Phobias!

my phobias are...

- Spiders... i fucking hate them.
- Failure... my biggest fear, i'm such a pesimist that i always thing i'm gonna fail.
- Being paralyzed or having to get one of my limps amputated.
- Drowning
 
Seriously, there's a disproportionate amount of CAGer's that hate the those of the spidery persuasion. Maybe there's some subliminal hypnoses (plural) going on in the current crop of video games. Hmmm, I smell conspiracy theory.

Which makes me wonder how many people had the screaming fits about spiders when they saw:

LOTR: The Return Of The King
Aracnaphobia

Just to name a few.

Though, for me, I don't have any phobias. At least, none that I've found rummaging around in my psyche.

I used to have a phobia about bees but I am pretty much over it now...

However, my phobia of lightning was reinforced last night when I was nearly struck for the third time in my life. I lost my hearing for a bit too. Scared the SHAQ-FU out of me....

When we went on vacation we went to the Grand Canyon. On the way back it was already dark I start telling the kids a scary story about some guy that lives in the hills called Scary Larry. So I pull over and turn off the lights to scare them and actually scared myself with how dark it was out there. :shock:

I actually like bees. If I sit near them they might crawl on my shirt, but they just fly away.
 
i also have this really strange phobia... well its actually a reaccuring nightmare i have. Anyways its about Moxio showing up at my house in the middle of the night wearing a sailor outfit. I try to get away but he's just too fast for me... he catches me and throws me against the wall. Then he starts to take his pants off and thats when i wake up in a cold sweat with the sheets sticking to me.

Anyone remember the room with the bigass spiders in the first Resident Evil? I had a hard time making ol Chris walk in there. The first time I walked into that room I freaked. I seriously had to steel my nerves to go in there and kill those damn spiders.
