Warning: Rants, Rants, Rants ahead

Hot Topic doesn't have anything cool anymore other than "girl pants for men" (...what the fuck?) and lousy bandannas, and horrendous ugly Mario/Halo t-shirts that nobody wants to wear. Oh right, then there's the band tees. What Hot Topic is most certainly famous for...except for the fact that I don't give a fuck about Band T-Shirts. The other day when we went to Hot Topic my friend was saying: "OMG DUDE AN IRON MAIDEN SHIRT" and I was telling him how the shirt was such an ugly piece of shit. And my friend kept saying "well Iron Maiden is better than Pantera and all those bands you like" and I was saying "dude...I didn't say that the band sucked. I'm saying that that shirt is a horrendous piece of shit, and that they probably didn't spend enough time carrying about the design when all they have to do is put their name on it and it's sold." And it just seemed like he couldn't comprehend me. The band tees for some of my favorite bands are the worst pieces of crap ever, and the worst bands have all the good tees. It's just odd. ...But yeah. I looked online, since most stores don't have anything good compared to their online counterparts, and so I found 1 thing out of the thousands of things that they had.

Decent price for it...and I wear it pretty often now. ......I really don't know where i'm going with this. I'm just really really really bored right now. ..This sounds like a topic made by a 14 year old girl who doesn't have anything else to do with her life. ..*sigh*

Somebody post so we can have something to talk about. Post how your day went or whatever.

stop making fun of him. We all can dress the way we want to. I like the jacket.

Well, i posted a pic to prove my point! It doesnt matter what you look like!

What is your point? All you're doing is flaunting your Emo-eqsue nature like it's something to be touted and praised. We get it. You're _ _ _ . Please take it somewhere else now.

i thought this was a joke thread at first... i opened it, read the OP and laughed because i seriously thought the OP had succeeded in burning some Emo's. Didnt realize the OP was actually an emo and that this was a serious thread. Odd.

LOL, I thought he was trying to rip on some emos too. Weird

This whole thing is just annoying the hell out of me. Since when did it become okay for young men to dress/act/apply makeup like females? Good Lord, be a man OP!

You say it doesn't matter what you wear; I say stop facilitating the emasculation of the American male!

This emo style is nothing more than an attention whore move by people who want to look like they're somehow more intellectually, emotionally open people than others and it's all bullshit.

This thread is a PERFECT example of that mentality. Grow up.

Seriously, what was the point of this thread other than to say, "HEY! LOOK AT ME! NO REALLY! LOOK AT ME OR I'M GOING TO BE FORCED TO CUT MY WRISTS!"

FACT: A piece of fabric does not define who you are.

Odd. I was thinking the same thing. What exactly are you trying to prove, OP? That you can apply make-up and dress like some MCR reject? I don't get it.
fuck masculinity.
Mask fuckulinity.

(i dunno, i got nothin' for this thread.)

Maklershed's prediction: A mod will check the IP of Danomano and Jack-Hunter and at least one will be banned. I'm pretty sure it will at least be Danomano.

Somewhere, there's a gay beefcake porno with the same title.

Emos weren't invented yet back in 1998 when I finished high school, so I dunno exactly what they're trying to be, but they kinda look like watered down goths to me.

I don't get why kids wanna classify themselves into some small clique. Why not just be who you are, rather than trying to fit into some premade personality? If who you really are isn't considered 'cool' to other people, then screw em.

Oh yeah, I do wanna say that I'm at least glad that emos don't wear their pants around their ankles like the hip-hop gangsta wannabes do. :)

Yeah emo's are like goths combined with a healthy amount of child molestation.

My uncle touched me funny so now I dye my hair, paint my nails and act like a girl b/c uncle Bruce made me wear a dress.

Get therapy, emo's piss me off and I love the fact that punks kick the shit out of emos. The catch is that the emos like it. fuckin masochists.

Sorry OP for thinking this was a joke.

Kind of looks like your in the Matrix and about to raise up for a crane kick.

No reason to apologize for thinking it was a joke. He MS Painted an MCR helmet onto his head...

Haha, and you expect people to take you seriously?

Separated at birth?

And what's with the bizarre wannabe gang sign with the sausage fingers? "U DOWN WIT THE EMO, HOLMES?"
Have you guys ever seen a "scene kid"?

Same kind thing as Emo.........only worse!

What the fuck is that? Is that like the current version of the rave kiddy? Or maybe a spunky rock-popper, "trying to be SO hard but cute at the same time, tee-hee" a la Ashley Simpson or some such tart nonsense?

And seriously, this topic isn't a joke? I thought the OP was mocking Jack-Hunter, and posting a pic of another Emo-tard.

You know whats sad?...i knew many women in high school that look exactly like that, i was good friends with one of them until she decided to be a cunt and slit her wrists in the School bathroom. she lived but i couldnt stand to look at her anymore without being disgusted.

So what do the parents of emo kids think about their kids? Anyone here have an emo kid? Do you just think he/she is being creative?

What about you emo kids? Do any of you ever think about how you might make your parents feel about you? You don't want to make your parents feel proud of you? Do you guys think that you will be looking like that when you are in your 30s, 40s? Are there any old emo people interviews, or did this emo thing start recently?

Well if they survive high school, they enter a cocoon on their summer break before college and transform into proto-hipsters in time for college.

Then after college, they become full fledged hipsters.

There is no way to understand the teenager....I used to walk around in torn up sneakers, urban fatigue cammie pants, untucked dress shirts and wear a sloppy mullet. It was the fashion at the time. :p

Then you go to college and suddenly all that "high school shit" you leave behind because it seems so juvenile and now you are an "adult" and "don't need to associate yourself with a group to be an individual".

Dressing Emo means you cut your wrists...because everyone ELSE does. So if you are of parenting age, and your kid goes emo, beat the shit out of him.....in other words, fulfill his dreams: "Ok, you want to be sad and emotional
about how miserable your white, priveledged upper middle class life is.......I can make that happen for real". :) This phenom is covered quite well in the opening verses of HOliday In Cambodia by The DK's.

Punks, Emo's, Preps, Greasers, whatever...its all just the High School Uniform.

Unless you're in Japan, where because your entire society is fucked up, that kind of shit plays well into your 40's...when you'll still be single and living with your mummified parents.
