As of yesterday it was not, but any time you are in the Casino you can check by clicking on the Info kiosk (one is located near the fountain next to the Keno board). Select rewards, and IIRC on the first screen it will show among the list of rewards the current reward for the fountain.

What I usually do is once a week aft an update, when I go to the casino to do the daily slot, I quickly just check the info kiosk.

That said, in the past DL also announced previous fountain reward changes in the message you get when you enter the Casino, so I suspect they will do the same again.
 
Heads Up: Starting Friday, January 11th DL is celebrating their anniversary with a party on the dance floor of the Casino and rewarding visitors with some cake. It sounds like the reward will be available for a well, but you might want to snag it when you can just in case.

It's very easy to get, and is a surprisingly nice space. Just go to the Will (GAW) fishing space (the one with the large tree in the middle and several fishing areas, not the one with the large square fishing area).

Once you enter walk up to the girl under the large tree, and keep pressing X until you get to the screen that has multiple options. The first option shows all the rewards (lots of really nice rewards), but the first is for the personal space and only requires 20 points.

To get the points, exit from the girl, go find an open fishing seat, press X on the first option and it will show you have 10 bait and will cast your line. Wait for the bobber to go completely under water then press X and use your joystick to keep the line in or near the bullseye. When the meter runs out, press X to get your catch.

Each successful catch will give you points. Most are only 1pt each, but some are over 20 pts. If you get unlucky and use all 10 of your bait and still don't have 20 pts, just go back to the girl and click on her to receive another 10 bait.

Once you have collected 20 pts, exit the fishing game and go back to the girl and select the personal apartment and it will cash in your points for it.

I was notified that my winning Cutteridge Estate creative writing entry will be published to the estate space during the next update. Anyone who visits Cutteridge and reads the new update will get a Raven companion. When I'm available to be online (usually late pacific time) I will be happy to host visitors who want this free item.

I won the "Elizabeth Tower" Reward after tossing just 20 chips into the fountain (lowest count ever... usually takes well over 100 for me), so the Tower is now available.

Thanks for the heads up. I got it after just 11 coins. Seems like the last three fountain rewards have had much better odds of getting then the previous ones. Possibly a fallout of a lot of complaints from those that used over 1,000 coins to get a reward.

I got it yesterday too at around 3 pm. It should say in the casino information booth what the reward is. Anyways, it's random, as I spent around 370 chips before I got it. someone else I know spent almost 1 thousand chips before they got it.

Also, it's not Sony's responsibility to respond to something Digital Leisure is responsible of taking care of. DL has their own website and support staff that looks into things like this. However, I think it's working fine, as I got it and people are getting it today too.

I got an email from DL and they are aware of the problem and are currently working on a fix.

It's not working fine, and yes it's Sony's responsibility to communicate with all developers on any issues that come up in Home. In fact, if you call Sony they will direct you to the PS Home Support Forum and then from there they are supposed to notify developers when an issue is reported.

Look, it doesn't impact me, I and many of my friends got the reward early and with less than 20 coins... Just thought some people might appreciate the info so they don't throw away coins.

Casino Birthday Cake is now available. Just go to the dance floor and click on a cake to enter it, and again to jump out of it, and you'll get the reward.
 
Also, anyone that visits an Avalon Keep clubhouse will get 4 guard companions (same kind you see in the Avalon space, full size). There will be a fifth companion once the community goal is met for that house's coffers.

Well it looks like it's still messed up. When you click on the Mysterious Libram it now gives you the option to press Square to read the stories, but not only does nothing happen, but it also locks up the Mysterious Libram. To reset it you have to leave the space and come back.

Also, no reward was given.
 
Hay Bale - Floral [Chair] - Enter the prairie space and walk to the hay bales in front of the screen.

The rest you need to own a LKWD Horse or Unicorn LMO as they are located past the entrance gate.

Prairie Wheelbarrow [Assortment] - Go to the wheelbarrow in the shed area near the entrance.
Prairie T-Shirt [Torso] - Go in the shed near the train. (wasn't working earlier)
Hay Bale - Brown [Chair] - Go to the hay bales behind the shelter near to the train.
Praire Cowboy Boots (Male/Female) [Feet] - Go to the bench near the rocking chair on the side porch of the house.
Rocking Chair [Chair] - Go to the rocking chair on the side porch of the house. (wasn't working earlier)

While I have issues with the pricing of most of these aquariums and additional fish and tank accessories - all of which can easily add up to well over $50, as well as the fact that even if you buy the auto feeder, your fish die if not taken care of within a week, and only 3 days without it... And then you are forced to start over with new fish, or pay a premium to revive them... I'm sorry, but I'm not going to pay a premium to be forced to log in regularly or keep paying to keep them alive in order to try and get the 60 and 90 day old fish rewards.

That said, there are some really nice rewards that you can get, even with the free Goldfish Bowl, which is all that I currently use, until the pricing goes down and they offer a maintenance free option on the premium tanks.

There are a total of 16 rewards:
1 Companion
3 Wardrobe Items
4 Tank Items
8 Furnishings (1 Sofa, 1 Table, 1 Chair, 5 Ornaments)

There is a list of the rewards and explanation on how to unlock each one built into each tank, accessible by simply clicking on a tank and selecting "Rewards".

