Free PS Plus for a month will be nice, it will give me a chance to play through Stacking for free.. I've heard it's fantastic but I don't want to drop the $$ on it.

Did anyone else notice Darknessbear voted in the poll?

I'm thinking I may play some video games this month. Just bought Portal 2 on Amazon and I'm hoping Hastings comes through with my $30 LA Noire like they said they would.
How much? I have been looking at getting a tablet.
I'm not sure. Make me a reasonable offer.

Just got back from NY's oldest microbrew festival. 4 hours of heavy drinking, plus partybus to/from. I'm hurtin.

The most tiring thing about applying for jobs is that every fucking website wants you to create a login. Can't I just give you my resume with all of my contact info and call it even?

:applause: Even better than that was me going to a job fair recently where every employer handed me a flyer or business card showing their website and told me to 'go home and fill out an application on our site'.

Well then, why the fuck am I here if I shoulda just filled out an app on your website then? Total waste of time. Only good thing that coulda come out of it was getting some free pens n shit.

I just saw on NBC's crawler (while watching the news that Bin Laden was killed, none the less) that Fast Five took the top spot at the box office this week. They reported the earnings as "$83.6". They obviously meant millions, but I would like to think it only grossed $83.60

Unfortunately people will go see sequel after sequel and remake after remake, which is why Hollywood doesn't even have to try to come up with new ideas anymore.

They can just remake the same old tired series/movies and people will pay to watch them.

Can you please get the fuck out of here. I already try to stay away from the PS3 forum cause you ass is always lurking there, dont need you to bitch about stuff over here.

You know there IS an ignore function on here, right? Click on my user name, select IGNORE IAmTheCheapestGamer, hit OK on the next page and then continue on with your day safe in the knowledge you won't have to see anything I say again unless you choose to see the messages.

Movie was fucking awesome, don't hate it, until you give it a chance. Easily the best in the series...so far. The best car chase scenes I've ever witnessed in cinema.

Morning, OTT.

Bad news on the home front...Number84's baseball season is over. He hurt his hip on Thursday in gym class playing 'Crazy Kickball', and by Saturday we were taking him to the emergency room because of the pain. In the X-ray they thought is growth plate slipped and that the top of his left leg somehow fell out of the hip socket. The doctors thought they were going to have to operate to realign the leg, and insert pins to realign the growth plate.

Turns out from the CT Scan that his leg and growth plate is fine, however he has, what they beleive, are calcium deposits that grew on his hip that when he fell broke off and are resting in the space between his leg and his hip and that is what is causing the pain. They are referring him to Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia for evaluation.

You need to watch Ronin, Vanishing Point, & Bullitt.

I'll have to say, going into Fast Five, you have to have a certain expectation. I'll agree the chase scenes were great - that's basically what the entire movie is. For a mindless action flick, it was good. The stunts were crazy. It grossed so high because everything else at the movies this weekend was total shit and there was nothing else to watch. Will I watch it again? Maybe if it's on cable.

Ran all those fuckin numbers, now its time to play around with stats today.

Meeting with a stats wizz tomorrow to see where he can help.

Dmaul, I may be messaging you tomorrow :)

I thought the following are true if you're a graduate student

1.) Working out is required
2.) Eating healthy, bland food is required
3.) Even if you're a music major, you're also a stats major.

Yeah I understand. The only reason I watch them at least once is because of your stated reasons.

If a claim of "Greatest Car Chases" is being thrown out they must stack up against the films I mentioned. Ronin is not only a good film but has the greatest car chases of all time.

There is HS AP Testing being hosted at my work and when I went down to the cafe to eat lunch it was packed. It also brought back memories of the Fundementals of Engineering Exam and other crappy standardize testing. I never took AP anything and was glad I didn't.

Ronin -- the movie with DeNiro, right? Personally, I never thought the car chase scenes in it were anything other than average (or the movie itself for that matter)... but it's been awhile since I've seen it.

Contrastingly to LP, I can only think of one car chase action scenes in Fast Five and it's at the end of the movie... everything else that I recall wasn't really a car chase or anything more than like "hey, check it out, we're driving for 5 seconds".

I remember hearing on the radio on I think 93X Mpls that someone said Vin Disel was gay. I find that very hard to believe.

Yeah and I understand and to each their own of course. Ronin was great because they took real cars and real drivers and just filmed them driving. I guess thats why I love the old car films.

IDK, I loved my AP classes; Those classes had some of the few teachers that didn't phone it in everyday. So much of HS isn't even remotely challenging (at a public school anyways), they at least kept my interest.

I'm grading AP exams in June in Louisville.

I was lazy in HS and was concerned with baseball. Also I was taking Pre-Engineering classes so trying to learning Calculus and Physics at that level was plenty of work for me. Looking back I regret it because I was clearly not prepared for college, though I don't think anything would have prepared me.

Sounds terrible but a fun town none the less. To bad it isn't July since that is when Lebowski Fest is.
The ending of Portal 2 was unexpected. Pretty cool game.
fuck Yes. I was so in love with the visuals. I really want more of the story. It also makes me crave more Half Life.

Someone in the Kotaku comments section thinks that Microsoft paid hackers to attack Sony.
