated linux distros ever. And to be honest, Ubuntu still sucks.
I used Ubuntu when I was a student so that works out then. I only had yellowdog linux on my PS3 since that was what was recommended, I used the other Linux Distro's on my older PC's to extend their lifespans a bit. I wanted to have the old DOS desktop feel for my old games but I didn't want to use them on a super slow PC that actually used DOS:lol:
What is it about dos games that bring you back? Also, do you play TF2 at all?
I only keep playing a few DOS games like DOOM, Alone in the Dark, X-Com, and most of the older LucasArts titles. I play them because they're fun and I like to see if I can still beat them. I just recently installed TF2 but I haven't played it yet, It's in my backlog of games to play after I beat the few games that I am currently playing
Thanks for the bump buffdrew84, I'll make sure to bump you back today. I was busy seeing movies and playing cards with some friends

Bump!
I will be frank with you oldschool, that doesn't sound like fun.
Uninstall it, I don't like TF2 anymore.
Do you have WAW? I have been playing that nonstop lately, although, punkbuster is bothering me, it keeps booting me out of games because of a program/driver? Any idea why?

Older games can be very fun if you like a challenge and prefer good strorylines over graphics, I did finally stop playing PONG and my Atari games a few years back though. I always play all the games that I buy eventually, I should be playing TF2 by this winter.
I never did buy World at War since I didn't know anyone that owned it and I don't really know anything about punkbuster since I only have a few games that use it. So far punkbuster hasn't given me any problems but then again I think that Modern Warfare 2 is the only punkbuster game that I've played online with.
