Playstation Vita Taco Bell Giveaway - Starts January 26th

All wins rely on the timing. The game picks a time and then prize goes live. Once the prize is live, the next code played is the winner. The win is not tied to the code, but the time it is played.
 
thats bullshit i hate this god damn game all ready u have to win by the time the prize is giving away who in the damn world would know that only the promoters know what time to give it away im so frustrated right now i feel like giving up i all ready use my two free codes i got and now im screwed i would not be paying anymore money to taco bell i just rather buy the ps vita when it comes out even though i get jealous and get mad when i see someone winning and its not me x(

Forgive me if this has already been answered but I'ven't found a clear answer on the matter. I know one of the prizes you can opt for in this contest is a copy of LittleBigPlanet for the Vita but that game isn't selected to come out well after the Vita has launched and this contest has ended (some time in June or July I think). I believe I also read (per what others have been saying on here) that if you choose to want a copy of LBP that because it is not coming out to much later they let you also pick something else. Is this correct? Rather, how exactly does this work? Do I say I want LBP and they tell me to pick some thing else because LBP won't be coming out until later so I could then choose ModNation Racers Road Trip. So, question is then, do I get both games or just MNR: RT? If I get both, then why wouldn't EVERYONE choose LBP and then as a result get to choose another game? I mean if you like LBP then that would be a second game to play otherwise you could sell it then for another game.
 
you get another email saying were sorry but lbp doesnt come out till oct. please pick another game, of which is hot shots golf. AND you still get LBP when it comes out

Ok, so wait! You're saying we do eventually get LBP but then are you saying that in the interim all we get instead is Hot Shots Golf OR do we have the option to choose whether we get Hot Shots Golf or one of the other two?
 
@daFees yes, you can choose between HSG, or modracer or mlb the show if you choose LPB and you also get LBP when it gets released in OCT. from what I heard...also If I do not get an email verification by 12pm monday then Ill email the officials again with more information
 
Ok, I'm having an issue with this contest. Per the rules each Sunday night at midnight ET (12:00AM ET Monday morning if you want to be technical) the boasting contest is to reset, deleting all previous entered photos and the votes associated with them. I figured as early as I could I would get the drop on this fact and submit my entry as early as I could that way then I could plaster my entry all over here, my facebook and a bunch of other forums I am on so as to maximize my odds of winning. Sadly my entry has yet to show up. I submitted it at midnight (a few minutes there after to be exact) and my entry as well as many more I am sure are not showing up. The gallery page is stuck on thinking only 2106 entries have been submitted so far.

I looked up and down the rules and there is nothing that says they will only accept a limited number of entries each week. So I understand if their servers are being flooded and are as a result slow to react, but if my entry doesn't show up soon I am seriously going to have to complain because of those 2000+ entries to be the lucky few to have theirs' go through already they are already racking up some nice votes. So, yes, something better happen here real soon or I am going to have to cry foul that these 2000 few entries are getting an early voting advantage on the rest of the entries.

Well I finally got to see the "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU WON! No really you did!" screen through the Dojo on my evo 4G this morning. Only to be met by a non-functioning "submit your address" page that can not connect to the internet to submit my shipping info to Taco Bell. The app kicks back 2 seperate errors, 1-can not connect to internet[which it was connected], the 2 -Invalid birth date [double checked along with all other info just to be sure it was all right].

Well at least I got to 'see' the winner's screen, total app FAIL.

No email from them or anything yet
 
nothing for me yet either, is this some cruel joke, lol I just hope that the winners from the 30-31 of jan. did not fall through the cracks and forgotten about, Has the winners from feb. 1st on seem to be getting there confirmation emails just fine.
 
Anyone get a confirmation email today yet? They seem to send those out in batches and I want to know if it's time to give up hope yet or not lol
 
Man, I sat refreshing the page through about three 15 minute windows. Since the counter hadn't flipped, I entered my code. But... you are not a winner. The counter actually didn't flip for another few minutes after that.

