When did you enter in the 7 codes? Past 2-3 days were all winners at anytime for me.
 
Seems like the winning ways are back for a little bit at least. Just went 14/14. Running total of 54/67. Won the vast majority at the very beginning of the contest then ran almost all my losers in a row over a 2 week span.

Saw people winning again in this thread and went on to run my remaining codes until I lost. Went through all 14 points I had left and they were all wins.

anyone have any luck redeeming for the billy idol songs?

Support has been contacted - judging from the official forums, it looks like Harmonix and Pepsi know about the Dead Weather issues (hence the tracks vanishing) and the Billy Idol issues. With any luck, there'll be a fix tomorrow.

Tomorrow's DLC announcement will help determine whether or not I blow my remaining codes. I don't necessarily expect another update, but if the DLC is awesome enough to warrant it holding out a little longer can't hurt. :whistle2:k
 
I just tried to play 2 points for instant win song codes and it took my points and told me something like "no points are available for instant win" or something like that.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Edit: Never mind I checked my account and they both counted as wins.

So far today I am 55/55. I just hope they add Wii points at least one more time.

That makes things easier - Oasis and Talking Heads are okay, but I don't see anything I feel a strong need to get this week, even at the price of free. I'll probably just hold onto the codes and finish off track packs at the end.

Given that you can't gift 360 content and I can't think of ANY way for somebody to give you 320 points (maybe 300 or 400 if they've got a promotional credit sitting around, or an Axe code)...good luck with that.
 
They made a response on twitter about Wii points...may just be a problem in the system (hopefully) since it just says unable to redeem instead of the usual out of wii tokens message. I have a few banked...didnt get to redeem them all, and don't need any 360/PS3 songs at all :(

Pepsi Twitter: "We are looking into the Wii message you are all getting and we'll get back with an update. But you know you can win more than songs, right?"

I just tried re-entering my codes for the Tom Petty tracks, and the codes still won't work. I e-mailed Pepsi, but I'm wondering if anyone else has the same problems or found a solution. Thanks.
 
if anybody is looking to trade for songs, i'll trade for face points value, maybe a little more (ie, 5-7 songs for an 800pt marketplace download). If anybody has some arcade game codes they're looking to dump off for songs, pm me

Yeah I'm having trouble with the Billy Idol tracks...but I believe I was able to get the one Tom Petty song I wanted. I just sent an email about the Billy Idol...so hopefully they'll fix that soon.

Looking at the RockBand.com forums:

Everybody is having trouble with using Pepsi codes for this week's new DLC on the PS3. On the 360, the only tracks that aren't working are the Billy Idol songs.

Ok so maybe this is a dumb question but, I see you guys talking about cashing in on Wii points here, and I'm wondering this.. Where do I enter my pepsi points/codes w/e? When I look at the prizes I don't see a "Wii points" option or anything. I'm honestly confused lol.

When you cash in a win for a Wii downloadable song, it gives you a code worth 200 Wii Points, that you enter into the Wii Shop channel, just like a points card.

Only thing is...the Wii points are out or not working at the moment lol. They should restock/fix them soon tho b/c they just added more songs, but once they do add more I would not hesitate in redeeming.
 
Well, on top of maxing out my Wii and DS, I've downloaded almost ALL of the available 360 songs. The only reason I haven't downloaded all of them yet is that I just simply haven't had time yet. I'll probably finish that up in a few days though.

EDIT: Nevermind, I have them all now. :)

Bought Social Distortion - Ring of Fire for PS3, even though I already had the song. D'oh! Anyone got some unused wins willing to help me out and trade a ps3 song for it? I'm down to my last 5 caps but they added all those new songs!

Am I just missing it or are the Dead Weather songs not on there? I tried looking in the D's the T's even the W's and couldn't find them.
 
Just went 25/25 for a total of 31/32. Have to talk to the lead singer (aka the GF) tomorrow and figure out what we want to get. I think I'm going to enter my last 2 points into the Harrah's drawing next week since we would like to go to New Orleans.

Is there a list of all the songs available? It is a pain to go back and forth through each page trying to decide what we want.
