OTT Poll: Which members of CAG are most likely to be on medication?

I know we have some cags in eastern PA. By chance, are any of you familiar with the York / Hanover / East Berlin area? I'll be moving most likely in a month and East Berlin is one of the choices (the other is Greencastle, PA which I'm actually familiar with as I'm only 45 minutes from there if that). Main reason I'm asking is I'm trying to figure out my job situation. I realize I can probably just do a store transfer, but I would like to know how much is around there in the retail area since that's probably all I would get hired for. No food industry though. The thought of that just...bugs me to say the least.

I fucking hate Ticketmaster. I bought a ticket to see Panic! at the Disco and fun. at the end of this month. $21.50 ticket, $9.00 convenience charge. $3.50 facility charge, not sure if that's Ticketmaster or not. Either way, fuck that. Even $9 on a $21.50 ticket is ridiculous.

It's most likely all ticketmaster. A friend and I bought tickets to the last game of the NBA regular season in DC last season. We figured the Wizards were shit so we bought the cheapest seats available and just slid down to the lower levels. Tickets were $12.50 and it ended up being just under $50 for two tickets. They charged a fee to print out my own tickets.

Forgot about the new South Park while watching NBA. I'll be watching Workaholics after. I'm ready for my "fear-rection".

Dont bother, that was one of the worst SP episodes I have ever watched. I dont think I chuckled during the entire episode.

South Park was way funnier this week than last.

If you call or email the arena's Ticketmaster customer service and let them know you want to purchase tickets without fees, they usually can send you an email link to bypass them.

Just noticed the poll results - not familiar with Iamthecheapestgamer. What his offense / lunacy? It's gotta be pretty good since he's handily beating the doll guy.

York, PA isn't too bad. It's quiet, but not rural by any stretch of the imagination, even with the Amish. The band Live is from there as well as Harley -Davidson Motorcycles. Little known fact: It once was the Capital of the United States.

Hanover is home to Snyder's of Hanover...they make the best pretzels, especially the thick ones. I beleive Utz Snacks is there too.

East Berlin is in Adams County, which is 'distressed'. They also have higher than average tornado activity in Pennsylvania.

Didn't really answer my question at all. I knew I wasn't crazy about the tornado thing though (my dad thought I was).

I know. ;) I'm just full of useless, and usually late, information.

But of all the three, your best bet would be York. It seems to be the most developed. Several people I work with or used to work with lived there. Don't think that will help much either.

Just my $.02.

Another slow work day for me.

At least CAG is up today.

Most of my ebay auctions are up - now I've got to ebay the rest of my friend's collection.

I wish Lucasarts would re-release all of the X-Wing and Tie Fighter games on Steam...I have a hankering to play the original Tie Fighter, but alas I cannot get it to run on Windows 7. Might have to look into DOSBOX.

Nope.

If I stayed with my dad, it would be East Berlin no question (as that's where his friend lives and we'd be moving in with them. But aside from Rutter's (which there's basically one every other block in York and surrounding area), I didn't think there was much there which is why I was wondering about York / Hanover / etc.

While I don't know about that area, I can comment on Eastern PA as a whole. Usually there is either like a city (small city) that has a Wal Mart which usually has a strip mall right next to it or an actual mall which has some retail stores close to it.

My best suggestion is to do google map searches for Malls because I have learned that where I live at least in eastern PA, all retail stores (like best buy) are right next to or very very close to malls. That will give you a better idea.

That $$$$a did his time.

They had a story on the local news the other day saying someone has bought Vick's old place where all the dog fighting occurred and they plan to make it into a kennel for mistreated dogs. I would think you would never want to take a dog near a house where the backyard is likely nothing but dog corpses.

Please, what time did he do for knowingly infecting young girls with herpes, without telling them, and taking his multi-million dollar ass down to bilk the free-clinic out of treatment with a fake name so no one would know it was him?
AKA the Adventures of Ron Mexico.

What time did he do for his two airport incidents, with the stolen rolex and the water bottle stash?

People act like that POS paid his debt to society and that he only just got his first second chance. That pricks had more second chances than any coddled NFL jackass I can think of. GTFO with that, dude should still be in prison and banned from the league.

I could give my point of view, but you wouldn't like it. Not like I expect to change anyone's opinion. Living in the area where it occurred and in the city where PETA's HQ is located, talking about Vick and not wanting him to fry is likely to get you slapped by every vegan in earshot. I do think he has been given preferential treatment in the NFL based on his performance as a player though.
South Park was way funnier this week than last.
Yup. But then again, last week was one of the worst ever.

I found it amusing... but I probably laughed more at Cartman's "fucking me" routine than anything else in the new season. Though I did like funnybot... neither of them were great episodes to me.

Staying up late one night to play something longer than usual means you forefit your chance to stay up and play something the next night. It's a zero-sum game.

I don't recommend that.

had google's image results filter off by default . . .
made the mistake of image searching: granny
. . . unfathomable horrors . . .
. . . gouging out eyes.

I wanted an image like this:
granny_clampett.jpg

I got XXX and Granny alright, unfortunately not the one I wanted, and what I saw cannot be unseen.

theres plenty of nfl stars that have done worse than vick and not served any time for it. ben rothisberger comes to mind.hell look at the list of celebs who have done worse and not served a drop of time.

vick did his bid and now hes free and hopefully staying clean but its funny how people focus on the one but ignore/forgive all the others.

I'm not ignoring or forgiving sh*t. If it comes down to celebrating Hines Wards mistaken arrest in LA over, Vick or Roethlisberger being arrested I'd still go with Vick. Granted Ben is POS himself, but I'm only aware of a few of his transgressions vs the string of crap we watched from Vick in ATL.

Let's not forget Vick's humbleness in the face of fan disgust, we love getting flipped off.

Hines is pretty much beloved around here, granted he's doing DWTS, but damn man where's that hate coming from?

Sitting here on my pc I just saw one of my neighbors from around the corner walk towards my back yard. He obviously saw me through the window and stepped out of sight immediately. I don't know wtf he wanted but I'm inclined to go stand in his back yard later tonight. fucking creepy old man.
Justified is officially on the level of Sons of Anarchy and is just a few steps away from The Wire level.
justified is one of the best damn shows on tv. the new seasons kinda started slow imo but holy shit what an ending. im gonna miss it until next year but im glad rescue me is coming back and during the fall a new season of the misfits. and of course game of thrones is awesome.

the wire was an great series but it was too real for me and because of that hard to watch. whoever wrote that show had way too much insight.
Glad to see others liked justified as much as I did.
how can you not like a show starring timothy olyphant? the gusy one of the best actors out there he killed in deadwood and he owns in justified but much like deadwood hes not the only person who makes it worth watching. the cast for the show makes it worth watching and i like how they portray southerners theyre all belivable unlike true blood ( mind you i like trueblood but their accents are horrible).

its the little details in justified that stand out and make it enjoyable its one of the few shows on tv i dont nitpick becasuse of stupid shit.
