Not sure if theres a post on here about this but the hardcover guide is avail for much much cheaper than the paper guide.

Each guide (paper or hardcover) comes with a pokemon cleaning cloth as well for your 3ds! Guide is also 400+ pages.

I know pokemon is one of those games I need a guide desperately for, especially after the mainline story so I can look for item locations/pokemon locations.

If it makes you feel better it's 11:30 EST and my game's still shipping now. If it doesn't come tomorrow then I can't play it until the 24th since my daughter picks the starter Pokemon and she'll be with her mother until then.

Well woke up this morning and it's arriving Monday... That's the way I wanted to start my day. Now I have to complain to Amazon and get a copy from GS to hold me over. Not sure how they can actually make it right but gonna complain anyway.

 
Lol my GS says they arent getting the guide till Thursday. I really might be rethinking buying it if thats the universal date.

Serebii already has a ton of info up
 
I been using the internet for now but it will be nice to have the guide finally. I just use the guide really for pokemon locations.

How much is it going for retail? I might just buy it at GS and cancel the Amazon order if it's going to be about a $5-7 difference. Amazon needs to get their shit together and fast.

Yeah, something must be up. I mean Bradygames had the GTA V guide out day one. It's odd because they were fine earlier in the year. I know because the Ni No Kuni Hardcover guide was out day one.

Then again there is 2 games with over 50 hours of gameplay easily within 3 months (don't know how long KH 1.5 is but that is another huge game). Could be too much work for Prima to handle.

 
Yeah really disappointed this isn't out yet. I usually get every one that comes out. It says on Bestbuy.com that the release for the guide is 10/15. So I'll check tomorrow.

 
Well I got an email saying that my delivery date for it is tomorrow but it's not gone to shipping or anything yet.  I have little faith after how they handled my order of the game.

 
My money is on this being a mini guide. Lots of those coming out for Nintendo games lately. Plus someone had an actual informative post the last page and it said pocket guide
 
Estimated delivery date is the 22nd for me, and Amazon page is saying the 16th for release still. Says order with one day shipping and you'll have it on release, yet it still would get delivered on the 22nd with one day. Amazon CSR over chat gave me a $5 promotional credit to make up for it being late.

 
So what does this retail for $20? I am half tempted to just go pick this up after work tomorrow instead of waiting the extra 6 days for it. Do PUR members still get 10% off guides?

I figured this would be the best place for insta-feedback...

I have never played a Pokemon game before this past Saturday.  I downloaded X from the eShop and am enjoying it quite a bit.  Played for about 2 hours thus far.  But I have a (dumb) question....

How do I see my 'box' of Pokemon's?  After my seventh catch it put the pokemon into a box.  Where/how do I access it?

At the Pokemon Center in any town, go to the right of the lady that heals your Pokemon and there will be a computer. Interact with the computer and select the first option (I forget the name of the person who's box it is) and then you can deposit/withdraw Pokemon from there :)

 
I really hope Best Buy has it today. Does anybody know if the guide comes with a pokedex cause there isn't too much info online on what moves the new pokemon can learn by leveling up/TM/HM

I wouldn't count on that being right when no stores have it in stock and it's unavailable for shipping. I would at least call them first before going there.

It only says that until you speak with the person who made it, then it updates to "_____'s PC". In R/B/Y, once you spoke with Bill, it became "Bill's PC".

Thats because you need to first find the person that runs the PC Box service in that region before it will change name. For Example in the first games it was someones pc until you meet Bill and it changes to Bill's PC.

Ah, can you tell that I haven't played a Pokemon game since Diamond and I don't think I made it nearly that far? Had no recollection of that until you said it.

Called my local best buy and they don't have it. My local gamestop says they expect to have it between the 16th and the 18th of this month.

 
Quite a few of the GameStops in my area seem to have them in stock. I did the "pick-up in store" option and got a confirmation email, so hopefully it's actually there when I stop by on my way home from work tonight.
