Saying you want HD support because you have an HDTV is as valid as saying you don't care about HD support because you don't have an HDTV. Certainly if I buy something I want to use it. I don't buy things that use that thing, *just* to use it, but if it's a choice between, say, a 5.1 DVD and the same dvd in 2.0, I'll get or listen to the 5.1 to use my HT. If I get a PS2 or Xbox, you can bet I'd be getting PS2 or Xbox games to use on that console. I'm sure there will be the 'graphics whores' who talk about how amazing a game looks, but don't mention how it plays. But that's nothing new, every gaming magazine and site has done their fair share of that back to Genesis days.
I also personally think online gaming [actual online gaming, not just 'downloading content'] is overrated and has taken too much of the 'front page' focus, and I worry about the 'micropayment' system MS is using fo rthe 360. But that's another thread.
Aldi: Well, lots of people first give attention to price, or at least, price does factor in their decision. Personally, 85% of the stuff I get from Aldi is equal to or better than their equivalent name-brand items, and for 10-50% less cash.
Aldi was just a example, Their food is really pretty good I just buy my meat from another store but besides that they get all my no meat food purchases. I LOVE their chips better the the frito lays and name brand stuff IMO.
WTH? I'm 22 and how does using an acronym make me a child? I'm just don't want to type out "Microsoft" all the time. I do the same thing w/ Nintendo by referring them as Big N.
He means the $. MS not M$ please.
