Paper Mario and Mario tennis are they worth it

Definitely. Especially if you've never played them. Paper Mario is a lot of fun, and Mario Tennis is one of the best four-player games the N64 has to offer.

mario tennis is my fav tennis game! well..thats not sayin much since i dont usually play tennis games, but it is still very good :)

REALLY REALLY FUN in multiplayer too :)

absolutely. Paper Mario is a rare game and can fetch you lot. i traded mines away for Lunar Silver Star for Sega CD and that game can fetch me $50+.

Mario Tennis is also worth something, but not as much as Paper Mario (complete copy is worth $30+)

First things first, Paper Mario IS NOT rare. But it's still worth some money. Digital Press ranks it an R3/$26.

Anyways, I wish I could get Mario Tennis that cheap. Hell, it would have been cool if I had gotten Paper Mario that cheap, but I'm still pretty happy that I found one for $20 a couple months ago. :D

I'm probably in the minority but I thought Paper Mario wasn't very good. Too short, horrible story, bad character development, not many sidequests, and very linear. Not exactly a winning combo for an RPG.

Then I guess we should be glad that it's a platformer.

HUH? You can't be serious.... Do you really think it's a platformer?

EDIT: FYI, Gamespot.com, IGN.com, Gamefaqs.com, and Game-Revolution.com ALL list it's Genre as RPG.
