i worked 10:45-7:15 today and we were so busy it was almost closing before i got a chance to have "lunch". at that point i had some pretztle's and a can of sprite and some xmas cookies and said fuck it, i'll be home in an hour and a half.

I actually just mentioned this to cheeeeka this morning as a possible item to use those 800 magically appearing points on. ;)

Sounds like me, I left before 6am because of fog and snow and got to work at about 8am. (I almost rear-ended a semi cab at about 50 MPH, that's how foggy it was.) I sent my people home early, since there wasn't much for them to do and I was wrapped up in paperwork and asset management crap. My fuel of choice: coffee, Cherry Coke and the occasional smoke.

I got home, Juggers was sick, so I have been juggling him, laundry, dishes, bagging and taking out the trash, etc.

And since he isn't feeling well, I was letting him play his Power Rangers game, since he is just sitting on the floor, wrapped in a blanket and coughing and sniffling. He's been playing for six hours. I have to turn it off, but he feels so bad, and if this is taking his mind off of being sick, then I'll give him a few more minutes.

poor kid. being sick is the worst when you're that age. how's pixie doing? is she all healthy again?

You on the other hand, seem to get sick after playing games. So I can see wh you'd opt for sleep. :)

Lesson 1, get it hypnotized. if this fails, proceed to the next lesson.
Lesson 2, shoot for the head.
Lesson 3, use armor piercing rounds or electric shotgun shells and obey lesson 2.

She's still not feeling great, and her meds make her sleepy, so she's passed out.

He's like me though when I get sick - I can't stay in bed. I feel like I'm wasting the day away and can't sleep. (Hell, the day I had my surgery, I drove out that night to the gas station for cigarettes and soda. Scared the hell out of the attendent with my swollen face and bleeding-nose-stopped-up-with-tampons. :lol: )

I think I'm going to call it a night, too. AT least this is the last day before another long weekend.

I continue to beat them by pure luck. This one raped me so much that I had to get revived twice. My strategy right now involves setting them on fire and then rushing in and hitting them in the face with a shotgun...

If you have the grenade launcher...
fuckers are suckers for proximity mines -- set one or two, back up, peg 'em in the head with the pistol and when they a come a running... they'll have a nice surprise -- on top of that, you can start peppering them with the regular frag rounds... they don't like it.

but my best yet was having one follow me around with the hypnotize when i came across one with a li'l sister -- i made sure mine was solidly wackadoo and then boom, agitated the guardian one and watched the fireworks. ;)

Now if I could only figure out how to get in the area I'm supposed to be in. I also hope I haven't missed out on my opportunity to finish researching spider and nitro splicers...

Does anyone know how to set what AdAware ignores? I just scanned and it said it ignored some objects and I think I might've set some to ignore instead of delete. :/

Alternatively, are there any better spyware programs I should be using? I just have AdAware and AVG for security right now.

Ha ha. Dunno, I never paid attention to those health warnings in video game manuals and so forth. This has been a recent thing, but perhaps is only caused by the sheer size of the playing field, that being a 52" tv. I never have this problem playing for ages on my DS.
