Damn studying. I hate this part of the semester. I have a large chemistry lab paper due Monday. It shouldn't take to long but it'll end up being almost 10 pages easy. Anyway, off to work.
Did they really have different teams? I thought everything was done in Montreal. Are you thinking of Splinter Cell?
I could have sworn reading somewhere that it was developed by two different teams. Let me see if I can find a source.

I just realized that the only thing I wrote in my notebook for astronomy this year was a few lines of notes from the first day. After those first few lines, I think I took a nap, and then never opened that notebook for the remainder of the semester.

Well, I've learned my lesson about garage/yard sales. When they advertise a Gamecube, and I don't get there until 3:30, it's bound to be gone. It sold for $25. Apparently, they also sold "a Sega." Whether that means a Dreamcast, Genesis, or (if I knowingly missed this I would shoot myself) a Saturn, I'll never know.

They have the funniest commercial on during the draft. For a loacl company called Formal Affairs. Advertising Prom outfits. And the guy speaks aned sounds just like Sr. from American Chopper. He starts off by going, "How you doin'?" And then talks ain that faaltering style. And he even has this greta line where he says, "I can't guarantee you'll look good. You may be ugly or somethin'! But I know you'll get a good price."

It's not that the line is funny, it's just how he tries to deliver it, and fails miserably. It's a hilarious ad.

splinter cell was done by different teams (PT being done by Shanghai) but I don't think PoP was.
The Breakfast Club is on Comedy Central now. Awesome movie. My grandma and little sister are watching it together now.
I'm still stuck on Dogma. Breakfast Club was awright, but they really need to play it a lot less often.

Bender was  though.

Hmmmm...For anyone who's played the Silent Hill series, which one is the best? I played 1 and 2 and never played 3 or 4. I was always under the impression that 2 was the best of the series. However my friend who played all four said 3 was the best. So I went out and tried to see how much it'd cost for a copy of SH3, and wow is EB insane. A used copy was $30. So I'm wondering if it's really 30 dollars good.

Okay after some more digging this is the best I can find

However, in a maneuver of astounding dimwittedness, Ubisoft pretty much disbanded the PoPTeam studio responsible for Sands of Time and shifted the entire writing staff from the original over to work on the upcoming Prince of Persia movie. The new team totally rewrote the protagonist . . .
http://fourfatchicks.com/Reviews/POP_WW/Prince.shtml

The Prince of Persia franchise was reborn with the release of Sands of Time, which is a fantastic game...more like a movie experience than a game, with its emotional bend and colorful environments.

Warrior within, on the other hand was designed by a different team at UbiSoft...and it shows.

I've never used shields thus far. And I'm sure I don't know how. so, therefore...how?

Liar. You don't have 4 listed.
Prince Persia would get my vote too. It's much better than DMC, although they are two different types of games. The only thing is I would skip Warrior Within. The game is awful.
Sorry, wet sticky fox, but you're so wrong.

I haven't busted open my DMC3 yet, but I can tell you DMC was better than PP:SoT. That game sucked. The puzzles were easy, the fighting was repetative... at least I had some customization and such in my fighting with DMC... and the story, while cheesy, at least held my interest. Dante's a badass, where the Prince is a whiny fucking bitch.

DMC2, however, sucked major goat nards. Any PP game has to be better than DMC2. DMC3, however, overlooking what I hear is a major difficulty curve, is supposed to be on the level of the original. Not sure about PP:TTT but PP:WW with it's barking exploding dog throwing jackhole is not garnering positive reviews from The Crotch.

I am working on cleaning up my room. I have to move (again). The joy of being an RA is that I will be moving to my 8th new room since I started here.
That's just it - I didn't mind the low difficulty. And at least Wind Waker's enemies could take more than three hits from a sword before dying, unlike Twilight Princess' foes.
TP would've been so much better if it had just come out on the GC as originally planned. You can see how the GC version is now just the port... that development turned around and geared the game toward being meant for the Wii. How else do you explain some of those fucking boss battles? I'm not saying TP wasn't easy, cause it was in a lot of spots, but overall, still a step up from WW.

My main problems with WW revolve around the sailing (god, it takes 5-15 minutes to get anywhere, even after you get the warping ability!) and the shortness. Difficulty follows shortly afterwards. But mostly, it's length and sailing that killed WW for me. The first 3 "dungeons" felt short. The final two were fucking fantastic. I imagined I was just getting into it, like in OoT where there were three short dungeons followed by 5 dungeons of good quality... I really believed I had 2 or 3 more of the great dungeons when I arrived at the end and beat the fuck out of gannon. It just fell flat on it's face for me...

Different strokes for different folks. The puzzles were easy but solving them was still a blast. As for combat, that wasn't the draw of the game and it's a whole lot more fun in Two Thrones. I have to disagree with you in that the Prince is a much more interesting character than Dante. The story in PoP was a bit lacking but the dialogue between the Prince and Farrah was engaging and really helped flush out their personalities.

It's not that I didn't like DMC it's just not my cup of tea. And why does everybody hate on DMC2? I only played about an hour into it but from what I did play it seemed pretty good. At least in 2 you got to go to different places instead of backtracking all through the castle like in the first game.

You didn't beat it in that hour of playing? That's part of the problem... the game was short. Not difficult at all. They didn't improve the combat at all... it become repetitive very quickly. The second character just sucked. List goes on and on.

And I didn't mean that combat was the focus of PP... I meant that when it happened, it was so clunky and cludgy and repetative that I couldn't stand it... I just kept praying that my sand meter would be full so I could use the ultimate attack on them and get it over with.

Well, White Zombie was a band, and Rob Zombie, while it is a band, is considered his solo project. Essentially, White Zombie was 100% Rob Zombie's vision, as is - naturally - the Rob Zombie act.

Strangely, though, White Zombie broke up the minute the band got wind of Geffin records wanting Rob Zombie to release a solo side-project.

Beyond that, in terms of sound, White Zombie and Rob Zombie are quite different. White Zombie's early work, from the late '80s, sounds like garage metal (!?), lacks the extremely hi-fi production that their later work is known for, and just sounds completely different.

White Zombie's first mainstream release is straight-up metal, with tinges of weirdness, film audio samples and slightly tongue-in-cheek (which will become a consistent theme to his music, from here on out).

Their second, and last, mainstream release is very hi-fi, film sample heavy, a hybrid of metal, hard rock and disco and insanely weird. Elements of murder, horror, sci-fi, 1970s, crime, murder and everything and anything else strange you can think of.

Their last album, Astro-Creep: 2000, is one of the best albums ever recorded, in my opinion. The remix album of Astro-Creep: 2000, which is called Supersexy Swingin' Sounds, is stand-alone incredible... which is odd, because most remix albums suck dick.

EBA song selection isn't bad. Even if you don't like mainstream American you have to admit that tracks match the scenearios pretty well.

Can't say I've played more than one stage in EBA- YMCA. The music combined with the fact that they're business men (wtf?) turned me off immediately.
