playoffs

In that Charger game in OT Marty had the worst play calls he went too conservative when they were on the Jets 25...THREE STRAIGHT non productive inside runs...He should've taken a shot at a pass or run a draw or outside...ughhh....after that and the Field Goal miss all the air went out of that team...The Jets had more aggressive play calling in the end...I'm not interested in any of today's games though....

I knew the rams were gonna win that game. The seahawks' receivers couldn't catch a std if they had a gangbang with Courtney Love...Now that I think about that it makes them look good but you get what I'm trying say.

I am a colts fan and live in Indy i could not agree more. I do think that they will have trouble in new england next week though. I went to the new england game last year and was ugly
I'm jealous. One of the anti-perks of being a Colts fan in NY. :( I AM going to Boston next week if they win, though.
Hey Rich, I'm a colts fan in NY too.. Most people here are all for the giants. Where in new york do you live?

Jerry Rice should be disgusted to be playing with that group of no good scrubs. It's like an epidemic of not catching easy balls. Poor Hasselback, he's a damn good QB, with recievers that make him look bad.
I would love to see the Colts play the Steelers, best O v. best D.

Jerry Rice? Playing?

No passes were even near his way, and he barely played. You should say "Jerry Rice should be disgusted to be sitting with that group of no good scrubs on the field".

Jets win! Yeah. That personal foul was so dumb, but it doen't matter now that the Jets won. No matter who the face next round (Steelers or Pats) I think the Jets are done.

Well as I type this Dallas Clark just scored to put the Colts up 21-0.

I still can't believe some people on this board actually thought the Colts would lose to the Broncos. Idiots.

John Lynch is idiot numero uno
Come on...we all knew the Broncos were gonna get their asses kicked.
Apparently not. Here's some predictions from some CAGs in the playoff prediction thread :

CaseyRyback had the Broncos winning 27 - 14 and added "Gonna be great when Peyton chokes"

Follandboy had the Broncos winning 27 - 24.

CrashSpyro123 had the Broncos winning 34 - 30.

snotknocker had the Broncos winning 35 - 13.

FrankMcCutcheon had the Broncos winning 41 - 10.

nineinchclown had the Broncos winning 34 - 21.

These people are STUPID and should not be allowed to watch football anymore because of their stupidity, especially CaseyRyback, snotknocker, and FrankMcCutcheon.

Might be harsh, but its true. Only an idiot would think the Colts, with one of the best offenses in the history of the NFL, would only be able to score 10 points IN Indianapolis.

The guy who said the Colts would only get 10 @ home had to be kidding. As I type this it's Den 10 Ind 35 and..the Broncos just got a TD so it's gonna be 17 Ind 35. with about a min left in the 3rd. Denver might make it respectable but they aren't going to win it.

I say Pack over Viks, Hopefuly Rams over Eagles, I'll get back to you on the other games

Now hopefully Peytons hard times against the Patriots lasts for one more game. Gonna be hard for the Pats with their banged up secondary though.

Yeah, 14-0 after their first 2 possessions.
Everyone's been talking about how bad Minnesota's D is, well they forgot that the Packer's D sucks too.

Bring on the pats. They are without ty,and a beat up secondary that is a good thing for colts. I think colts/pats could be one of the best games seen this year. Of coursse as stated earlier I am a colts fan and would love to see them win.. If they get by pats you can count them in the bowl

What about the Steelers? Also, if the run game gets nowhere and NE brings a solid pass rush which is likely their plan then the condition of thier secondary won't matter as much. And what the hell is up with the Packers so far?

pitt is a good team no arguments there. I am sure will beat pats next week as cotls have some payback in mind lost last 3 regular season and last playoff game to them. I had fealing vikings would do this just not this bad I predicted them to win severall post back.

lmao@ the packers defense, ive never seen anything more pathetic in my life. after giving up 17 points, they have the balls to stand up and celebrate, gimme a break!

Hard not to pick aganist the Colts after they choke constantly. they are even worse than the Eagles, when it comes to choking.

They get all the attention as this awesome team that can do anything, when they are no where near an elite team. When they get their ass handed to them by a banged up Patriots team, I will laugh, even harder because you called me stupid.

and 14 points was not all that unreasonable. I watched that Ravens game a few weeks back, and they held the ball for pretty much the whole game, and could only muster 21, and this was a playoff game

eh? colts choke even more than the eagles????!!!!

C'mon Eagles made it to the nfc championship game 3 times in a row and lost. NOW THAT IS CHOKING!

Anyways, I am hoping the colts can pull it off this year...

