I know someone else already posted about getting PREY cheap, but there needs to be a thread to tally up all of the discounted prices because there are some ridiculous deals I just found and it will take a combined effort to scan all of Circuit City's games. Anyways, I have just purchased:

edit: Thank you to pcktlnt for making this list alphabetized and coding it for starforce.
To help out my fellow caggers, here is a compiled list of the games that have been listed throughout the entire forum. Do not hate on me if some of the prices may be off, I just copied/pasted. Good luck finding the games. Please, please please please please put the game title and price when you guys list. This way it would help out a lot. ^__^

A few questions were arising that I thought everyone knew. But I will help clarify here just in case.
 • All prices listed below are 50% off. That means, what you see listed below should be what you pay for that game.
 • NEVER believe the sticker price on Circuit City games. If you feel doubtful have the employee/cashier PRICE CHECK the game.
 • Your mileage may vary (YMMV). For example, we know that Sam & Max price checks for 24.99, but a fellow CAG was able to find one that had a sticker price of 19.99, so he/she was able to pick it up for 10.00. Same with someone else and a Deluxe version of Battlefield. Use your best judgment in obtaining a game not on this list.
 • If you do purchase a game, please list the game and price. This way, the list can be updated.
 • Good luck fellow CAGs.
Thank you fellow CAGs for posting your game finds and prices.

Here's my haul totaling $63.99!

0125082112py1.jpg

Stalker $10
Puzzle Quest $10
Sherlock Holmes $10
Shivering Isles $7.50
Heroes V $7.50
WTR Race 07 $7.50
Dark Messiah CE $4.12
The Ship $2.35
Darwinia $1.40

Sadly no R6 Vegas, and I passed on Railroads and Prey and a couple other things that weren't worth it. Best part though was that it was a manager who rang me up and was in shock at some of the prices since a couple things are still marked $40. Of course then he asked me how I knew about all this and I got the usual cut off and "Yeah we know about them" deal.

CC's such a joke now a days though, far as I could tell there were 6 people working the entire store and in the car install there was a car alarm going off the entire time I was there.

Here's my haul:

Total: $65 and change.

BTW, what's wrong with the C&C Orange collection? Is it still fine for first time players?

i got BF 1942 collection 3~
Battlefield booster pack 3~
Battlefield 2142 10~
DMMM 3~ collectors edition

and he forgot to ring one of them up so hell yes...
I may go back tomorow for BFME2...

Nothing wrong with yours, just more for the money I guess. Personally, I can't imagine playing that much C&C. For me that's like 8 too many!

Orange Collection:
Tiberian Sun
Tiberian Sun Firestorm
Red Alert 2
Yuri's Revenge
Renegade

Generals Deluxe:
Generals
Generals Zero: Hour

First Decade:
Original C&C
Covert Operations
Red Alert
Red Alert Counterstrike
Red Alert the Aftermath
Tiberian Sun
Tiberian Sun Firestorm
Red Alert 2
Yuri's Revenge
Renegade
Generals
Generals Zero: Hour

oh so there are better deals out there? Am I reading that right?

Ok, a few new ones I found:

Star Wars empire at war, but it can't be the collector's or the one that is bundled with the expansion
Tomb Raider Legend
Silent Hunter

all in the $8 range

If anyone can find Galactic Civ 2, I'd buy it or try to get you something you can't find. I'm also looking for Spellforce 2 and then I'll have my collection completed. Took trips to three different CCs to end up with these, and I was pleasantly suprised that one still had a Sylpheed and a Def Jam Icon for $9 each

p1000781im4.jpg

Actually EA is releasing another compilation: everything in the First Decade plus C&C: 3 (the newest one). I own the First Decade and it's kinda buggy; last time I checked, EA still hasn't released a much-promised patch to improve things. So yeah, you have all the C&C games on one DVD, but it's a half-assed effort.

Man, I'm pissed that I'm missing out on this sale.

