Congrats. It was just hell to get that Series X so I didn't want to push my luck. From what I can tell, PS5 sells out even quicker than the Series X so I probably wouldn't have gotten one if I had tried. Once my Series X ships, I am in the clear on trying for a PS5 at Walmart. Are you having terrible weather? That could affect the shipping time. I live in Southern California so I'm fine when my Series X ships.

AAFES takes down the direct link after it goes sold out. Even when you search its no where to be found. Best bet is to keep searching and add it to your wish list once it appears, even it says unavailable. I got lucky...had some downtime, stepped outside with my phone and logged into my account. Noticed an “add to cart,” button clicked and submitted my order. Sending it to my kid brother back home so I’m sure he’ll be happy. I’m curious when it’s going to ship...either way, its a win. Policy actually says you can’t return items in a bundle, but it’s YMMV on whether they enforce it or not. I’ve had success and failures on bundles in the past.

I didn’t even mention a bundle. I just said I wanted to return it. He looked at the packing slip and said I can’t return it because it’s part of a bundle and would have to return the whole bundle. He then said I could trade it in, but I would get less trade in credit. Before he could finish his sentence, I cut him off with “no”, grabbed my stuff from the counter and promptly walked out.

I’ve tried for Sony direct literally every time they’ve had one- and I’ve always been on the hour plus wait. I got through ONCE and then it just put me at the of the line again.Mine's gonna be here two days early. Sony Direct is definitely the way to go if you can.
