Kudos to speedy1961 @ DVDTalk for the heads up. Thx.

Oh, wonderful. Wonderful. You buy Mario Kart for $34.99 at launch, get jack shit.. wait a week, get a bundled in USB connector. I have half a mind to write to Nintendo and ask for one. I was going to pay $34.99 for one off their site, but screw that - if anyone has an extra one or whatever, please PM me, we can definately work something out.

Man.. I really hope that doesn't mean it comes with the free USB thing. I know they gave it out in Canada, but geez.. I'm going to be pissed if they start bundling them in with MKDS here.

I'm hoping they are giving out the Wi-Fi connector with Mario Kart. As Scorch said that would be a bummer for all of us who already have the game.

not a bad price for X-Men Legends for PSP. might have to finally use that $10 off coupon to get it for 20 bucks.

thanks OP!!!

Hm, I wonder if I should try to get X-Men Legends 2 PSP for $19.99 A/C?

I also wonder if by "WiFi Connection" they mean that the game is WiFi-capable. The OP didn't specifically say USB connector included. If the game did come with the USB adapter, that would be a pretty amazing [Nintendo] deal...

uhm, they're not selling the dongle in B&M stores, I'm pretty sure the ad is just stating the game is Wi-Fi compatible

actually they are. However I dont think they have that many to give out so it probably just mean Wi-Fi compatible.

uhm, best buy IS carrying the dongle, and in Canada they bundled the USB connector with Mario Kart (or so I read in some random game magazine), so the idea's not as far fetched as you think.

I'm thinking they just meant that it's wi-fi enabled, though. I hope. I really, really hope.

Best Buy sells the wifi connector in-store.

Actually they are selling the USB dongle at BB... i've seen them before, i almost picked it up so that i could play at my friend's homes who don't have a wi-fi router.

But selling Mario Kart and the USB adapter together is too good to be true!

This is a pretty good sale... might get X-men Legends PSP and a few others with the BB coupon.

Darn, And I was hoping that there would be some really good sales this last week to pair with the coupon, hopefully there is something for the three extra days after that week to fully rape best buy.

Well, if it doesn't come with the adapter, it looks like Target will also have it on sale for $24 starting Sunday.

Darn, that leaves very few days left for the possibility of SotC to drop and bang the coupon on it!     Hmmm, ever wonder if a BB rep is watching this site? Mebbe that's why the deals have slowed a bit the past few weeks, they KNOW we're waiting to jump out of the bushes and beat them senseless with the $10 coupons!

I wonder if the dongle and game will be shrink-wrapped together as a package, or if MK will be individually sealed. At that price, it might not be a bad idea to pick up the package, then sell the game on ebay (and probably get most of your money back).

Isn't the adapter $34.99?

I have seen them at Best Buy for sale, so I know they sell them.

However, I really doubt Mario Kart, a hot selling game already, will include the USB dongle.

I ordered mine from Nintendo and it works great!

i say they didnt do the ad right or its a typo... No1 is going to give you 75 bucks of stuff for 35 bucks

the Wi fi is 40
Mario kart is 35

both just came out... nothing else on the DS side is on sale So dont count on it

i'd imagine the actual ad just has a picture of mario kart ds with the little "wi-fi connection" circular logo on it. i've seen it numerous times now, so the person who typed out the ad probably just didn't know what that meant. if by some freak chance it IS the usb connector, then i'm all over it, but 34.99 for a game and a usb connector doesn't seem likely.

would be a major way to get thousands if not Millions online to play the game though... Maybe nintendo though .... Lose a little money now but gain 10x back later with all these people online (cough cough pay to play coming soon ??_

Didn't anyone notice that MK is $34.99 retail? Why would they advertise something at retail? Also, the game has been out already, so we know it isn't a launch. But I still think it's too good to be true too, so we'll probably have to wait.

they advertise 360 games at retail price all the time, so this wouldn't be surprising. again, i'll have to wait until i see the actual ad. for now, doesn't seem likely.

At that price, it wouldn't be too hard to buy it and sell the game on ebay and keep the adapter. They go for around $20 on ebay so $15 for the adapter doesn't seem too bad.