Oh, and a funny pricing dichotomy I found:

Dawn of War platinum (Game + winter assault/ dark crusade expansions) - $30
Dawn of War Gold (Game + winter assault) -$8
Dawn of war dark crusade expansion - $30

WTF, the expansion is as much as the platinum edition that comes with everything. I was hoping to get it to round out my gold edition...I thought it would be like $4.

I'm going back tomorrow, hopefully they still have Darwinia, it sounds interesting and for $1 you can't go wrong :/

Wish my CC had R6, I've wanted that game for a long time.

wow SH 4 for 8.xx... I bought that for 20 on black Friday weekend. I have yet to play that game.

Well SH4 for whatever reason was a pretty limited run it seems like and got pretty scarce when it was brand new and Vegas is just a better game that had a lot more pub behind it then most of what's being knocked down.

I picked up Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast for $8.50, GTA: San Andreas for $10, and (drumroll......) Syberia Saga Limited Ed. for $2.35. It had been sitting there for months and still had a $12.99 sticker on it.

Might have to go back for Darwinia and The Ship.

Will San Andreas work with the Xbox 360 controller? I remember trying vice city with a different dual analog pad a couple of years ago and only one of the analog sticks would work.

I'd been wondering how much Outrun was....I think I'll pass for $8.50 though.
Well for a buck it's worth picking up Darwinia just for this.
Yea I gave one of those to my gf, she thought it was cute :)

Yea the majority of the stuff is actually marked at prices from a month ago or has the the price tag pulled off it. Have them scan it if you're uncertain but all these prices so far have been system wide, just a matter of what stores have what games left.

Vegas's MSRP now is $20 though, even says so on their site, so it's $10 after the 50% off this week. Speaking of which it's annoying that it's not covering it on their web page or I'd just order it. Not like it says in the ad that it's in store only or anything and it's showing up on HL2 and WoW which are advertised. Kind of annoying how hit and miss it is on their site.

Seems like a lot of great deals. For some reason PC games just don't appeal to me, though. However, I would like to try Stalker out, but my Rig is 4.5 years old :(

I'll pay $12 shipped for Battlefield 2 Deluxe. Either one of you gets my money, or Gamestop does.
I'd been wondering how much Outrun was....I think I'll pass for $8.50 though.
Outrun 2006 is the best and most fun driving game ever created. It's worth the money.

w00t, I found one not yet on the list:

EA Strategy Collection, includes:
Black and White 2
B&W2: Battle of the Gods
LOTR: BfME
C&C: Generals
C&C Generals Zero Hour

All for $2.74. I don't even like RTSs.

Also got Prey, SC Double Agent, Stalker and Culpa Innata while I was there. Total $34.

I was really hoping my CC would have The Ship (Hell yeah $2.34), but no dice. Anyone willing to get an extra one and I can Paypal them $6 or so to ship it to me?

Weird thing is that one's not even listed on CC's site.

Yea alot of stuff isn't, mine only had one of the ship though or I'd grab ya one. Nice find on the strategy pack for $3 though. And most of it isn't because most it is stuff that technically they don't carry anymore and is just sitting on there shelves for the most part. Like the Dark Messiah CE isn't even in their system anymore which is why we're getting it for $4.12.

Snagged "Splinter Cell--Double Agent" for $2.53 and "Fable--The Lost Chapters" for $8.00. Passed on STALKER ($10) b/c I'm weary if my rig will run it or not, and "Rainbow Six--Vegas" ($5.xx) b/c it's not the kind of game I'd play.
Wait, so you guys that got R6:Vegas, did you pay $10? There was one copy at the CC near me marked $40.
alot of price tags are out of date. for example, i bought call of juarez for $5 even though the price tag said $49.99
Wait, so you guys that got R6:Vegas, did you pay $10? There was one copy at the CC near me marked $40.
The last time I paid attention to a sticker on a game at CC was about four years ago. It's always fun to watch employees' jaws drop when they finally scan a game after they've been insisting that "games are priced as marked."

