There used to be a thread that alerts us of awesome pre-order bonus. I miss that thread a lot!

I searched and only found a discussion thread in the x360 forum on this game.

Anyway, if you pre-order Lucha Libre AAA Heroes of the Ring (from GS) you get an actual Lucha Libre wrestling mask!!! To me, this is just as awesome if not more so than the Sonic Color - Sonic Hat!

Sorry for the over-sized images, tried but failed to resize them...

I ordered the PSP version and used the "SAVE50" code to get 50% off (55% off with edge) a pre-owned game.

Enjoy.

I bet they're nowhere near the quality of the ones in the pictures. It's not often you get a pre-order bonus worth more than the actual game.

Also, I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that the thread title says "get professional wrestling wrestling mask." /thatguynobodylikes

The in-store choice is randomly 1 of the 4, no specific request guaranteed. I'm hoping this isn't the case, but it doesn't say anywhere on the GS website that this is an actual 1:1 sized wearable mask. I'm just saying....

Also: Every customer review of this game on GS.com is about what I would expect a wrestling game fan to sound like, especially this guy:
After playing almost every WWE game from SmackDown SHUT YOUR MOUTH to SVR10 i have played everything in between. So I know a thing or two about wrestleing games. I think this game will have a ton of new fun things to offer. Like the create a fighter with the custom masks and the hair vs hair or mask vs mask match i think it will be a new expierence then the money in the bank match. The graphics look good a litle bit like the TNA game. Which I think the gameplay will be like, the TNA game. I think it would be more of an arcade feel to the gameplay then slow like the WWE games. Overall I think it will be an new expirence to wrestleing fans and possible have some new fans to the AAA world. Im def going to buy this game. WILL NOT DISSAPOINT
I'm tempted cause they're really awesome looking, but I won't because I know at least one of three things will happen. First, they'll be really bad quality. Second, they'll be small to where they won't fit my head. And three, the game will be bad.

I know Party City has lucha libre masks for 10 bucks, but they're made with cheap material and they're pretty small (and I have a big head).

While it is true that they did not say it is a mask that you can wear, but lets hope that it is an actual adult sized one.

Reading the preview on IGN, that reviewer said he was given a mask too, so I'm thinking that's actually one of the same as the pre-order bonus... and he didn't say it's crappy...

I remember reading that this was supposed to be a "budget" title similar to Fire Pro for the PS2. Apparently that's not the case.

I got the blue one from winning a bunch of swag of E3. It isn't the best quality but is the right scale. I have a big head so it doesn't quite fit all of the way. Not that bad though.

i was gonna say the same thing... pretty good quality mask overall

They gave these away at E3 in june for checking out the game. In june the game was running, but needed some polish. Hopefully 3 months of that really helped them.

BTW, the masks are awesome. You can definitely wear them. They are neoprene with the plastic accents sewn on. Masks are laced in the back so you can tighten them to your head
I want that LA Park mask!
I as well! So tempted, but I have so many games pre-ordered right now.....one more can't hurt right?

Very old news on the preorder bonus, but I'd imagine they're like the ones sold at Ring of Honor/lucha libre shows for $15-20: decent quality, but not so great. I've worn some.

I still play Fire Pro Returns religiously. Best $14.99 release day investment I've made so far.

Cyric received his swag package from this years GS conference. Here's the mask he wound up with. You can't see the red ties that hang in the back, except for the bit that's resting on his shoulder.
