PlayStation 4 Pre-Order Thread *GREATNESS OUT NOW!*

Anyone ordered preordered from Amazon and all of a sudden the order disappeared?  Friend of mine preordered a week after E3 and now he noticed that the order no longer appearing in his account.  Contacted Amazon Support and seems the Order Number no longer exists in their system.

My X1 pre-order didn't disappear, but it was cancelled on their end and I ordered as soon as it opened up.

Interesting article here about the new Sony bundle in Europe. Sony is actually having retailers call the first pre-order customers to upgrade to the new bundle. No confirmation for US yet. But do you think Amazon will contact its customers just-the-same for upgrade offer (if it is confirmed here)?

Since I'm getting the DS4 bundle from Amazon and Killzone separately, and that already costs more than the XB1 without the PS Eye included, yeah -- I would absolutely upgrade if offered.

 
that ign article has the guy saying they are still looking at what bundles they can do elsewhere... meaning the US.  he did confirm the UK bundle, but said if they did decide on something retailers would contact everyone....  so there is still a chance we get a new bundle that is worth it and we get a chance to upgrade!!

not a huge deal for me, I can still get 2 games and ps plus for the cost of the xbox one and a year of xbox live if I am not mistaken!  deal!

it's pretty much in hopes that seeing x1 is out first in eur people will hold out for ps4 a week later seeing you get that extra stuff for price of x1.

 
II already set a limit that I can get the X1 on release and the earliest I can cave and get a PS4 then is by the end of January haha.

If this bundle comes to the states and is even remotely available it looks like I will be getting both consoles on release...

 
Awesome bundle, will definitely help Sony if they bring this bundle here in the U.S. too, especially for the holiday shopping season.

Would be cool but I have to agree. If the new bundle will cost as much as Xbox ONe for 9 cents more than my Kill Zone bundle I'll get an additional Controller and Camera and I guess they'll remove the PS+ subscription.

 
What advantage does this bundle give to Sony in the U.S.? XB1 doesn't come with a game here and, if the bundle is offered to people that have already pre-ordered, it just cost them money. It doesn't increase sales. I doubt we'll see this right away.
 
Yeah, I don't think this bundle is coming to the U.S. It's a response to Microsoft including FIFA as a pack-in game with the Xbone in Europe. There's no pack-in game here so no need for a counter.

offering the a bundle upgrade to the pre-orders would open up a ps4 for a non-pre-order person. about half the people on this topic.

Considering both systems are using PC parts that are readily available, I don't see these being to hard to get. Xbox One might be due to the kinect but not sure yet if the demand for it is as great as the PS4.

Just me, or is that not a good deal. PS4 regularly is $400. This bundle is $580. Difference of $180 for an extra controller and the regular edition of CoD:Ghosts. The game retails for $60, so you're telling me the extra controller is worth $120?!?! :shock:

Edit: That mobile link doesn't show or mention the camera at all. When you go to target's main website, you can see the camera in the picture and in the description. But the one with the camera is out of stock. The one without the camera is in stock.

I noticed that as well. NBA 2k14 is also inflated at $89.99. I imagine these price points will be adjusted before they ship?

 
with these bundles coming out it shows these things will not be hard to find after launch and people like mr focus will still think thye will be hard to find.

This will be the wii u launch all over again people find out these things are not selling for couple grand and then return the systems to the stores which means more in stock for people that really want a system. I think it's sick for someone to buy 3-4 systems at launch just to make money when those systems could have been sold at msrp to people that really want those systems.

For some reason, I have a hunch that PS4 will be readily available in December in NA.

If so, some people will feel really foolish, especially those who will pay thousands on ebay in November.

3-4 systems, meh! I'm poised to secure 30-35 systems. It's going to cost me an extra $900 to grease some palms but no one said pimpin was easy. :D/

Kind sir, he probably isn't using his own money (might be using credit cards). Therefore he can flip them and payoff any credit debt within 30 days without paying any interest. Most preorders don't charge your card until it ships.

This is what I do.

I usually sign up for a card with good rewards to reap all the benefits of this magical time of the year.

Guys some people do actually buy tons of extra consoles to over-sell or give to family members. I know one of my friends has already pre-order 5 PS4 from different stores and plans to over sell them to make money on Ebay and Craigslist . I kinda feel bad for the people who just want to play games and enjoy the console themselves and don't actually get one.

I'm definitely not trolling. Surely you'd agree when making an substantial investment or taking on a fair amount of risk one should equip themselves with as much information as possible... hence my recent interest in gaming community sites. (9/15)

That's a smart way to leverage your money and take advantage of reward programs. My 'next-gen launch' venture will be personally funded.

$12,720 - $14,840 to be exact... give or take $0.30 - $0.35 (plus $900 to grease palms and an average of $30 per system for shipping cost).