I would think if nobody entered after the trigger, and I put in the code on the 15, I should pretty much guarantee a win. So, I'm having a hard time figuring out the best way to go about this...

Got a response from Taco Bell on Facebook and they said to email:

I sent them off an email and we'll see hopefully tomorrow what comes of it. My bet: the standardized "we are looking into it" bs blah blah blah and still don't know for another week.
 
Yeah I emailed that last Friday and they just told me they were having an issue with the process and to be patient. It's just annoying to see people that won Wednesday getting their emails already >

I also won on the 31st AND STILL no email as of tuesday morning,what about you? any news for you I sent a big email out yesterday afternoon and i did not hear back, whereas I sent one out friday to the sweepspros.com (I cant remember the full name) and I heard back in a couple hours witha generic:"systems are delayed give it a few days" email
 
No confirmation here yet. They seem to be doing the emails in mass so I assume most of us will get one at once when they finally start sending them out.
 
man come on why would they not send out winners for the 26th-31st but send emails from feb. 1st onward its like the winners at the start of the contest fell through the cracks such as myself and others.
 
Weird thing is some of them got an email just not many. I have no idea what could be wrong with their system that makes it skip people randomly.
 
Nah they're just screwing us out of getting our vitas before release lol I'm sure we'll get them...eventually.
 
there was a guy on another forum that won on feb. 1st that just got his email confirmation that it is being shipped to him (a total of 3 emails in all)
 
I noticed on the taco bell fb page they started telling people asking vita questions to email [email protected]. I gave it a try and after a few hours I just got a reply saying they'll pass my info onto the marketing people. They'll probably just tell me to be more patient but if anyone wants to give it a try the into they wanted was your name, email, winning code and date you won.
On a side note if you email the sweeps people directly that is the info that they would need as well I assume.

Is everyone still waiting for there confirmation emails? If I dont hear anything by next week I guess Ill just give up as I dont know what else to do by the. I have called and emailed ect. I would just chalk it up to "that's my luck" oh, if you wanna another email address [email protected] i sent them an email and they said theyd send it over to marketing, so...IDK
 
this is crazy I guess my thing is Im in limbo and I would like to know for sure either I won a vita and its on its way OR I did not win my vita for whatever reason so I can move on one way or another,lol
 
alright now I'm getting worried....
some guy on the taco bell fb page said he manage to get a hold of ventura and they said they had no record of him winning. I should have known it was impossible for me to actually win something I want >
 
Sent out two more SASEs. It's now been literally 2 weeks from the start of the contest. It doesn't take that long to return a fortune-cookie-sized slip of paper with a code.

Between the used codes, the broken app, the rigged first 96 hours, the lagged-posting gallery contest, the in-limbo SASEs, AND people winning and not getting an email in the reported time, I'm not happy with how this is going.

So far, they've messed up on every possible aspect. Every single one.

AND the excuse of "getting hammered with responses" is complete fucking BS for the simple fact that they have an EXACT KNOWN rate of winners to have to verify and could easily make sure that it creates a 96-hour (4 day) window to respond in. This isn't UNEXPECTED in the slightest.

Never heard of ePrize, but Prize Logic is just as bad. They take forever to get in touch with people and they did a pretty good job of fucking up the Find The Ring promotion.
 
yes I check my spam folder alot and still nothing here is a number directly to the people running unlock the box promotion if any one is interested just leave your name and number and a reason for the call and (supposedly) they'll get back with you.

This crap is crap. They haven't given one out in over an hour and a half.

I watched yesterday, and over the course of 12 hours, they awarded 30. Shouldn't they have at least awarded 48 in that time? I've sent an email looking for answers.

I made my big post yesterday and got about a half-dozen likes/comments in 30 minutes. I wondered why it stopped.

Also their voicemail being full is awesome.

And the counter isn't going up as fast as it should? Either they're delaying it to prevent gaming the system (Which I doubt, since there's little of that in place), or rather they screwed up.
