Frys will have the Playstation Move Starter Bundle for $49 from 6/3 - 6/9.

Price is good in store. Not sure if it will be online.
My closest store has plenty of stock. Sears has better PMing + 10% off for $48.18 w/ tax. :D
Sears normally do an extra +10% off when they pm??

Anyone who can scoop one of these up for me I'd def be willing to pay or make a trade for it. Just pm me what youd be willing to trade for.
I still dont think its worth it. I really do not want all that crap laying around my house.
Yeah that tiny camera and one handed controller really clutter it up. My ice cream scoop takes up more space than this whole kit.

City of Industry Fry's is out of stock, but they gave me a Rain Check, do you think i can show that at sear and maybe they can price match it?

From Sears' PM policy:

Q: What if the local competitor’s item is not listed as being limited quantity, but the item is not in stock?
A: If a local competitor is out of stock of the particular item, we will not match the local competitor’s price. “In stock” means that the item is available for same day pickup or can be delivered within 7 days by the competitor. We reserve the right to call the local competitor to verify if the item is in stock.

In other words, no.

as far as sears goes if the clerk is either nice or lazy it doesn't matter if its OOS at another store. I've pmed several times there, never was denied. they never called the local store. I just said they have it on sale but I know you guys PM + extra so I'd rather get it here, not that its OOS and I want it badly. The manager has to come sign off on it though so if he wants to check you're boned.

What is everyone picking up with this? I keep looking at the Move-compatible game list and I'm not seeing anything too interesting. I bought it primarily for Heavy Rain and DS Extraction, and plan on No More Heroes. Killzone 3?

I snagged Time Crisis: Razing Storm, and Dead Space 2 (for Extraction) with my move. I'm a sucker for lightgun games, and I liked Extraction so far, but havent played TC yet. lookin for other games I can play with the wife, and kinda excited to try the Pain update with move controls. I've already played Heavy Rain, does the Move actually add anything to the gameplay?

Yeah, I already beat Heavy Rain too, but I wanted to give it a shot with the Move controls. Apparently, it's a completely different experience.
just bought ebay onefor $80... though I did get the navi & dock station so it's a good deal still.
I just bought a bundle from Craigslist for $100. It came with two move controllers, a nav controller, the camera, and Sports Champions for $100. Easily would've paid over $200 for that full retail. Everything was mint so I was highly impressed!

Went to Best Buy yesterday and was excited to price match. I went to the counter and the girl said she HAD to confirm whether or not Fry's has it in stock before she would sell it to me at that price. She called Fry's and the phone kept ringing and ringing. I waited there with her for about 15 minutes before someone picked up. Fry's was "sold out" and the girl smiled and told me she couldn't sell it to me at that price. I wasted a lot of time driving out. Grrr.

Damn she even smiled when she told you they were OOS? My Best Buy certainly doesnt love me because of all the PMing I do, but they'd at least pretend like they wished they could help.

The Renton, WA was sold out. Got a rain check but since I don't live there, I tried a PM at Target right across the street. Target honored the PM, I got to use my gift card too, so overall I'm satisfied. Only downside was Target's bundle did not come with sports champions, but the 'start party!' game instead.

Can't believe I missed this until today. Of course the Roseville, CA store was sold out. Not even the signage left. Maybe I'll try a PM at Walmart this week and hope they don't call.

I think this is why Fry's is selling this bundle for 50% off, it has been discontinued in favor of the Start the Party bundle.
Does Walmart not price match with Fry's? The person I spoke to was rude.
I have pricematched Walmart with Fry's before, I just need the dated ad to show as proof, and they never call the store to verify...

^I called my walmart (which is about 30 min from Fry's) and the person said they DO NOT price match with fry's. So annoying.

I then went to Target and they said all I needed was the ad. I brought a print out of the ad from the official Fry facebook page. The rude manager told me they won't price match since I didn't have the original print with me. I told her to call Fry's and verify that this is real and she said no. I am soooo pissed.

Instead of calling, you should go to Walmart in person, they have been running commercials stating that they match prices so you shouldn't be denied. Complain to the manager if you have to. I do suggest you do bring you the original Ad to help your case, Fry's ran the sale price again in Today's paper.

As far as Target goes, you should complain. They do call their customer's "guests" after all. Again it always helps to have the original ad.

you got a nice sears. my local sears calls and verifies whether or not frys has inventory before pm-ing. since concord fry's is apparently out of stock the sears said no to pm.

fortunately i went to best buy afterward and the very nice cashier knew all about the fry's sale and he was happy to pm instantly no prob. he said he pm'ed about 3 other move bundles earlier in the day.

at least ten more move sports bundle's on the shelf at pleasant hill bb.

For those in the houston, texas area I was able to price match in sears at willowbrook mall with no problems. They did not even call to verify in stock, I just showed them the ad. Also anyone who is interested I had one reserved at the frys off of 59 which I did not pick up since I already have 2. From the email it says must be picked up by 6/6 closing time which I did not see, so it might be re-shelved. Just a heads up for anyone interested.

I posted it in the local thread, but in case anyone doesn't read that...

The Milton, GA store supposedly has 2 in stock according to the web and call center. They do not have them though. They will give rain checks for later as mentioned in the thread though. According to the girl working in the games section it shows more coming in today (although she said that can be off by a few days). The rain check is good for a month so I am sure they will get more in by then.

not a nice sears, just got lucky and got a lazy 20 yr old cashier. they have pc stations around so i just show them the web page with the price. One example was the dj hero sale at toys r us for $20 a while back. I just showed them the image toyrus put up about the sale, through CAG even (he didn't see that part though).

Was able to just walk into to the Manhattan Beach location, asked one ofthe worked if they had the move bundle and they grabbed it for me from behind the cashier area. Maybe they got a new shipment in?

can I order it online for instore pickup and then buy it in the store when I get there for $50?

Also if I already bought it can I use that to get a PM at sears?

You definitely don't want to over pay for a cheaper item, lol. ;)
Still waiting for a good deal on the nav controller. Desperately need it after playing the PS3 No More Heroes demo.
Is there a website where you can go to see which games use the Nav Controller? I currently have one, but I don't know what games are compatible with it...

I bought one for $20 from Amazon WD just now. Can't tell if that's a good deal or not.

If you have a Fry's nearby and want one, I advise checking back in the next day or two. Went to Roseville, CA store and asked one of the workers in the VG dept. He said they sold out quickly on Friday but ended up having a few extra from people that ordered online and never picked them up.

He pulled out the last one from behind one of the registers in the VG dept. for me.

Price matched at a Connecticut Walmart! Well, I paid $60 after dealing with the managers for 10 minutes, but still not a bad price for a Northeast store ^_^
