14ty6pu.jpg

Explore more of the hidden shadows of the Sith with this sequel to the hit game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Starkiller, Darth Vader's apprentice, returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader -- but instead of training his protégée as a ruthless assassin, the dark lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. The chase is on -- Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller.
With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsabers, Starkiller cuts a swath through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars films -- all in his desperate search for answers to his past.

Second Prize - The Godfather II (XBox 360 or Playstation 3, Winner's Choice)

2r7rklj.jpg
2hz61ig.jpg

The Godfather II game goes beyond the film's story by setting players in the world of organized crime in 1960’s Florida, Cuba and New York.
After being promoted by Michael Corleone to Don of New York, players expand to new cities, as they build up their families through extorting businesses, monopolizing illegal crime rings and defeating new families in an effort to become the most powerful mob family in America. To help players manage their empire, The Godfather II introduces "The Don's View" -- an innovative strategy meta-game that allows players to oversee the entire world as they grow the family business. Using the Don's View, players will be able to build, defend and expand their crime rings, while keeping an eye on the movements and plans of the rival families. Players will also learn to master the business of organized crime by building a family of Made Men, hiring crew, handing out orders, and promoting their best men up the ranks.

Third Prize - You're in the Movies (XBox 360)

e00het.jpg

This is the game only, no camera included. Get ready for your close-up. You're in the Movies brings the cool factor to kitsch as you live out your dreams of becoming a scream queen, zombie or kung fu fighter. This game is the first and only game of its kind to literally transport players into a magical world of cinema mixed with the hilarious world of improvisation. Using the Xbox LIVE Vision camera, players’ actions are captured and placed into short, riotous films. Performances never end up on the cutting-room floor, and are never the same.

Fourth Prize - James Bond 007: From Russia with Love (Playstation 2)

2qxvyip.jpg

James Bond 007 : From Russia With Love will be the first game to put players in the universe of the classic James Bond films. Set in the original 60's Bond era, the game features movie-based missions as well as original, action-intensive sequences, a broad and deep variety of gameplay, fully-integrated vehicles, social multiplayer experiences, gorgeous women, and classic, upgradeable weapons and gadgetry with modern mechanics.

wait, so you ordered a shit-ton of these for $5.32 at Amazon, and now jacking up price by $1.63 and killing it with the shipping? we call people like that 'hoarders' or 'whoaredors' (if your female)

I think the tags for this thread are starting to be moar true..

Right, because there's no possibility that he got them from somewhere else, like, say, the same place that Amazon (or the third-party seller on Amazon, whichever it was) got them from?

I mean really, I'm all for calling out people on their bullshit (and if he did indeed order them from Amazon then shame on him) but come on . . .

I don't know why I bother clicking in this thread. It's like I know that shipping will kill the deal but I'm always hopeful that somehow, someway, the price in the title is the actual price. I guess that actually points to how stupid I am...

ok, i'll give you that, maybe a little too harsh, but I was just saying...some of the GDD deals are sometimes too coincidental to other deals that happen in the past on here..and usually within a time frame of 2-4 weeks after said non GDD deal.

he will never add the damn price of the shipping on his title or his OP.

I been stating this same shit at least 400 or 600 posts back.

i been successfully ignored all those damn times.

Well, think if it this way -- if he got them from the same place that Amazon/the Amazon seller got them from, it would make sense for the deals to turn up around the same time, because of when that original source got them and was selling them.

I mean really, I have no idea where he got them from, I just think that blasting him that hard on pure conjecture is a little out-of-line. I also kind of doubt that he got them from Amazon just because $1.63 isn't much of a mark-up to make from a game that people may or may not care about enough to actually buy (I know that I'm marginally interested, but the shipping kills it for me). Depending on how many he got, he could be sitting on his stock of it for a little while, so it seems like that would be a bad investment.

crodz -

I wonder how much he pays cheapy for the ability to post misleading post titles.

Because if he were just a regular person who posted this as a deal, everyone on CAG would yell at him for not including the shipping price.

token - i agree with arcane. There are clearinghouses with shitty old games and they supply biglots, five below, dollar store, as well. He couldve gotten them from one of these places. I doubt he just bought a shit ton off Amazon. Doesn't amazon have 3 game limits now for amazon sold video games?

Thought we had a good price on this one!

We ran this deal on our site a couple months ago at $9.95 and it was a good seller. We've also been selling them on ebay for around $10. I didn't know Amazon had them cheaper, but this is the lowest we can do based on our cost.

ah, yeah, see I was just too quick to post I guess. It makes sense, and I'm sure Amazon has a limit, they need to at least..

This thread is only good for teh lulz anymore.

That being said, Dr, i got your pm asking as what I was referring to about your selling of bootleg games. I was referring to a post I made about buy your grabbags for xbox and ps2 a while back and over half of the games included ended up being bootlegged games. I dont make this accusation lightly either. It is based on these games would not work on my systems at all, however they worked perfectly on a friends consoles that are modded to play bootlegged games. Also, upon inspection of the discs it became kind of easy to tell they were boots due to certian logos, holograms, insignias etc not being where they should be or being spelled wrong.

