Pretty shitty to remove first party games unless they are planning remasters. Infamous doesn't need one, but the Resistance Trilogy with current gen graphics would be a dream.

Anyone play Expedition 33? Game's sitting at 92 Metascore... I didn't really get the hype for the game but wow, that's pretty impressive. Gonna have to give it a try.
I was all set after finishing AC Shadows was going to play Indy...the 33 came out and I got sucked into the reviews. Now that will be my next....course I am the type to do everything in an AC game so still might be awile 🙃

Around my area that (33) is sold out everywhere.

Are FF8 and Mario RPG turn-based?

Zell/Irvine/Squall/Selphie limit breaks and GF Boosts and Mario heavier attacks are all interactive, so they're not turn-based?
Ff is atb which is different. But ignoring that for a moment outside of say limit breaks there are not that many qtes in it.

SMrpglotss is turn based with action commands for regular and special attacks with only items not having them. You can also time guards iirc to reduce damage. You Don't have to do action commands for the majority. But you'll get reduced damage if you don't do themand or combos will end immediately. Outside of the fire ball moves and super/star jump since those do require timing and or button mashing.

I just read E33 is a Soulsborne-like game... welp, there goes my interest.
Difficulty can be tuned to story at any time if you'd like a relaxed playthrough; you might just find you're up to the challenge though! You'd get your money's worth for the journey alone even without the combat because this is one of those rare games that has something for everyone.

It can be hard, especially the bosses but I definitely wouldn’t consider it a Soulsborne-like. And as mentioned, it has difficulty settings which a Souls game would never have.

Absolutely amazing game that I’d strongly recommend to any serious gamer.

How does Expedition 33's Turn-based action compare to Chrono Trigger's system?
No ATB but does have a queue system that can be manipulated with slows/haste. The only real constant is that each side has a complete turn, so even if your party goes twice in a row, the enemies left will all attack on their turn. It plays more like a board game would in that sense there's a player turn and a monster turn.

FYI, Woot has a Spring video game sale highlighted today. Also offering an extra 10% off if the purchase is made through their app (today only). Found a handful of deals there (4 games for $47.xx after tax and discounts). Highlight for me was Armored Core VI (PS4 version, free PS5 upgrade) for $14.99. Add the extra 10% off, and it's $13.50. No telling how long it stays in stock, but thought it was worth mentioning.

‘I’ve had this discussion in another thread here yet be aware woot sells knock off / grey market games, at least for the switch. As a collector over 20 years, I only dabble in North America and JP release. Woot often has UAE and at times French Canadian editions.

Woot is owned by Amazon. Often gets used as a dumping ground for their overstock.

That means sometimes it's European SKUs, yeah.

Don't feed them please. just ignore and move on.

Feed them? At this point your posts and replies are harassment. I’ve been with cag since the beginning.

This is a US based site. Many members I’m sure want to know what type of copy they are receiving. Telling users they may be receiving grey market games is not problematic, especially when purchasing from a US based company.

And your posts are annoying and misleading. UAE games are not knock offs and they are not grey market, they are perfectly legitimate games from another region. People will stop "harassing" you when you stop posting bullshit.

I've been on CAG a long time too and I'm also pretty anal about what I collect in terms of region, original release, etc. but I'm not going around every single thread that just because they're buying something I don't like, saying that it's fake/bootleg, gray market when it's not. You need stop with this nonsense. We get it, you've made your point.

It's perfectly fine to warn people that they might get a game from another region. Woot originally never did, then had a warning on product pages with the normal text formatting, and now has a fairly visible orange box regarding the issue so it's much clearer. Obviously they're doing this because a lot of people are annoyed by that practice.

While I do respect your opinion, your statement is hypocritical. Games from another market is the defacto definition of grey market. This is copied from another forum and not my own words:

“since there's a wide disparity of purchasing power in various countries, a lot of manufacturers will set different prices for their products according to the purchasing power of a location. so because it's cheaper (in USD converted to local currency) to buy ie a camera in thailand than it is in the usa, some retailers will purchase the camera in thailand and then import it back to the USA for resell it for cheaper than the official MSRP and pocket the difference. this is the grey market, buying/selling products that are not intended to be sold in your location. same thing can be said for textbooks as well.

buying grey market items might affect the warranty. ie if you file a warranty claim in the USA for a product intended to be resold in thailand, the manufacturer might not honor the warranty. so these third party retailers often offer their own in house warranty or no warranty at all.”

Damn, this just seems like a game I need a demo for... but regardless, I'm prob gonna try to play it.

I read the same. There’s a ton of hype for it and I’ll probably buy the deluxe edition today. The ‘hand painted’ statue in the CE sounds appealing. I stopped collecting huge CEs years ago since so many had cheap plastic trinkets inside. This statue sounds interesting though I’d like to see it in person.

Much smaller than I thought:

Didn't realize it was a troll. Thought it was someone confused about how Woot operates.
Not necessarily a "troll" but that discussion generally gets derailed whenever it's brought up by that user. The argument can be considered close to it/adjacent enough to trolling at this point. Regardless it's nit worth feeding into outside giving the general boilerplate of woot sells other regions skus. But it was posted frequently a month back I want to say.

Just imagine if it was a Twitter link advertising the Woot video game sale. 🤣

The Atari 7800+ dropped in price to $65, and the doom BFG dropped down to $30 for PS5. Probably finally grab both.
Also noticed they have a CRKD RL Edition Nitro Deck for $30. Definitely worth that price if you don’t have a nitro deck.

Think I’ll wait for some reviews on BL4. The story on three was awful… and Maya… damn it.
I have to agree here. BL2 was the pinnacle for me. I bought into Wonderlands and BL3, didn't finish the former and haven't touched any of the DLC for the latter (even though I bought the pass like an idiot....either for buying the pass or not touching the DLC you decide:LOL:). I got sucked into the hype train and bought copies for my wife and I.

I know Randy has said that the villain will be the best ever, but they can't top Jack and if they bring him back it distills Jack's aura. Granted, I did not play any of the BL3 DLC so maybe they did bring him back...Also, still mad they killed off Scooter...unless they brough him back too:ROFLMAO:
