Best Buy carries Metal Slug, it's only at 3 out of 6 stores here though. I think most retailers don't want to carry SNK games since they don't sell. I want it but I can't stomach $40 for it, even though I love Metal Slug.

You'll probably have to end up buying Taito Legends 2 on Gamestop.com, since for an "Exclusive", it's at very very very few B&M stores. I only got it for Elevator Action Returns (sold my Saturn copy for almost $50 a few months ago ) and the shmups on it, everything else is just awesome bonuses.

By the way, the receipt scan works fine, my gf had to get a wisdom tooth pulled so we've been busy with that, had to wait at the dentist for hours to get in.
I just found it on BB.com, so with a GamePro coupon, it should be $32.99 ($37.99 BC) in-store.

I'll probably order TL2 shortly, though with my luck, it'll disappear before I can order it.

So I woke up at 2pm, but there is nothing to do so I'm thinking about napping :bouncy:.

I used a different laundry soap than usual, and I can smell the change. It smells good, but it's wierd to smell different all of the sudden.
And is it me, or is Metal Slug Anthology for PS2 impossible to find anywhere except for EB/GS?
my store has it new and used

/ninjaedit: two new copies, actually

Hm, a local EB has this used too, but I still don't know if I can stomach the $31.50 for it after Edge.

I just got a strong feeling EB / GS is going to drop this to $20 or $30 new in a few months.

That's what I'm thinking as well.

Good to know that GC has it as well.
Dammit. Will someone edumacate me on the video conversion programs? Chika will thank you later. :bouncy:
I can give you a little bit of education, though I'm not the best candidate for the job.

i got him that fancy-pants digital media player for his b-day and he's trying to figure out how to get all his anime on there, since it's currently in the wrong format.

First figure out what format it needs to be in and the try and find a video converter. I wouldn't know of any off the top of my head, but if you have to correct codecs, you should be able to change from almost any format.

Oh yeah, that thing. :D

I'm sure some Google searching will dig up what he needs.

Worst case, the DiVx app should allow converting to DiVx video format. $20 might be the easiest way to do it:

Hmm...I'm still unemployed, so I really shouldn't be spending money on games, but I just realized that one of the game stores near me has a (used) copy of the Cube version of Mario Tennis for $35. Since the game's so impossibly difficult to find everywhere else, I'm tempted to get it. Maybe I can buy it once I actually find a job? :whistle2:k
Don't know much about all your fancy book learning, sorry lion.

I think I might just stay home tonight given my choices.
Stay home - no paying for gas!

What format does it need to be in?

I'm guessing we've all given up on tits mcgee sarusausage boy over there.. so what's everyone else doing for the night? I think Im going to buy a beanbag and play the halo 3 beta all night.. sad sad life I live :p

Old people need to stop driving so fucking slow. I caught a train because one wouldn't hurry the fuck up. You're about to die, that means speed the fuck up because you lived a full fucking life. I swear, they drive slow just because it annoys young people.

lionhart: AutoGK is all you need.

So I finally sold my mp3 player today for $180...and I get a call in, I shit you not, less than 6 hours later, asking me if there is a warranty on it, because the guy I sold it to already smashed the screen.

Well it seems like my local BB doesn't have an Action Replay for the DS for store pickup. Guess I won't be buying that.
Didn't that go Player's Choice at some point?
I don't think so. Of all the Mario sports titles I think Golf was the only one to make it to Player's Choice.

What games would you use it for?

Fuzion Frenzy 2 is the worst next-gen game I have ever played.

It feels like it was plucked straight from the Dreamcast guttertrash.
Just picked up a 4GB Pro Duo Stick from Frys.com for $35. Anyone want a used sandisk 2GB Pro Duo on the cheap or for a trade?
How much?
What games would you use it for?
Primarily pogeymanz, but I'm sure I'd find other nefarious uses.
Whatever Brak offers, I'll offer $5 less.
And I'll offer $5 more!

Miscreant.

Headed out to volunteer for a few hours.
If colleges didn't love this shit, I wouldn't even bother.

Brak, Zew, I'll be back to play some Halo at like 10 CST at the latest, if you guys are going to be on.
How much?
I was thinking $20 shipped. I think you can get one new for that price but after $30 in rebates. So this way you can get one without rebates but it's slightly used. It's like new.

Either that or I was looking for a couple used games.
Hotel Dusk DS.
Chocobo Tales DS.
Turtles for the GBA

You've never played Eragon.

Depends on what we're calling "Player's Choice." I think that Tennis was part of the weird, not-quite-Player's-Choice $30 set of games that included Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, and now the Mario soccer and baseball games.

Looking at eBay, most of the copies have a buy it now around $40, and EB and Gamestop have it for $45 used. It looks like that $35 for a used copy might actually be the lowest price I can find for it...which seems ridiculous, but seeing as the game is out of print and the Wii install base just keeps getting larger, I don't think that the price is going to drop anytime soon.

Mario Tennis will come out eventually on the Wii, that is a definite, especially compared to how many love tennis on Wii Sports.

Nintendo is already packaging up older games and wii-releasing them, odds are they will make a new Mario Golf and Mario Tennis, add in some wiimote functions, some new characters, some new stages, and re-release that shizz.

I'd like to see Mario Bowling, myself.
$20 Mario Tennis would be nice. fuck the yellow strip, I want the game on the cheap.
I've got a cartridge only copy for N64. The game works good but I don't have a fully functional controller. Mario Bowling could be fun, but it's not worth it's own game.

That's a good deal.

I'd get it, but all I'd really want it for is my PSP... and, even then, I'd solely use it for music... and I'm getting a Zune soon, so...

Honestly, I'm not sure if Nintendo's even producing GameCube games anymore. Possibly some of the Player's Choice titles, but it seems like the shelves have just been getting empty without new stock to fill them at most stores.

That would require having a Wii, and it's a lot harder to justify the cost of that at the moment. :whistle2:(

Eh...I've got a few days to mull it over, I guess. I'll be back in the area on Monday because there's a library a few miles down the road I need to go to to return some CDs, so I'll make a call on it Monday. Considering that I spent hours playing the N64 version freshman year of college, I'll probably go for it. I just need some form of income first... :whistle2:k
