if i am not mistaken, didn't sony release color consoles like a year before the ps4 consoles? that is like really at the end of the console life cycle.

Yeah. The white, red, and blue consoles were not released until 2013, in the US at least. This is why I was so surprised to see a white PS4 so soon.

I know, just using other Sony consoles as an example. While the PS3 was released eons ago and took forever and a day for new colors to be available, their current console, the Vita, (besides PS4) had new colors within a year. My point is don't judge Sony's past patterns for their future offerings.

yeah, i agree. sony has been reluctant to release colored consoles. Especially limited edition consoles. i don't think they released any limited edition consoles outside of japan. i know alot of people are not fond of the white color, but i actually like it. since dust is not that visible on it, and it looks cleaner.

For GCU sake most hope disc, but after I tried gta v digital I'm leaning towards digital.

Had to take mine apart an clean lens, plus it reduces heat. /end rant

So how do you pre-order it at Best Buy then? I don't want to pre-order it on the site because of having to pay it in full immediately.

there is no other way, other than preordering it through their website. i doubt it will sell out before release date.

Yup. I've had a PS4 since launch, but can't pass up the opportunity to get a white one to match the PS3. I'd also like to get the 4GB white slim 360 and a 8GB white Wii U if upgrading the storage space isn't too much trouble.

Found it on targets website. So i might pre order from there. Free ship + red card discount. :)

Not sure how risky it would be to try to buy one in the store. I dont want to miss out on getting this deal.

The side of the box looks like it says "Destiny Blu-ray disc". Not sure if its in a cardboard sleeve or official case. But it shows the case on the box.
