How you likin' Uncharted, #eightythree?
I like it a lot. Best game on That Triple, IMO.

The story is enjoyable so far (I'm about 1/2 way done), if not a little campy which I like. Some of the puzzles are meh. The action is good and controls well. And the graphics and sound are top notch.

8.75/10
Does your wife game too? Or does she have a seperate hobby to occupy her while you're gaming?
Art is her thing. If it's co-op and not FPS, she'll join in.
Morning OTT

Crackdown is a pretty good game. I had played it for about an hour last week and didn't really get into it, but I gave it another shot and I'm liking it.

I'm not a big fan of how your skills level up, but I can deal with it I guess. Also I don't see any way I'm getting 1000 / 1000 on this one as I'm not collecting 500 orbs of one type and 300 of another. Sheesh.
When I sent Crackdown back through the Goozex pipeline, I had 499/500 agility orbs. I just couldn't bring myself to scour the city again.

NFS: Carbon is better than I thought it would be given the CAG reaction to it when it came out. I'm enjoying it so far (though the tedium of setting up a car specifically to drift is not something I'm looking forward to).

Did you know if you call the police to get information on geting a drug sniffing dog to sniff a car they automatically send someone out who are now suspicious.

But isn't that what you'd want them to do? :whistle2:/ Or are you saying it's too easy for some random dope to get cops crawling over your car for no reason?

Well i wasnt told not to get the cops involved. So i called to get information on getting some one out to have a dog sniff my grandfathers ex's car (which he owns). The guy we normally use didn't have a dog so he told me to call the sheriff's office, they said they would call me back and five minutes later the cops are knocking at the door.

Really? Partition Magic worked well for me. Haven't used it in a good while though.

Crackdown question: Are the agency cars supposed to have a gun you can fire? The controls have Fire weapon on them - but it looks like it points to the Start button to me.... :whistle2:/ Is that something that only works once you get 4 stars in driving or am I missing something?
Why do you want a dog to sniff your grandpa's car?

He been smokin' that green?
I don't know exactly but he wanted it done.

Drive is fine, but PM is being a douchebag saying something about partition error #105. This is only pertinent because I would like to create a secondary partition on the drive... not necessary, but it'd be nice.

From Wikipedia:

One of the notable focuses in this skill is the character's influence on three select agency cars, which change the vehicle in both terms of cosmetic appearance and power. These changes become drastic at the fourth level where each of the cars gains a unique trait, such as car mounted machine guns, the ability to jump, climb up walls and a large nitro boost that destroys most oncoming cars on contact.

Short Version: I forget which car it is, but one of them gets a gun when it gets leveled up.

ty. Guess I'll have to get up to level 4 then... Driving up walls sounds fun.
Have you tried GNUpartition frosty? At least I think that is what it is called.
I found an iso for something called GParted.
Shaving is the worst.
Shaving your legs won't impress us, sorry.

Though, yes, I agree, shaving is terrible. One thing I hate doing in the morning and something I skip on Sat & Sun.

Driving up walls for anything than a little bit was, imo, a pain in the ass to get the hang of. I never quite did and gave up trying. There are boat loads of YouTube videos on it though.

I went back and tweaked the settings at Frys on CoD4 they had running on the computer.

Holy crap, it blows the PS3/360 versions away.

I didn't think it was that pretty before because of low-rez and ugly textures, but the PC solves that.

Damn it looks good.
Sheeeit. I don't know what to think now.

HAHA! I laugh at your puny machines!

Actually I wish I had a copy of CoD 4 on a console.
Nah, only $2,500.

Guess I can't play Crysis or any other worthy game.

Darn! -kicks dirt-
You can probably get something that can handle Diablo for that.

I can't imagine shaving everyday. And since I don't use an electric razor, shaving everyday would probably cost me a small fortune in blades.

Call me cynical but I get the feeling that guy made the thread in the general gaming forum about his stuff being stolen is quite suspicious. The timing certainly is interesting after that story just came out last week (that was on all the gaming blogs) about how a guy on 1up posted about having his gaming stuff stolen and a bunch of people from the boards sent him free stuff. Granted, maybe the guy just wanted to share his story but I'm just curious about his motives.

I hate how it's gonna cost me a minimum 100 dollars to go to this American Academy of Forensic Sciences meeting in February, and that'without looking into any of the workshops or luncheons. Most of the workshops are $200! That's insane.

Are you going to want to eat at a thing like that? :puke:

Thats why I asked to see the police report before people start throwing 5-10 bucks his way.

The $$$$a could make a fortune off that, naw'meeeeeeeen?

I'm debating about making the switch from blades to an electric razor, as the cost of blades is in the realm of obscene.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

EDIT: Yay! A friend is gonna let me borrow a GC controller and memory card so I can play Killer7.

Also GTA is wayyyyyy overrated.
