Nah, I always take the Amazon gift cards. Works the same as cash for me.

Only reason I know the other trick works is that I saw some guy sending his kid behind the machine to pull the cable once. That shit was hilarious.

:applause:

Should I drive 45 minutes (hour and a half round trip) for a 160GB PS3 for $280 tomorrow?

It's starting to piss me off how I'm having such a hard time finding a decent deal on a PS3.

I was thinking of a used one, which i would think the warranty wouldn't transfer.

I was trying to agree with you that they were overpriced, but you had to be a smart ass.;)

What are you talking about? I'm always shittin' on dumb statements.

The warranty is on the unit itself, not on the owner.

I hope that coin order goes through.

It's been a day or two since the arcade sticks, and some have been canceled, so do y'all think we got on early enough?

Z.

No going to work for me today. Too much ice. :cold:

Good news for fans of 1up FM ... Cheapy says Nick, Philip Koller, and Anthony Gallagos are gonna create a new podcast (and maybe site?) called Rebel FM.

wolve, I've got a military question for you -- should i hit you with a PM?[/quote]

if you want, or you can ask here if it is something that might be entertaining to everyone.

I was just curious about standard PT schedules for a basic unit -- at least in boot camp, I guess? You know, like how many times per day/what comprises PT/etc.

boot camp? haha....
In boot camp you can expect a lot of physical fitness. Standard is every day at 0630 till about 0800. Now the type varies and it is going to be a run 3 out of 5 days during the week (in a regular unit, not Boot camp) and push-up/sit-ups during the other days. Now the Army's got a whole regulation on Physical Fitness and everything, but it has a few basic components that always get followed by regular Army people. It is more varied in Special Operations/Special Forces.
In Boot Camp you can expect to do Physical fitness in the morning and throughout the day as people seem to fuck something up and get the whole platoon having to do physical fitness. They usually go until you can't do any more push-ups anymore etc, but then again I keep hearing things have softened up a lot so it might not even be like that anymore. My Boot camp wasn't a fun experience because we had some racist fuck write "Go home $$$$$a slave" on some black dude's walllocker.
The Drill Sergeants, all black in my platoon, weren't too happy about that and we didn't get much sleep. They had dogs coming through our areas searching for contraband, they even had us brushing teeth in sync. It was ridiculous. But everyone's experience is different.

Why are you asking this? Are you thinking about joining? If so we need to have a long talk because certain early choices make a big difference about your life in the military.

Nah, I'm too old... and my job is somewhat stable, so I'm not going anywhere.
I was just trying to figure out some shit about how I want to modify my exercise schedule.
