Pepsi's "Drink up, Rock out" promotion - Win DLC and Games! STARTS JUNE 2ND!
Am I just missing it or are the Dead Weather songs not on there? I tried looking in the D's the T's even the W's and couldn't find them.
All of the Dead Weather links were generating codes for the same song, so they got pulled. They'll probably go back up in a few days, whenever Pepsi gets around to fixing that and the nonfunctional Billy Idol tracks.
Quoting the list of new songs to make it easier to find:

Thanks for posting that!
Thanks for reposting that!

Ahhh I see. Thanks for the info.
PS3 codes for the songs released this week aren't working. Might be a problem with PSN.
It probably is a problem with PSN - other than the Billy Idol tracks (which don't seem to work for anyone), all of the new releases work just fine on the 360. I know, because I pulled down at least half of them last week.
k... i think my ps3 fleetwood mac code isn't working... time to call them.
You could call, but it won't do any good right now since nobody has a working PS3 code for that song. Judging from the fact that they've been posting in topics about it the Harmonix developers know what's going on; now, it's on Pepsi (or Sony, if the problem is theirs like I suspect) to fix it.

I wasted about 5 codes on that Fleetwood Mac song and Rebel Yell is doing the same thing also. I just thought it was because I was using codes I wind in July and never redeemed.

If you're using "wind" the way I think you are... #-o

The Billy Idol tracks, at least for the 360, aren't generating a code at all but also aren't burning a token. As for using multiple tokens for the same song, that one's on you. Either wait to see if they fix it, or e-mail their tech support and see if they'll help.

I just went 2/5. Wouldn't recommend playing right now. I'm going to save the rest of my codes until next week. Maybe the odds will be better since so many people are going to be trying for the beatles bundle.

Just went 4/5. I've got 20 or so more points I want to try to win tracks with. I should probably save some and get some more for the Beatles bundles, though.

thx for the clear up. yeah, i have a billy idol and the fleetwood mac thing not working so no surprise.
Found a zipped spreadsheet of all the songs available from this promotion on the Rockband.com forum. Created a google doc of it for easy access.

Credit to Sportzter and hezekiah over there for making the list.

Hopefully I did the Google doc correct
Google is one amazing company... I can't wait for a Google World Domination :D

LOL no, I have no idea why or how the hell I typed that.

I put in 4 codes for Rock Band Beatles giveaway. I know there is probably an asshole right now that bought 200 bottle caps off Ebay and put them all in for the bundle.

This is why I'm torn on whether or not to enter. Everyone who's been milking the promotion is going to dump all of their points into that drawing, especially since the Wii points are still out and some of the tracks (Billy Idol for 360 and a handful for the PS3) are nonfunctional.

I want the bundle...but I don't want to throw codes away either. :whistle2:k

I just went 1/2 just now. My streak was up to 58 wins in a row. I cannot complain though, it was fun while it lasted, considering I missed the very beginning of the contest where for a long time everybody won. It was nice to have that feeling for myself.
The Dead Weather songs are back up and they worked for me on the PS3.
Even though these are fixed, the Billy Idol tracks and Wii points are not. Just checked and was hoping they would be fixed all at once.

Of course, I've already played all the caps I've gotten so far.
the losing continues. I just went 1 for 10.
You are playing at the wrong time.

I haven't played lately, but the people reporting success are trying at 2AM, 6AM...you know, off-peak times. You will be more likely to win at these times than at 6PM.

I wasn't going to put any points into the Beatles Rock Band bundle the first week, thinking that would probably be tops for entries for that, with a drop off each week as people gave up, but then again, maybe not everyone knows about the Beatles Rock Band option yet? Hmm. :whistle2:k

On the other hand, there are going to be people who forget about the promotion until the end, and just take whatever caps they have left and dump it into something during the last week.

At the moment, I don't even HAVE any points to dump into the Beatles bundle - I've just been entering them all as songs.

If anyone's wondering what's going on...

Known Pepsi Promo Issues (on RockBand.com forums)

HMXHenry is watching the thread, and that's probably the best place to keep track of what songs are and aren't working.

I am torn. I planned on dumping the rest of my points in for The Beatles, but I didn't realize how popular such an option could be.. Gah. I don't know what to do. I might put half in for The Beatles, and then try the half for DLC (I e-mailed the list to all my friends so they could pick songs, and I got overloaded with song requests!), although I keep losing now! Gah!

I got a response back from Pepsi regarding the Tom Petty codes. This is what it said:
Hello Tony,
Thank you for contacting us with regard to the Pepsi Rock Band Promotion. It is our pleasure to assist you.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We have notified PlayStation regarding this.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Thank you for choosing Pepsi and have a great day!!

Such a vague e-mail.. They didn't tell me if Sony was going to get back to me, or if something else is going to happen. I tried my codes again, and they didn't work. So I'm guessing that they're going to work with Sony and try and get all of these codes to work. That's the best I can get out of such a vague response. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Guess what? That's the same exact email I got. Word by word. :bouncy:

I imagine they must have been overloaded with e-mails concerning these problems. I don't mind them sending a robotic response e-mail to us all. I was just hoping they could have given us more information, like "We notified Playstation and we'll get back to you." or "Playstation will get back to you once the problem is fixed."

Cause now, I don't know where we go from here besides wait for something in some form we don't know about.

Honestly, I just love the fact they said Playstation instead of Sony. I picture the Playstation being circles and squares and... ;)

I just came into a huge amount of caps and am spending them all on DLC.

It seems to me that the odds have gone to the crapper again as of today. Lost 2/2 and stopped. Can anyone else verify this?
I was getting 100% the past 3-4 days, and would rather refrain from using caps again until the odds go back up.

You're just playing at the wrong time of the day.
You're just playing at the wrong time of the day.
if that's true, that's very selfless of you to state / re-state to all of us.:applause:
i'll try again at a more strategic time.

Yeah, for a few days there recently the winning streak was back to 100%...many others have said that losing is back but I've only played one cap since then and it was a winner. Some say that if you are wanting 360/PS3 tracks, the last day of the contest should be 100% wins b/c all the days that all of the tokens were not met/won, they add them to the final day of the contest to get rid of them.

i've heard this too zeb, but i figure a lot of people will take that strategy. at least right now a lot of people should be dumping their caps into the RB:B pack, so I expected the odds for regular old DLC to be respectable.

I went 3:4 today so 75% of them were winner's I got Take me out by franz ferdinand and Toxicity by SoaD and the 3rd cap I got Smooth Criminal and gave it to a friend.

Anyone had problems downloading Kaiser Chief's "I Predict a Riot" for the PS3? The code I was just emailed does not work.

edit: Nevermind, just read the HMX thread.
I hope they bring back more Wii points.
Yes please, next person that finds out they restocked wii codes, post in font 7 size and just say wii.

Thanks. I'm waiting to score another $20.

It just occurred to me, but what do you think the odds are on these Beatles bundles?

It appears you can get over $0.50 / cap on eBay, so if the bundles are only $250, you could guarantee yourself at least one bundle for 500 caps by just selling them on eBay.

Do you think you can get a bundle for under 500 caps?
I wonder...
Eh, probably.

Of course this is assuming you find your caps by some other means than buying them. If that's the case, just don't buy 200 or so Pepsis.
