why oh whyy would you guys buy this game?! You guys MUST be the type that buys EVERY RPG practically on release, right? I mean to buy this you must own Metroid, smash, mario, mario party 8, paper mario, cookin mama, zack and wiki, trauma center, + 30 more better games, right?
Just curious on the buying patterns of those who actually purchased this at full price.
I pretty much only play RPGs nowadays. Of those games you listed, I played SMG, Paper Mario, and Zack and Wiki and ended up selling them/trading them in because I didn't like them very much. I played Cooking Mama on DS and found myself bored really quick. I played Trauma Center on the DS and got frustrated at the shitty, unresponsive controls. I really, really dislike the Smash Bros series, and seriously, Mario Party? So I do try games other than RPGs, but I generally end up not liking them.
What the

is wrong with people having different tastes? Sounds like you won't even give this game a CHANCE, even though I have played it for the past two weekends and am having the best time I have ever had on the Wii. This is exactly the kind of RPG I have been waiting for. Seriously, guys, if you think you'll like this game, you WILL. It's quirky and niche, but in the hands of the right audience, such as me, it's pure gold. So, to update from my previous post from last week: I have played several more hours, and it still kicks ass. Hell, it's kicking even more ass now that I have a second party member other than Opoona. It makes the battles go much more smoothly and faster.
