On the next episode of GGT 242 find out who voices Snake in MGSV!
Heads up.

Today the Undead Labs guys will be showing off some gameplay of "State of Decay" on the Microsoft Studios Twitch channel around 11am PST / 2pm EST;

http://www.twitch.tv/microsoftstudios

Games supposedly coming out June 5th if it passes certification, but with "Summer of Arcade" around the corner MS might hold on to it until then.
I hope this is made by the same guys who did day z if not what a total rip off.

State of Decay was first announced in 2011 as a Xbox Live Arcade exclusive title originally titled Class 3.[12] Jeff Strain, the founder of ArenaNet and co-creator of World of Warcraft, wanted a game where individual players could make up their own zombie survival plans and put them to the test.[2][3][4] Thus, he set out to create a game which runs on CryEngine 3.[13] On May 16, 2013 Undead Labs announced that State of Decay had gone into the final certification process and is now ready for testing by the game's publisher, Microsoft Studios.[14] State of Decay was envisioned as a step towards Undead Labs' full online console game, Class4.[4] Class4 will be one of the first zombie massively multiplayer online games (MMOs) to come to the Xbox 360 and PC.
Most of the single-player EA games w/online passes and a couple of older MP ones had their online passes go free on 360 today.

yeah, and they will probably shut down the online server for it soon. lol
If you think MGS 2 has long cut scenes (which it doesn't) don't play MGS 4

Nice! My thread title got Spider-Man to post! But yeah, as GUNNM said....the cutscenes are only going to get longer :p Definitely still worth playing through them though.
That is actually my worry with 4, I won't have the option to pause mid cut-scene on the PS3 like I can on the Vita. I guess the last cutscene before the end boss in 2 could be considered somewhat of an ending but I swear it was at least 25 min plus. Either that or my attention span has diminished greatly. How long are 4s? I guess the short speed run totals should tip me off.

Cutscenes in 4 are much longer because in the previous MGS you got a lot of back story through the codec but in 4 they removed almost all codec dialogue and just put the storyline in cutscenes. So they're longer but they add info if you don't care about the story you can always skip them.

Ending to 2 wasn't confusing. Solidius wanted to nuke Manhattan to wipe out the A.I. to free the world from the control of the la-le-li-lu-lo obviously

Brofist.

I found some component cables and my PS2 finally looks good on the HDTV. SO much shit I want to replay now.

I grabbed Zelda Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons on the 3DS eshop--both are on sale for $4.99 apiece through June 20th.

I played through one on the GB Player for Gamecube years back--I think it was Ages, but I'm not sure. But never got around to playing much of the other one.
Yep, they just came out today.
Whelp, there goes $20. Bought a points card, because I want those games and Link's Awakening as well.

You forgot MM 1-6 on your list.

Had no idea link's awakening was coming out too. I gotta buy that fuck.
I'ma kickstart the shit out of Double Fine's SRPG.
They launched another one without haven't not followed up on the first yet?

Nah-uh, that's not how this works.

Now, I love Double Fine and have bought and enjoyed every game they've put out so far, but you have got to show some good faith with this crowdfunding shit. I'm sure they'll release Broken Age, but as one of the first major kickstarters, it NEEDS to be released just to prove that the whole process works. I mean, just fuckin wait, you know? Stop riding on the coattails of your fans. It kind of feels like abuse at this point where you haven't released the first product that you promised, it's the same damn thing with inXile. Prove you can made a decent game under these constraints, then go kickstarter crazy if you want.

Can't blame them too much though. They probably want to get in while the iron is hot and before they release Broken Age to a crowd with probably too high of expectations that aren't going to be happy with the product they get.

This is the road to ruin

And we're started at the end

Finished Duke Nukem Forever today. It doesn't make sense to say this, but it felt very rushed. Like they didn't have time to flesh out enemies/weapons/gameplay.

I enjoyed it for what it was though. Not many shooters have that style of gameplay anymore.

He forgot to mention that it's only a NEW game player.

Shit will play used games just as good at the new Xbox will. No doubt in my mind.
Used games are so last gen.

Not really setting a precedent with inXile double dipping. People didn't seem to have a problem with that.

Really, tho, development cycles for games are long enough that you got to have things going in the pipeline. Personally, Double Fine earns enough goodwill for me with the games they've made in the past.

At least they make entertaining pitch videos.
F2P games are the next big thing.
Yes, SWTOR is a huge success, and every game should follow its lead. Start out as a full priced game with a subscription required, then boom, F2P like a year later. Perfect.

Kinda like ubisoft games charge $60 on release and by the 3rd month and mediocre sales they drop it more than half
Blame the stores that need to make room for the new CoD.
You excited for Hayter being announced as Snake on 6/06?

WHERE WERE YOU ON 06/06.

My birthday is 06/05 this is kinda like Kojima giving me a present.
Duke Nukem Forever started on the Quake II engine. Think about that.
I know that's why I said it didn't really make sense to say it seemed rush. They actually included a neat timeline in the extra section which shows basic milestones (and when they decided to change engines etc).

Bingo, but instead of being half or more, it's just free.

Beyond Good and Evil still holds the title. Went from $50 to $10 in like 2 months. And given that it felt like half a game, it was the right price.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

I think it would've been awesome if it switched engines as you played. Like it would start off as Quake II, then slide over to Unreal 1, then Unreal 2, then finally Unreal 3.
I think I asked you that like two days ago.
In the last GGT? I'll go look for it after dinner and totally answer you

Oh I did answer you
''Its going to be nolan north he does like everything.

It'll kinda suck but I won't not buy MGS 5 because hayter isn't doing the voice unless of course MGS 5 is a next gen game.''
