The year is almost up and most of the deals for the year are probably done so I'd like to know what your best buys of the year have been.
It doesn't have to be game related or even cheap. Whatever you think was the best value that works for you.
Here's mine.

Wall mount from amazon for $18! Holds up to 55 inches and up to 165lbs (holding my 52inch). 2 day free shipping with prime.

Faux dark brown leather ottomans for $32 from Kohls. 3 pieces and the inside is hollow for me to put all my game accessories. Very useful and cheap!

Street Fighter 4 SE joysticks x2 for $14 a piece from walmart. Crazy price and these sticks are so fun with many games I have.

Hoody from Pacific Sunwear $50 (random BF mall shopping). The strings that tightens the hoody are earphones for MP3 players (machine washable). Looks nice (black with unique pockets) and I just like it alot.

I wish I could post Red Dead Redemption PS3 for $28 (Amazon) but I missed out on that...

What're yours?

Thats all I can think of but I'm sure I have more.

Not buys but some high points of the year:
Won NCAA Football from Wendys (have yet to receive though)
Won Invizimals PSP bundle from Subway
Won $75 Amazon gift card
 
I don't know what my best is because it is hard to gauge.

I got a 4GB Xbox 360 Slim for $147.99, Sherlock Holmes Bluray for $2.50, Tomba for $1.00, Red Dead Redemption for $24, and when Movie Gallery was closing over the summer I raided a good amount of stuff for cheap. 2 Sealed copies of LBP for PSP for $4.00, Dragon Age Awakening PS3 x2 for $4.00, bunch of other random games ranging from 2-10 including White Knight Chronicles, Pokemon Heartgold, Lunar Star(?), Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010, and other low-end games.

EDIT:

Just bought God of War III and God of War Collection for $22 combined.

I think Mass Effect 2 for free when buying a 1600 points card on Black Friday at KMart is definately at the top.

(FYI I needed the points and am using the game as a gift for someone.)