Magic Match $4.66 (a mumbo jumbo puzzle game)
Crashday $7.50

F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate rang up $29. Also DNA rang up $10(was reported $2.19 earlier). I forgot to check Blazing Angels 2 dangit. Some good deals to be had though, epecially if you're into strategy games(not 4 me). I hope others have better luck getting Dark Messiah to run than I did. Would crash no matter what on my system(even the steam download).

thx op(and speedy too!)

Just a heads up for you blazing angels 2 is regular 14.99 now so it'd end up being 7.50 if you can find it.

IL2 Sturmovik might be $10 too. I saw one copy marked $29.99 but two others marked $19.99
il2 1946 is $10
I guess CC is giving PC games some real love this year.
last year the sale was buy 1 get 1 free on all pc games under $20. of course CC's system was all screwed up and people were buying one $10 game and getting a $50 game free.

I was really hoping to get in on Jade Empire, but they scanned it -- price marked as $39.99 -- and it came up $24.99. Oh well. Still a decent price, I assume, so I may go back...

Wound up walking out of there with only one title, Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, for $10. 2007 GameSpot award winner for "Best Use of a Creative License." The reviews aren't consistently stellar, but for $10, it sounds like a fine adventure, as long as you don't mind your Holmes with a dash of Cthulhu...

I'm going after work today, hoping to get Dark Messiah and Stalker and maybe a few others.

Any deals on Hellgate: London?

Went back for the last ratty copy of Darwinia today.

COD Deluxe (big box) rang up at $10.

No go on Galactic Civilizations II Gold, Oblivion, or C&C First Decade. (Probably should have checked CC.com first...duh.)

Just got back from my crappy local CC and scored:
Call of Juarez
Gothic 3
The ship
Dark messiah
Armed and dangerous
Maelstorm
At the previously stated prices. $24.94 total after local taxes. I was surprised they had all of these. The tagged prices of 49 and 39 probably helped. May go back for some more later.......

Yeah $30 at Gogamer.com
How many Gigs of hard drive space does Splinter Cell: Double Agent use? I heard it was a system hog.
'Bout 10 gigs.

Command & Conquer First Decade is still $29.99 (scanned it today). The big orange box Command & Conquer Collection is $10.

Add these two sweethearts to the list:

The Movies (original release) $4.66
The Punisher $1.90!!!

We should hang on to this master price list, even after the half off sale. (Just x2 the prices). A lot of these games will still be good deals at regular clearance price.

Well I just pulled of a dumb move of epic proportions.

Got the Titan Quest expansion without the orig game.

Do'p! :wall:

You know what that means...

BACK TO THE MAGICAL CC!

Ok I did some house cleaning at two locations.

Here goes

Darwinia x 2 =1.29 (each)
DNA =2.19
Call of Juarez x 2 = 5.00 (each)
Rayman 3 pack (for the nephew) =4.50
SC: DA = 3.75
Micro Machines 4 = 4.33
Faces of War =4.33
Origin of the Species =6.9
Ankh =2.00
Puzzle Quest =10.00
NFS:MW (I really like this game better than the other NFS games) =5.00
Sid Meir's Railroads x2 (in the two locations they had problems finding it in the system, however one place gave it to me for 4.12 and the other for 3.56 oh well)
Rise of Legends =9.00
The Ship =2.19
Blazing Angles 2=7.50 (been eyeing this game for quite some time)
and drum roll please..........
Guild Wars Nightfall (long box), original price 70 bucks, today's CC price=
9.48 :p

Dunno if I will keep Guild Wars:NF as I have no idea what it is but I have heard of GW's before.

Seems the CC in Sterling, VA has a LOT more games over there vs the Fairfax, VA one. I am really surprised that both locations were not cleaned out by now. Someone tried to hide Railroads behind a Gamecube game at the Sterling location...tsk tsk!

This is got to be the biggest haul of PC games I have made in years. I have the feeling that CC will be slowly pushing out more titles throughout the year as they might be going to carry video games only instead of PC games. hmm..