Well, you could have just responded to the PM. But I guess I'll address it here. I'm fairly good at recognizing bootleg game discs. The label art is usually fuzzy and the underside usually looks like a regular CD. I don't know of any "bootleg games" that are designed to only play inside specific "bootlegged systems", but I guess it's a possibility that they do exist. If you do truly feel that you were sent fake game discs, I will reimburse you to send them to me so that I can take a closer look.

Thanks
FYI - yes, the white build-up is LIKELY white buffing solution (usually from jfj buffers). People who suck at resurfacing games tend to have this problem. On full-sized discs, some usually gets in the little groove on the outer lip of the artwork side (and sometimes the underside) as well. That bit is much harder to avoid. None of it affects the disc's playability.

HOWEVER, gamestop shouldn't be telling ANYONE about buffing. Order a used last-gen game from their website for an example. Their drunken-koala buffing specialists hack the hell out of discs. At least 80% that I've gotten from them I've had to rebuff myself because they were just terrible. I think they hand buff discs with brillo pads, maybe.
Haha agreed. Gamestop.com is horrid, their cds come 100x worse than anything gamedealdaily.com can muster for last gen stuff. I liked ordering online cause of the pricing, but I always had to swap the game out at a local store. Its like they resurfaced their games with kitchen knives.
I don't know of any "bootleg games" that are designed to only play inside specific "bootlegged systems", but I guess it's a possibility that they do exist.
Generally, what that means is that the game disc was reproduced without the copy protection measures (game discs are easy to reproduce; the copy protection, not so much). A normal, non-modded system will see that there is no copy protection on the disc and will refuse to play the game, whereas a "bootlegged"/modded system will skip over the copy protection check and will play the game as normal. So yeah, it definitely does exist.

Unfortunately, when you're just buying discs up in bulk like you do, you're likely to get some of those, and sometimes it can be hard to recognize them just by looking at them. It's another one of the downfalls of buying that way.

My guess would be that in the vast majority of cases where people get these, they just write them off as non-working discs and never go as far as testing them on a modded system, and therefore never have any idea that they're bootlegs.

For anyone who got the Xbox 360 controllers: How was their quality? At the price of $21 shipping included it sounds like a steal, however I really would like it to be just as good as new with buttons as springy as normal and the dumb stick not being weaker or ground down a bit. Thanks if anyone can let me know!

That's actually not a bad deal, and this time both games come complete with everything.

$25 shipped for both? Not bad drfrieldgood, not bad at all ;D

I just got mine yesterday and I can honestly tell you it feels like a new control. All the buttons were responsive and didn't feel mushy or anything like that. It will probably take a week to get to your house, like mine did.

I got my gamecube games from the grab bag the other day: Smash Bros, Sonic Adventure 2 and Zelda Ocarina of Time.

2> I tried contacting you for over a month through your webiste, numerous times, with no reply or even acknowledgement of my communications.

3> No, I wont return these disks to you as after a month of trying to deal with you I just wrote off the money as a loss and learning experience and threw them away. It should not take that long for you to acknowloedge anyone if you are attempting to be a legitimate business.

Much better than having to deal with no customer service.

Are these going to be unplayable like the gamecube titles?

Because I'd much rather spend a few dollars more for a copy of the game that will work.

Do people realize that, when they post their generic "complaints" about this guy, without having actually done any business with him, the only thing they are doing is bumping this thread and giving his business more exposure? I am guessing it has zero other effect considering he is still in business.

Nope, the tons and tons of complaints have caused me to know not to buy from them, ever, even if they offered the best deal this forum has ever seen.

Well, it apparently hasn't done enough to stop him from turning a profit after like 2 years, so I don't know what to tell you. But I think you completely missed the point I was making. There was, after all, a reason "complaints" was written as such. Complaints are legitimate. There are people, though, who just troll this topic and don't actually have any experience dealing with his business. And all they are doing is helping him by bumping the thread.

I was going to get re5 for xbox 360, but $5 for shipping kills the deal. Total would of been just about $15 for the game and I could get it cheaper locally or @ gamestop as well.

what's the difference between like new and like-new? ;)

Updated with today's deal on Prey the Stars, brand new and factory sealed, for DS.

Trying an experiment today to see how including the shipping cost in the price affects traffic and sales. In the past, it hasn't been good for either.

I think personally for your daily deals for your site, you should just incorporate shipping into the price and mention "free shipping", which would probably make people feel more inclined to purchase, regardless if they are CAG or just the general public shopping. The less calculations, the less thinking, the more things that seem to be free, will help make the customer feel like they are benefiting more than just the average deal. This way, people can still see the $5 shipping, and complain just the same. But this is progress, so glad to see you are at least proactively trying to meet the gamer's needs.
