Madden is awful is just about every way (both the games and the man  ). So, I don't see how you could even really compare them.
I liked 07 *runs*
I liked 07 *runs*
Okay, I have to admit I haven't tried '07. But I mean, it's Madden. I don't expect them to have improved the product. At all.

I don't particularly like Madden either, but I enjoyed the hell out of 07.
Why? It looks incredibly boring.
Good point sub. Seems like whomever did that version of "Comfortably Numb" did the bass line during anything that didn't have David Gilmour's electric guitar used. I would of at least of done the rhythum guitar during those parts myself.

Or done what this person did....

I don't see how you can hate one and not the other. They play quite similarly, so I don't really see much of what's different besides the Crib and the week-to-week babysitting bullshit that it wants you to do between games. Madden just seems a little more rewarding and innovative (using the right stick to change the play on the fly rather than bending over in NFL 2K5 if you pick the wrong play) to me. Madden's just more user friendly to me while NFL 2k5 seems to just force to play their way and to like it.

Madden 07 on the Wii is really good. It took me awhile to get used to passing with buttons as using the Wii remote to pass is mighty sweet.

What did NFL 2K5 improve upon from 2K4?

Madden 07 Wii is good? Intersting. My latest Madden game os '04, I think, So I might get '07 once it hits 15.
Madden's just more user friendly to me while NFL 2k5 seems to just force to play their way and to like it.
You're probably just more used to Madden, then.

I don't know, I went from 2K on dreamcast to 2K3 on gamecube to 2K5 on xbox.

My Guitar Hero would include this:

I think I am going to ditch a ton of my 360 games tomorrow. Most of the shit I have I never play so it makes no sense to keep it (unless I have yet to play it). Probably going to get rid of SD, Rainbow Six, Oblivion, FEAR, Gears, and Dead Rising.

My copy of Gears has a scratch in it that gives me errors so I am going to ditch it and then go buy a new copy. Don't know what I will do with all that credit, but I may just end up pre-ordering UT3 and saving the rest for something else (I already have Halo 3 and Bioshock pre-ordered)

I guess as long as I'm staying in tonight I can catch up on House. :whistle2:k

Also, I finished reading "The Pugilist At Rest" last night. So I'm starting on my next book, "A Long Way Down". I haven't read any Hornby previously.
You're probably just more used to Madden, then.
I don't know. It just seems like one thing the 2K guys should've stolen from Madden. If the defense can react to the offense's play, why can't the offense do the same in return. It's just a better way to go about things.
I still don't have a Wii.

Then I guess it was pretty much the same as the leap from Madden 2004 to 2005.

Should get some nice credit for that stuff. Wario: Master of Disguise and Diddy Kong Racing will net me $45, and I'm not sure what else I'll trade in. That'll probably be it. At least it's a free Pokemon Battle preorder, since I'll get MP8 free at BB with RZ cert. I'd consider trading in Trauma Center Wii, but I don't really have anything else to trade it in with.

Happy birthday Purple Flames and ryles.
It's kinda snowing now, so maybe I won't be going out for the weekend. fuck.
we're supposed to get a major fucking nor'easter starting tomorrow night going through Monday morning. fahhhhhk:bomb:.

DAMN. I can't believe how difficult it is to find a Wii, even now. I mean iTrackr's telling me there's a national availability of 2%. That's ridiculous!

Seriously. I would've thought they'd be sitting on shelves by now, easy.
i dunno if you guys have read this or not, but if you've got some free time you should, it's pretty hillarious.
Bookmarked.

Time for another episode of House. Yeah, I'm only on my second one of the evening. I get distracted easily, sometimes.

Nintendo doesn't exactly want to fulfill demand and instead just sit on the knowledge that they're artificially enhancing the high demand to sell every system they send out.

 Wow. I'm gonna have to start frequenting GBS more, I usually stick to SAS, WH2k, and BYOB.

$90 is too much for Guitar Hero 2 on 360. So I got the ps2 version off amazons marketplace for $50. I'm not paying $40 more for achievements.
Time for Coffee House.
Coffee House was fucking awesome. My friend was up performing playing an original song of his, when the wind began to blow really strongly (which really added to the atmosphere of the song), and as it reached the climax and ended, right at the same fucking second, the power blacked out. Amazing.
We all then did/watched slam poetry for ~1 hour in the dark (no power) before heading home.

Great night overall.

Oh, and I suck at Gears.

Anyone have any tips on picking a doctor? Just selecting a name off of a list of search results doesn't strike me as the best way.

Happy birthday HS.

Ask friends and family members.

Thanks, chika and subby

Know anybody that could recommend a local doctor to you?

Damn HS. I thought you were older than me. Guess not. Happy bday.

I think I owe ryles on that also. Happy belated bday, gayator.

Work ended at 2 because they were moving offices. Which is pretty cool - I didn't do much while I was there, and they served me pizza.

Came home, took a nap, then made homemade pizzas for game night. Two with red sauce, one with just cheese and olive oil. Let everyone pick their own toppings - pepperoni, sausage, chicken, red/green bell peppers, pepperocinis, barbeque sauce, chedder cheese, crushed red pepper, and pineapple. Seemed like it went very well.

Red sauce was excellent. Nice and tangy and sweet but kinda spicy. Secret ingredient? Mexican bottled Coca cola. Not even joking - added a really nice flavor.

GF is now angry for some reason I don't understand. Which sucks but I guess I'll just use the time to play SPM/read Watchmen/play FF6A.

Why you get mad after I cook all the food, clean up the kitchen, entertain my friends, have fun with said friends, try to get you drunk/get myself drunk so we can take our minds off your wreck, and do a multitude of other chores around the apartment for the last week so you can rest and recover? I'll never understand.

If your species is allowed to take "Are you tired?" as an insult, even when you really are tired and you just want to zombie out watching girly tv shows, at least have the decency to allow me to go off in my own world and play silly little games that tug at my nostalgic strings. At least then I won't bug you and I get to play games, which lately I can only do after you are asleep.

Oh well. I'm going to go play SPM or something. Hope everyone is having a good weekend thus far.

i think it's about bed time. this temp job is sucking the life out of me rather quickly. thankfully i dont need to go back until Monday. thankfully it's only 2 miles away. thankfully i'm not working retail (though i dont know that this is better than retail. just different)

i had mentioned that i was told i'm doing "customer service". today i found out the woman who is training me to do her job is actually a "shipping/mailroom" employee, not customer service. her desk is located in the customer service wing (since she technically does the shipping/mailroom services for the customer service team). if they would've told me straight out what the job was, i wouldn't be so angry about it.
