I don't really get it. See, I can memorize lines fine for acting since there's plot progression to help me memorize. And I enjoy acting. But with foreign language convos (since I had to do this shit for French I and II, but now that I'm in year 5 it's more grammar and sentence structure) it's stupid shit like "Hi you come to school how?" and "I come to school ride bus you?"

So I can never remember it since it's so fucking random. I could sign/speak it fine if it was in front of me, but I fail to see how making me remember the actual convo helps me in any way.

ASL has a bizarre sentence structure, additionally the locational stuff makes it even more difficult (the one I always think of is a car crash, I think they're called identifiers, you make a three with both hands and have to literally show if the cars hit head on, or into the side, etc). I thought they were stupid, but better than having the random convo with the professor where if you miss something you're screwed.

Bizarre sentence structure indeed.

It's hard to get used to since it's tough to get out of the mindframe that ASL is a version of English when it really isn't. It's a whole different language and as such it doesn't function like English.

I find it a bit easier since my uncle is deaf and emails/writes to me occasionally and his writing is written like ASL is signed, so I'm sort of used to how it forms, leaving out things like 'the', 'an', etc.

Nice Valentines, Casey. I found these AWESOME Godzilla Valentines about four years ago and bought about ten boxes of them. I should have kept a few, but I gave them all away. Which is cool, they were the worlds best valentines ever and I was glad to give them to friends and all. But I regret not keeping any.

I've got it, but haven't tried it yet. I was actually going to try Innocent Life first. But I'll see.

However, I am looking forward to the alternative coming out "Harvest Moon DS Cute". It's the same game but you're a girl and you can LIVE WITH ANOTHER WOMAN AND HAVE A KID!!!

The new Wii & DS versions come out in May or June. Tree of Peace & Island of Happiness (I think) are the titles. I know you can raise an ostarich and ride him!!

Maybe it's because of the lack of competition, but I'm finding this new Survivor pretty entertaining. I suspect it's mostly because of all the T&A though. Sheeit, there was a tit and taint slip on tonight's episode. :drool: It's not like I'm even a fan of the series, I haven't watched it since the first one and the one where the hot chick from The View was on.