Nice pick by Favre leads to another quick 7 by the Viklings.
Its easier to watch these games when you don't really care who wins.

everytime they get into a big game, they do something stupid to ruin their chances of winning.

Case in point, even Donovan McNabb isn't dumb enough to let the same guy pick the ball 3 times.

They have been a good team for the past 6 years and only making one AFC championship game is pretty shitty considering their record over that span.
man, Did anyone else laugh when Farve threw that illegal foward pass? That reminded me of my street football days.
i've been laughing the whole game. i've been a packers fan for 10 years and i've never seen a team so poorly coached, celebrating tackles. CELEBRATING TACKLES, wtf are these guys on defense paid for!!!!!!

If they lose to the Patriots they won't "get their asses handed to them". Last year in the playoffs they lost by 10, and in the first game this year they lost by 3. Not exactly an ass kicking.

You WERE stupid because anyone who watches football KNOWS how pathetic the Broncos are. Shanahan cannot win a playoff game without John Elway. Period.

So if the lowest the Colts scored ALL SEASON was 20, and you predict 14, how is that not unreasonable?

Its funny you saying "all they could muster against the Ravens was 21". Y'know, a lot of teams manage to "muster" a lot less than that against the Ravens, including the Jets and the Eagles WITH T.O. this season. If you want to play the "all they could muster" game, how about New England only getting 13 against the Jets?

Yeah, Peyton LET him pick the ball 3 times. Its not that Ty Law is a good cornerback who did a good job covering his #1 receiver or anything. And I guess Peyton Manning is the first QB to ever throw multiple picks to the same defensive player, right?

You saying "they choke more than the Eagles" just proves you know jack shit about football.

The Colts seem to really be clicking this year, but we'll see if they can get over the hump finally. Peyton is due to have a bad game, and whoever goes out on a limb and picks correctly when he will choke will look like a genius. Personally, I wouldn't bet against him because he has so many weapons to throw to, but the Colts D is still pretty shabby and will probably cost them against N.E. or a ball-control team like Pitt.

I wish that guy who was here yesterday telling me how the Vikings were awful and would get completely destroyed was here now. The Vikings A-game can match up with anyone, just they aren't consistent enough to be among the NFL's top contenders this year.

Favre=SUCK. I could throw better on the Vikings defense. I thought for sure that the Pack would rip the crappy Vikings defense up, but apparently Favre is super overrated. Scrub....4 picks in less then three quarters. I could see numerous picks against the Steelers, Redskins, or Pats, but this is the Vikings. I'm pulling for the Vikes now, because Favre deserves to lose playing like this.

Oh and about Ty Law picking Peyton thrice last year the referees were AWFUL, I mean Harrison's shoulder pad was pulled all the way out by Law when he got one of those picks and there was no call. This is why the NFL redid the rules making calls on CB's rougher. Peyton=not stupid. The Refs were pitiful in that game, don't hate on Manning.

The Broncos had looked good the past couple of games, and Mike Shanahan has more wins than anyone in the past 10 years, which means he can still win without John Elway. Also aside from the 2 super bowl wins, he never could win the big game, so they needed each other to get over the hurdle and get a ring.

Also, it is Peyton's fault that Ty Law picked the ball off three times. They play aganist each other enough to know better than to do that. also he has other weapons on the team, and it is not like he does not have a good enough running back. If he wants to call the offense, and then he throws three picks it is his fault. No offensive coordinator in the league would have let him keep throwing the ball to that side of the field if they were not getting the seperation. Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne were very good last year, so the argument that all they had was Harrison is weak.

And I stick by my statement in that the Colts have choked more than the Eagles. The Eagles play 6 games aganist bad teams a year so their record is overinflated. Not only that, but McNabb is always banged up when he gets to the postseason (unlike Peyton Manning and the Colts). This has been the first season, where he has not had to put the team on his back and carry them (except he is going to have to do just that, when the playoffs start).

Mora got fired because they would choke in the playoffs. Dungy has gotten them in a position to succeed, but when it comes right down to it, they are always going to be a great team that can't do anything in the playoffs. And it was not too long ago, that people were asking if Peyton was capable of even winning a playoff game, no one has ever said that about McNabb.

I also forgot McNABB NEVER ALLOWED HIS TEAM TO LOSE 41-0 TO THE fuckIN JETS IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS. not scoring a point with that offense is so shitty it is beyond unreal.

colts choke against pats yea right when pigs fly out my ass. The packers look like crap as usuall i think is time for farve to hang up his helmet He is not what he used to be
