Persona 3 Fes and Arcana Heart each $26 on amazon

is arcana hearts any good? i keep seeing it all over and never even heard of this game. the fact that's by atlus has me intrigued though.
 
ALRIGHT! Finally ordered Persona 3: FES with the $5 Atlus code. So now I got two copies of Persona 3. Thanks OP!

Atlus is only the publisher and only responsible for localizating the game. Bu yea it is a good game.

I have the original Persona 3 and that worked perfect on my 80 gig PS3.. i would assume FES would work the same??

the game is ok but worth getting at that price.
 
I'm biting on both... FES is actually in my gold box... Hard on my wallet this month... Ninja Gaiden II, MGS 4, SSBB & now these... argh!

I just bought FES a few days ago for $29 or so. I wonder if they'll give me the difference back. I've heard other CAGs say they've done that before. Anyone know who I have to contact over at Amazon? Thanks OP!

Okay well that makes me feel better :) Guess I should have done this a lot in the past. I had no idea until recently they even did that. I know a lot of retail stores do within 30 days or whatever but I've never heard of websites following suit. I'm going to have to keep a close eye on past purchases from now on ^_^

blah i just bought FES the other day. stupid tax on amazon is ruining things for me anyway.. they need to drop their NY affiliates already :(

Over in the FES thread in PS2, says it works. I had original P3 and worked perfect on my 80gb. But I was reading the FES has occasional hiccups with save files and saving. Check the thread out.

i have a 60gb and oddly it shuts off my control every time i turn the game on. not a big deal but strange to say the least.

Wow, there's another $3 I lost because I used the coupon and it's considered a "promotion".

So that's...-$3 I saved! ($5 I lost on Metal Saga, $3 I lost on Arcana Heart, but saved $5 with Atlus code) >_<

I'm never using another coupon again on Amazon. Just ain't worth it the way they change prices. >_
 
I just purchased P3 (orig) at GS used, no manual for $18 last week. I think I'm going to return and get FES, even with the tax in NY.

EDIT: Return the game, and somehow I got ~$27 back. Retail price for P3 used is 24.99, so I think the oh so intelligent guy behind the counter just gave me the regular price plus tax. good deal.

Every PS2 game does. The controller does not turn off or PS1 titles.

It's been mentioned previously, but both games should run fine on a 60gb or 80gb though Persona 3 has had reports of corrupted saves.

I don't think either of these will be $20 in two years. Maybe, Arcana Heart will be around $25+ in 2 years.

Persona 3 FES will definitely not be $20 in two years, unless, Atlus decides to reprint it. That scenario is doubtful because the PS2 will have a lot less support in 2 years than the PS3.

i wont be so sure about that. Evey EB seems to have multiple copies when Persona 3 was gone in about a month. And Odin Sphere dropped to $20 a year after release.

But Odin Sphere was difficult to find until the reprint (for EB/GS sale). Still, I think the more recent DDS/Nocturne reprint is proof enough that when (not if, the game sold too well) we get Persona 4 stateside, reprints of P3 will follow.
 
Finally broke down and got this..

It's been a while since my last RPG nerdgasm. I'm gonna put a few solid drunken weekends into this game. ;)
