It took me 3 tries to beat it, really not that bad once you get the hang of the game. I used the guy with invisible cloak, headbutted those bots that try to run you over, then went invisible and stepped out in front of the big bots and shot them and threw grenades at them. Key is to use the objects in the middle as cover, so you are essentially only getting shot at by 1 at a time and not all 3.

Depends on your timezone really. The loot event for me was 8 pm around and neither i nor the az4 team reside in the us. you have to realize that you may miss out on an event or a few and try pretty hard to hit that one you really want. That and sometimes i forget cube is ONE guy just a home user like us who started the site out of his time and personal cash and has spent the last two straight days region hopping, answering questions in home in forum both his and official, updating his site with the newest home content, tweeting, adding, deleting, readding friends each event, convincing devs to partake and all well into the night for him because he's in the eu. Im so happy he allowed us to even take part in the fun. Plus hoodies with like a million redeems each? Pfft no developer does that let alone just a USER. Az4 man, wish them (him - cubehouse) a happy birthday because he works like a madman for the community in home :)

Anybody doing this has to know alphazone5 will clear his friend's list after every event and only accept them right before each start. So be prepared to be deleted each time then readd him if you want to the next. There are also overflow accounts posted on their twitter and he has been hitting multiple instances to visit others who may have been waiting once a quiz or trivia is wrapped.

Thanks for the info!

Were these items originally party of those bundles and got deleted from everyone's inventory that purchased those bundles? If so, it makes me wonder if there are other missing items from those bundles that have not yet been discovered missing.
 
Got a quick question, how do one get the hoodies for past Tester 3 episodes? I was missing couple ones from episodes 2 and 3 and did watched past them, but never got them, even though the quest for those had been started.

Yea apparently they will be doing some sort of marathon at the end of the last episode so if you missed any you will have time to get any you missed. I assume they will just swap eps each day or something.
 
Ok so with this update theres a new tester quest (w new hoodie reward of course). Also playing through the new game Cutthroats, levelling up to 5 has got me a male and female Captain Skull - 'Bones eyepatch, level 10 an animated ruby skull, and surprisingly no reward for getting to level 15. Going to go for 20 now, but did anybody else at 15 get anything? Would think there'd be SOMETHING....

Edit: i hear theres a jolly roger rug at level 19. There are 31 levels in total to the game.

Theres an issue with that happening for friends of mine also. Mine have carried over, but i hear lots of others have been losing their progress as well. Sorry i dont know more about it.
 
Yea I kept losing my rank every time I left the space as well but looks like they fixed it today cuz my rank saved. Level 24 now i should be in the 30's by now.
 
A pirate mini didn't sound too promising at first. The game's actually pretty fun despite the fact you die every few minutes, lol.

Everyone said the same about Novus Prime, and eventually they added more levels and more rewards, so if it stays popular enough they may add to it.

i believe they hinted it was going to be a tester trophy, but we'll know better tomorrow when it final episode comes out

Really not into this update theres nothing that great it seems so i'll post this in hopes it leads to some free casino chips for fellow CAGers. The casino is running a new 'ambassador program' where if you refer friends to visit the casino for their first time, both you and they get 100 free chips to use.

It's Poker Week in the Playstation Home Casino! This week they are giving everyone 500 free chips so that you can buy-in to one of their many poker tables. If poker is not your thing, you can use the 500 chips on the other games as well.

yea, im also not to fond of home 'trophies', reminds me of old school games where after you beat it, it says congratulation you won, end. I really like when they have companions as prizes more.

For those that want to do the quest, but get stuck trying to find the clues, or just want to complete it in the shortest amount of time, follow these directions:

1. Go to the Hub.
2. Go to the Activity Board and activate the Spring Fling 2012 quest.
3. Go over to the dance floor (you do not have to dance) and wait until the Quest Info alert message pops up (takes 1 minute unless you have been to the dance floor before you started the quest, in which case you might get it right away).
4. Go to any floor of the Mall.
5. If you have taken a Wardrobe War picture this week (reward is the male back pack) then just wait for the HDD symbol to disappear and you will get the next and last Quest Info alert message and will be rewarded the quest trophy.
If you have not yet taken a Wardrobe War picture this week, then do it now and you will then get the Quest Info alert message and trophy.

For those that want to follow the "official' route:

1. Go to the Hub.
2. Go to the Activity Board and activate the Spring Fling 2012 quest.
3. Go to the 2nd Floor Mall.
4. Go to the Featured Items Kiosk.
5. Select the "Spring Fling" icon.
6. Then select the 1st icon "Romantic Gentleman Suit Set (Men)", and on the lower left side of the screen it will say "Go to the...".
7. Then select the 2nd icon "Smoking Hot (Male)", and on the lower left side of the screen it will say "HUB Dancefloor".
8. Then select the 3rd icon "Prettiest in Pink", and on the lower left side of the screen it will say "Dance for...".
9. Then select the 4th icon "Red Hot (Female)", and on the lower left side of the screen it will say "one minute!".
10. Go to the Hub.
11. Go over to the dance floor, and dance for one minute.
12. Go over to the Activity Board for your next clue.
13. Change into Spring themed clothes.
14. Go to any floor of the Mall.
15. Take a Wardrobe War picture.

Also, as of now, there is no reward for watching the finale of the Tester in theater 2. Seems odd, but there it is.

I thought about using alt accounts, but then I did the math...

It takes over 5 minutes to add a user, create a PSN account, log into Home, select an avatar, then go to the Casino.

At about 1,000 chips per hour of my time, even at the $1 for 500 chip price, that means my time is worth only $2 an hour. So unless you have a ton of free time that can't be spent doing something more productive, I would not recommend creating alt accounts to do this.

That said, if you are already creating alt accounts to get free some of the Gift Machine items that are priced at 32 or 16 credits - then you might as well add those names to that website and go to the casino after gifting your main account those items.

Be careful creating alt accounts there is a way to track this and the casino website warns against it. Ive watched some people on the top ten leaderboard drop numbers bc of this. Apparently score and chips will be deducted and you will be kicked out of the ambassador program (apparently).

Ah, I see it now, they added it to the note about having to move to sometimes move to a different space in the Casino. However, I find it rather hard to believe kalasov12179 managed to register 179 "real" accounts who all had never been to the casino before.

Frankly, I would bet anyone with more than a couple dozen are using alt accounts, that or they must have spent a crazy amount of time trying to find people who have not only never been to the Casino, but also willing to go to the casino within one hour of being added by the 'Ambassador'... which again seems like a foolish thing to do when you compare the time it takes to do that and the actual value of those chips to the time it takes to just buy them. All I can say is some people do not value their time very well.
