I went right at half and half, the odds seem to be getting slightly better. I'd love to spend 100 bucks and max out my Wii Points, but there are no guarantees. Gonna think on this, maybe grab 100 from them or so.

EDIT: Well, I offered the seller 80 and he accepted. I feel comfortable with that risk, this is like playing the slots!

Various times, honestly, I haven't had much luck at any particular time. 4-5 in the morning seems pretty good, but I get the same odds just about any time I try. Do these points work on the DS as well?

Fact: He was quoting me on the RB forums, It's the first time a game developer has responded to one of my questions. :lol:
 
just started playing again, man getting these losses suck just went 5/9, should of bought more caps off ebay before. also just got the notice they ran out of wii ponts again
 
I'm finding it harder to win now.

Won 14/16 which is a little less than normal.

I do believe I have enough points to buy the last items I want and to back up my Squaresoft snes rpg collection...

I'm holding on to a few wins in the hopes the song list is updated... I love to get the KISS pack, but truthfully there are still songs I want off the regular list and over all I'm 22 for 25. I hadn't bought much DLC for Rock Band 2 at all and I'm loving getting new music for my game.

I know I said I wasn't going to go out of my way to get more caps, but I stopped by a gas station and they had 99c Wild Cherry Pepsi with the Rock Band caps, so I couldn't resist. I guess I can always keep the drinks for parties or what not, or just drink them at my leisure.

I'm glad I got greedy and bought a bunch of eBay codes while the gettin' was still good though! It took a while to get rid of those Pepsis (still have one left, actually) so I would have missed the golden days of this contest!
 
given the amount of losses I've had lately, I'm not playing for any more songs, weekly sweeps only. I know, my chances are lower, but still I hate the idea of playing for a song and not getting it.
Thanks to earlier, I feel entitled to a song for each cap. I feel robbed when it doesn't happen.
 
This definitely isn't worth it anymore unless you dumpster dive for caps or drink Pepsi regularly anyway. Ever since losers have been popping up, I'm only 5/9, so that's pretty much just buying the Wii points.

I have 2000 Wii points on my console. I can gift you games in trade for RB tracks for the 360.

Since 1 win = 200 Wii points = 1 360 track, I'll give you the same deal. This goes for anyone. Please post in the thread instead of PMing me (and I'll in turn PM YOU) so I don't get a flood of PMs once someone calls dibs.

Anyone have MS Points to trade? I need 200 more points for Shadow Complex next week. I have some wii codes sitting here and some wins in case you want 360/ps3 songs. Let me know!

I entered and played 5 caps today. Thankfully, they were all winners. Now, I just need them to update their DLC list.

I'm new to this promotion, so I have a question for those playing (and mostly winning) with multiple caps in the same day. Do you guys play them all in one go using the play again button, or do you wait an certain interval (mins?, hrs?) of time between playing each cap?
 
I've been going random times as it seems for me it never makes a difference. I play 2 caps and if both lose I stop, but if the first or second is a win, I play until I get another loss. This seems to be a decent strategy for me instead of entering a static amount of caps at a time.

I went 3/3 at about 6am the other morning and i waited about 20 seconds between each play.

Well I have 4 songs that I can redeem. My offer still stands if someone can give me the points to get the Rise Against pack. I only have 50msps at the moment so I would need a few lol.

Hopefully, the tweets (I feel dirty saying that) and forum posts mean we actually do get an update. Even if we just get one more update, all will be forgiven if the new songs from the past month or so are thrown up.

I lost for the first time at my "magic" hour yesterday, which puts me at 43/45 overall.

I was doing a decent 60-65% win percentage...then hit a 1 for 12 streak, plus Ive gotten 2 bullshit "no more instant win codes available" or something messages and steals my points (entered at 3:30am so i know they were not out).

I've gotten one of those messages before. I was really upset, but I went to My Account to see what status message they gave me for it, and it turns out that it was a Winner. :)

I've been having bad luck as well. Since I don't have a supply of free caps from anywhere, I bit the bullet and went the Ebay route. Picked up 22 tracks for $16. Not bad considering it's no work for me and doesn't require purchasing the soda :)

I'm eager to see what additional songs the update will bring. I've been going over the list with my wife to see what we'd like to add to the collection. :)