However, I've categorized the rewards based on how to get them here:

General Use
Animated Fish T-Shirt (Male/Female) [Torso] - Play with your tank for an hour (just be in the same space for an hour)
**Skeleton Fish - Remove a dead fish

Number of Visits from Friends
*Myriophyllum-Green - Have a friend visit your tank
Large Animated Seaweed [Ornament] (5 slots) - Have friends visit your tank 50 times
Large Coral Ornament [Ornament] - Have friends visit your tank 100 times
Hollow Log Bench [Sofa] - Have friends visit your tank 250 times
Goldfish Bowl Head [Head] - Have friends visit your tank 500 times

Unique Visitors
Large Castle Ornament [Ornament] - Have 10 unique people view your tank
**Robot Fish - Have 25 unique people view your tank
Old Diver's Helmet [Head] - Have 50 unique people view your tank

Friend Purchases
*Starfish - Have a friend purchase 1 item from your tank
Sunken Cannon [Ornament] - Have friends purchase 15 items from your tank (says 10)
Floating Jellyfish Sidekick [Companion] - Have friends purchase 40 items from your tank (says 25)

Age of Fish
Aquarium Stand
- Have a 30 day old fish
Sea Shell Chair [Chair] - Have a 60 day old fish
Large Sunken Ship [Ornament] - Have a 90 day old fish

* Tank Item (Any)
** Tank Item (Medium+)

Also, to register a visit by a friend, they do not have to click on your tank, but they must be in the space long enough for the contents of the tank to load before they leave. In addition, the tank does not have to be in the space when they arrive. It can be added and removed while visitors are still in the space, and still count towards the number of visitors. If the same friend visits, it will only count once per day (based on 0 GMT).

If you do not have any friends willing to purchase items from your tank, I believe you can get credit for a purchase by gifting a friend a fish. You can also earn 5 aquabux a day (reseting at midnight GMT or 4pm PST) by visiting your own tank. So it is possible to unlock these purchase rewards without spending any money, even without any friends willing to purchase items from your tank, but it will take a long time to earn enough aquabux (min 10 days per purchase).

Finally, the stats are the same for all your tanks in all spaces, so you dont have to worry about which tank gets used to increase stats. The one exception are the fish (assuming a tank is Unique and not a Clone).

I'm almost to the 60 day old fish now. If anyone wants help getting the friend visits add me, I need some help getting those rewards and will help you back. I believe the rule is 1 visit per day per friend, so you kind of need multiple people if you ever plan to get to 500. I normally sign on around 9pm-ish CST but might be able to get on earlier just for this purpose. Also I haven't used any of my points, so I can make any planned point purchase I can do it from a friends tank to help them get credit, I recommend using the same method.

Here is the latest update from Juggernaught:

I wanted to update everyone on what’s going on. We have been unable to identify the issue with the user stories. Juggernaut is only able to debug in the test environment, and not on live. Unfortunately, the libram is functioning perfectly in the test environment, so we don’t have any indication of what might be happening on the live servers. We have been working with Sony to try and get some information about what is causing this issue. Unfortunately, they are having trouble pinpointing the problem as well.

I want to apologize to everyone, and especially to those whose winning stories were supposed to be published. It is, unfortunately, beyond our control at this point until we can get some indication of what is causing the problem. As a last resort, we have uploaded an alternate version removing the stories and rewarding the crow companion to everyone who interacts with the book. Sony indicated that they can get it published by next week, so the free raven companion should be available next Wednesday, barring any further catastrophe.

So perhaps at least the reward will be available next week... But considering the current PSN disastrous maintenance which was supposed to last 12 hours and is now looking more like 40+ hours, as well as the announcement that next week all our Home saved files will be uploaded to the PSN and from then on it will be impossible to make or use any backup Home saves, I have very little faith anyone in charge knows what they're doing any more.

The situation just got a whole lot more bleak... Everyone's clubhouse layouts for all their clubhouse skins have been wiped out. Will Sony be able to restore those files? Who knows, but the thing is, those files are stored not on our HDDs but on Sony's server... In the exact same way they plan on storing all our current Home files.

I can't for the life of me understand why the entire management team for Home haven't lost their jobs yet.

According to Lockwood, that was meant to be a single use only code and they contacted Sony to fix it, which I think they did, because none of my friends who tried the code today got anything. As for those who used the code last night, I hope Lockwood sucks it up and lets us keep the items we got, since we used the code in good faith and it was a mistake on their part

They did a great job on that Raven companion (even lands on your shoulder if you stand still long enough), but I noticed they removed the option to view the stories (square button).
 
I was disappointed that I am still unable to read the stories, but I was pleased to find that I could now complete the candle game for the ghost costume, along with receiving the Raven companion. The ghost costume was not available when I purchased Cutteridge Estates in October.

Yes, they mentioned that there was some production-only problem with getting those stories published, so they are still working on that. Didn't want to hold up the raven for the rest of us eagerly awaiting...
 
I'm reading that Jewel of the Skies is giving guest an Arabian Carpet reward. Anyone have this space and can confirm, and do some invites?

Hellmutt - As of 1/27, visitors can now get the Jewel of the Skies guest carpet LMO by talking to their host's/hostess' genie. :applause:
